Description of Work: In a world full of contractors that tend to overcommit themselves and under deliver, Select Contract does the opposite. They hit a home run on our basement buildout! From our first meeting with the owner, Jamison, we knew that we were engaging them regardless of where their bid came in compared to the 4 other contractors we interviewed. Jamison's sense of confidence and professionalism impressed a family who has high standards. Select Contractors came in with clear cut plans, gave us a straight forward bid and instilled confidence in the ability to complete the job on time and on budget. Our basement took 6 weeks (as promised) and included some rare nice touches where their carpentry and cabinetry skills displayed themselves. As a surprise they included some child friendly lights (low voltage) in our son's playroom and he absolutely loves it! We have found our forever contractor and plan on using them to hardscape our backyard. One final note: these guys do the majority of their own work. They contracted out the drywall and did everything else themselves. They leave a flawlessly clean workspace each night...even to the point of OCD, which we appreciated. They swept the floor each night and we never knew if they had been there or not until we went downstairs each night. You can't go wrong with Jamison and his crew.
