Mark and his crew did an outstanding job replacing my failing retaining walls. They were very easy to work with and Corey who was the lead on the job had several good suggestions to make the walls flow and look seamless with the exterior of my house.

Original resurfacing work and coating was done in 2018 by Hoffman Concrete. Coating used (Behr product) began to flake off later that year. Recoated by Hoffman Concrete with same Behr product later in 2018 and again in 2019. Coating continued to flake off, and Hoffman Concrete promised to recoat a third time in 2020, but they did not show up to recoat They have failed to answer four phone messages from me this year. The explanation given by Hoffman Concrete for the flaking problem was that they were told by Behr that the Behr coating product was not resistant to ice melting compound put on the porch and steps during the Winter months. I contacted Behr directly this Fall and was told that Hoffman Concrete used the wrong one of their concrete coating products (Porch and Patio Floor Paint), and probably did not use the required primer coat under the top coat. Behr acknowledged that the Behr coating product used by Hoffman Concrete was not resistant to ice melting compound, but indicated that it was the wrong coating product for this application. Behr also indicated that if Hoffman Concrete had used the correct coating product (Solid Color Concrete Stain) on top of the correct primer (Concrete and Masonry Bonding Primer), there should have been no flaking even with ice melting compound.

Our patio looks beautiful! Would we hire this company again? Yes, the job they did is beautiful, and professional…However, if we were on a time constraint we would have included a completion date on the contract with the option to back out if the date was not met. We were given the impression that the project was going to be started within weeks of signing the contract and just like everything else during the pandemic this job was not started for several months. We absolutely understand that things happen (particularly the last two years), but also believe that good communication and transparency are incredibly important and felt that was lacking after we signed the contract. Hopefully it was a learning experience for all. In terms of the actual construction and installation of the patio Eric and Nate the two in charge. They were amazing! I cannot say enough about these two guys! They were very communicative throughout the whole process making sure that what we wanted was what we got. Any time there was a question or issue they would come to us ask us our opinion, but also weigh in with their experience. At the end of the job, everything looked neat and tidy, and we were pleased with the end result!

Hoffman concrete is the only company I even considered to do my driveway. I didn’t get another bid or compare, no need. I want quality work and their work is top notch. I never have to wonder if it’s being done properly. This is the second job I have hired him to do and I’m sure it won’t be the last! Do yourself a favor and just hire them.

Everything went great. The dig and prep was done on one day and then the pour was done a few days later. Everyone was professional and were happy to answer all of my questions during the process. I am very happy with the quality of the concrete.

Mark and his team were very responsive and did very high quality work. We have received numerous compliments on the look and quality. Our job had been started by another group that abandoned the job leaving us with no steps. Mark came in and finished it quickly I really appreciated all that he and his crew did.

The work itself was professionally done. Mark Hoffman came out himself to review the work with us before it started and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. The end product was terrific! The only negative of the experience was the length of time from getting our work under contract to getting it started--right at 6 months. The other frustration was the lack of communication. Like many other businesses in 2021, Mark told me he was struggling to find enough help to keep the work moving as quickly as usual. That would probably explain the time it took to start our project, it doesn't explain the communication issues. Still, I would recommend Hoffman Concrete for this type of work.

Contracted with Hoffman Concrete, LLC for the replacement of garage floor and a large driveway. Workers were courteous and professional. The job went smoothly and was completed to my expectations. I would recommend the contractor to others.

Mark and his crew did an amazing job turning an unused space into an amazing patio and outdoor living space! Mark was always flexible and catering to our vision! The stone and concrete work was top notch. Would definitely recommend for future concrete and stone jobs!

This is hands down one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Mark and his team were excellent to work with and their work is the best in industry. I originally hired another contractor do do the work and it was an absolute disaster. Mark and his team stepped in and got the permit approved in a day, and all the work completed in less than 4 days. I would highly recommend Hoffman to anyone looking for concrete work. Will definitely use him on all my projects.

We paid them 1/3 down last October 2020. June 2021 we asked for our money back or the work done. August 2021 they started and finished the job but left big concrete chunks, small rock, glass and cigarette butts in the yard. I asked them to come back and remove it. I received no answer.

I highly recommend Hoffman Concrete for any of your concrete needs. Mark Hoffman and his teams first did our stamped patio a few years ago and it has been a great addition that we enjoy every day. Then we needed our driveway replaced and they did another excellent job. They tore out our 3 car driveway and sidewalk. The new driveway/sidewalk is perfectly finished and really does enhance the “curb appeal”.

New driveway looks amazing. They did a great job. Had to wait about a year to get it done, but it got completed quickly once they started.

Mark and his crew are very skilled and delivered a great product that I am very happy with. It took a little bit longer for them to start the job than I wanted, but once they started they knocked it out fast. Mark went above and beyond on the job due to the small delay in the beginning and I appreciated the gesture. Would hire him again. Very reasonably priced.

Their estimated price came in less than their competitors, and they really delivered on quality and workmanship. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Both crews fought a constant battle with Mother Nature. The rain caused many delays but they worked between the rain drops and got it done. It was a large project but it’s done and looks great.

Work was well done. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. Crew was efficient and wasted no time.

Work was done in a professional manner and when the job was scheduled, the workers were on time and there were a sufficient number of workers to perform the work in a timely manner.
