Hoffman Concrete, LLC

I have had Hoffman concrete work on many of my other homes in the past, as well as my current home. Every time I work with them , I am met with Kind heartedness smiles and a good work ethic. They are an absolute joy to be around. From the concrete crew, to the office team, and the owner himself all made me feel comfortable and communicated with me throughout the entire project. They were very informative, knowledgeable, and masters of their craft. The estimator set my expectations incredibly high and I must say they not only met them but surpassed them. 10 out of 10 would recommend 👌 Thanks again to all the guys at Hoffman concrete for making my space a better place.

We hired Hoffman Concrete based on a recommendation from the "Handyman STL" Facebook group to seal our new concrete driveway, walkways, and porches. We sought out multiple bids -- the first used a less-than-ideal type of sealant that completely alters the appearance of the concrete, a second bid used big-box hardware store off-the-shelf sealant, the third bid used a quality sealer (but was twice the price of Hoffman). That leaves me with Hoffman. They use an industrial-grade penetrating silicone/siloxane concrete sealant that has been used on highways in neighboring states. Given their reasonable price point, it certainly made the most sense. Communication came via direct text message with one of their office staff using one of their personal cell phones (as opposed to the typical game of finding the right person to talk to at an office). This made scheduling and payment incredibly easy. A quality job at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more!

Hoffmann flatworks did an amazing job repairing our aggregate driveway. After countless evaluations from engineers, foundation recovery companies, and Flatwork contractors, Hoffmann came through with the most comprehensive solutions and cost estimate. The attention to detail and craftsmanship was second to none. The finished work was top notch.

Hoffman Concrete was absolutely amazing! They fixed up my backyard in a timely manner, and took the time and attention to detail needed to give me the backyard and driveway I desperately needed. I had them do a shed pad and patio for me in the backyard, which turned out perfect. They also switched out my asphalt driveway for a concrete one, and were able to finish the whole job within a week. The team was very friendly, knowledgeable of their craft, and they all worked very well together. Communication from start to finish was a breeze, and I am overall very satisfied with their work and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality concrete and flatwork.

I had Hoffman Concrete redo my driveway, and sidewalk last spring (2022). Throughout the entire process, from quote, to scheduling, to work performed, and on they were fantastic. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and the whole crew was great. The thing that really impressed me was the care and attention after the job was done and paid for. This is also the reason why I waited a year to write a review. Some places can do incredible work but leave you hanging after the job is done. I decided to have them seal my driveway at the time of installation, and that opened me up to a 1-year warrant for covered items. Without getting too wordy, I had some minor issues as a result of the winter (not a result of workmanship). I was able to call them, and they exceeded my expectations with their attention, and solution to it. Concrete can be temperamental, and it can be easy for things to fall outside the warranty, but companies who care about their customers, like Hoffman, do no look for loopholes, but instead focus the customer satisfaction. I will plan to use them for any future needs, and I have already given out strong recommendations to family and friends. This is a high-quality company.

Mark was a lifesaver for us! We found ourselves in an awful situation with an undisclosed foundation issue that our seller covered up which turned out to be a significant issue and we didn’t know what to do! Mark worked with another reputable contractor (who repaired our foundation) and coordinated several professionals and helped us get our garage, foundation and concrete projects scheduled and then completed. Great communication, fair prices and most importantly great work! We highly recommend this company and would hire them again without hesitation.

I'm very pleased with the result! The quality of the work is fantastic - the concrete looks great, everything is well-formed and exactly as I hoped. As a team, the owner Mark and his staff were professional, friendly, and did great work. As the work was underway, they suggested a couple minor changes within contract scope based on aesthetics and end-result practicality, and were quick to communicate the whole time.

Mark and the crew did an awesome job! Our backyard has limited access and his team was able to do the patio without damaging the existing retaining wall. Very happy with the work, well worth the wait.

The only problem we had was due to the inspectors in my home town being really strict, but Hoffman worked with the inspectors to help ensure we got a driveway that works for our needs. The ultimate goal was to widen the driveway, but the inspectors wouldn’t allow us to pour the full width, so Hoffman solved the problem using pavers. The finished driveway and easement wall are fantastic. All the neighbors around me have been complimenting us on how nice it looks now. I highly recommend.

Hoffman Concrete removed my existing concrete floor in my garage and poured a new floor with new steps. Mark and his entire crew were hardworking and did a fantastic project for me. Their pricing was great and service was exceptional. I highly recommend them if you need any concrete work done.

Mark was great to work with. He can and measured everything, showed us pictures to pick stamp and color. His employees were very pleasant and explained when they would finish and when they would be back. Definitely one of the best concrete companies I have worked with.
