What areas of the city do you service?
Our service area includes the following locations in Missouri and Kansas:
Belton, Grandview, Greenwood, Harrisonville, Lake Winnebago, Leawood, Lee’s Summit, Loch Lloyd, Lone Jack, Martin City, Mission Hills, Olathe, Overland Park, Peculiar, Pleasant Hill, Prairie Village, Raymore, Spring Hill, Stanley, Stilwell and other areas within 20 miles of zip code 64012. Services are available in other areas, but may be subject to a destination fee starting at $25.
When it comes to housekeeping, do you provide supplies and equipment?
Yes, we provide most of the necessary cleaning agents, equipment and supplies. We do not provide laundry detergents, lawn equipment, or trash bags. If you have specific preferences for supplies or equipment, we would be happy to use what you provide.
Are there any services your assistants cannot perform?
For the safety of our employees, we do not permit assistants to engage in services that require work from a height greater than that of a one-step step ladder. Additionally, we require our assistants to use the proper protective equipment when the work requires contact with chemicals or agents, animal or human bodily fluids or feces. Our assistants will not engage in services that are illegal or put themselves or others in danger.
Do you personal assistants have any special certifications or licensures?
All of our personal assistants who provide direct care for seniors or children are CPR certified. Assistants who provide tutoring services are licensed with the Department of Education in their licensing state, or possess considerable education and experience in their field of specialty.
How do you handle billing for service?
Payment for services is generally due when services are rendered. Clients who have used regular services for 90 days or more may be qualify for our monthly billing program. We accept Mastercard, Visa, cash, personal check, and money orders. A $35 fee applies to all returned payments.
Do you have hourly minimums or other scheduling requirements?
Clients who elect to use our hourly services will be billed for a two-hour service minimum. After the two-hour minimum is met, clients will be billed by the half-hour. To guarantee an assistant, please schedule your services 48 hours in advance. We will try to make accommodations for items scheduled with less notice, but cannot guarantee services.
How do I reschedule a service I previously scheduled?
To reschedule a scheduled service, please call us at 816-812-5106 as soon as possible. We will make every attempt to reschedule services when at least 48 hours notice is given. A $30 cancellation fee may apply to services that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
Do you offer any additional discounts on services?
We are please to offer a 5% discount on hourly services or contracted services to seniors age 65+, veterans, members of the military, and clergy. ID required.
Do you share client information with others?
Our personal assistants serve with discretion and are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism at all times. We will never sell or exchange your information with any third party, unless required by law. Our assistants will not engage in services that are illegal or put themselves or others in danger.
During what hours are your services available?
Services from our personal assistants are generally available during the normal business hours listed below. Arrangements may be made to provide service outside of these normal hours for an additional fee.
Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-9:00pm
Friday-Saturday, 6:30am-11:00pm
Sunday and holidays, by limited arrangement only
