+ 0 moreThe porch turned out beautifully, and I was pleased with the result. I did have to call several times to get the last of the job finished (because it turned out that sealing the marble was wrong; it created streaking.) He removed that finish with no extra charge and repainted some of the caulking. The rest of the job went well. Mr. Reichold is a pleasant person to work with.
Description of Work: Dean Reichold restored a deteriorated front porch. He removed the existing ceiling, installed a new beaded wood ceiling, and stained it. He repaired and replaced part of a damaged beam across the front of the porch and painted the beams and eaves. He ground away several layers of paint from the (as it turned out) inset marble floor. He caulked the porch seams and painted where necessary to make everything match.

+ -1 moreWe were very happy with the results and how careful Dean was with the work. I picked colors with his comments and suggestions. He double checked what color went where to be sure to get it right. Even with some challenges with first ladders then a lift on uneven terrain to reach the highest parts, he did not ask to increase the price.
Description of Work: Dean Reichold repaired and painted the front of our 2.5 story, 100 year old house with three colors of trim work.
