"Wow was I originally wrong and wow am I happy I decided to hire Big Z's! Long story short, I purchased what I thought was high quality tile from a local retailer. The plan was to use this tile on my master bath for both the shower as well as the floor. I started to get my quotes and that's when I quickly learned there are a lot of amateurs out there and then there are the pros. Big Z is a PRO! He took one look at my tile and immediately recognized it was B-grade. He showed me several areas on almost every single tile that had manufacturing flaws. I would've installed this faulty tile had he not educated me! Not only did Z save me from having bad tile installed but he assisted in finding some quality tile (locally as well) at an even better price. The work was completed quickly and the final product was jaw-dropping! I am beyond pleased with my service and just want to thank Big Z one more time for a job well done! "

"DO NOT RECOMMEND. Raul was nice, we liked him (and his wife) and he did a great job on the repairs he started (drywall/plaster repair). However it took almost 2 months to get 90% of the work done. We were flexible and understanding despite my wife?s frustration with the delays. He actually asked me to front him money for the job not completed which I did (though I know better) because we liked him. Then he had a family emergency (which we were understanding of) and didn?t show up for weeks. It?s been 4.5 months and he has not finished the work we paid him for and refuses to respond to my inquiries about him completing the job. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I?ll be sure to let neighborhoods around me know not to use him. What a shame."

"I chose Carico Drywall because of his attention to detail, the fact he came out to give me an estimate, and the fact that he uses Union Drywall Installers. He was my 3rd bid in my buildout for my garage, and he was the highest bid by far. But the fact that he came to my house, met with me, explained and asked good genuine questions proved to me that he was the correct person to do the job. My garage is 1500sqft (30 ft deep , 50 ft wide) ceiling height is 18ft. At the peak, its roughly 22ft. I used R21 batting in the walls and 6 to 7 inches of open cell spray foam in the ceiling. The shop was drywalled with 5/16 inch drywall, no real need for anything thicker since the insulation keeps most sound dampened. I didnt tackle the drywall, because I felt like that would have taken me forever. Would i recommend Carico to do more projects? Yes I would."

"My sister referred me after SEVERAL small jobs were completed at her home as well as mine. Then I booked a few small jobs as well. But things went south with this last project. My only concern was having the severely rotted soffit/fascia wood replaced and painted, which I expressed to them. He gave an oral quote of 3000.00 after seeing pics. It was more than I anticipated so I was going to hold off until I could check into some finances. After a visual inspection he said it was not going to cost as much as he thought. But they could paint my entire home, install some vinyl siding roof peaks to replace aluminum siding, and do the repairs for 3500.00. I reiterated my concern was repairing the rotted wood, so how much just for that? 1500.00 - 2000.00 he said but he kept pushing the painting and the resulting curb appeal. So, against my better judgment I went with the entire job. He did not say they were not coming back until I contacted him. We have all the fascia/soffits cleaned/prepared/painted. Some of the windows and the garage door, all the siding caulk/paint is finished. The only extras I was not able to finish were the shutters and a few windows. We ran out of money. I did as much as I could. We did it all at cost. I can have one painter finish painting those items for about 300.00 more? I apologize I really tried to get it all for you. The end result: My home is half painted, the soffit/fascia board was cut too short, the workers broke the branches on one of my shurbs and was even seen standing on my rose bush while painting. They said they wanted to make things right. I told them making it right is completing what you promised for the price you told me. So when I declined a walkthrough so they could go over all the completed works with me, they became unresponsive to further text messages or phone calls. Being a person with integrity I paid the bill in full and my home curb appeal is unfinished. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAYLOR HOME CONSTRUCTION TO ANYONE!"

"Zack and his team remodeled the majority of our new home purchase. They painted our kitchen cabinets, and walls in every room. They installed tile in our kitchen and bathrooms, as well as kitchen backsplash, and installed LVP flooring and gym flooring in our basement. They changed out most of the light fixtures and remodeled some of our basement rooms as well. The job was done on time and on budget. We could not have been happier with the work they performed or the input he provided. We would highly recommend Zack to anyone for future work."
