Jamie is very pleasant to work with. He is very flexible to meet my needs and designed a beautiful and functional backyard. His crew is very professional and works very hard to have all the planting done in time.

Never got a return call. Went with competitor.

I called and set appointment with Karl the designer. He came to house and he looked over the project. We talked about plants I liked. I really had no set vision so I left it to the professional. One he had a design I met him at the nursery and we walked around and he showed me the proposed plants. We made a few minor adjustments. I gave a deposit and he put me on the schedule. I really liked dealing with Karl. Very easy going, experienced and professional. I also like being able to walk the nursery and see the plants in person all in one place. They have a huuuge variety of everything. I got a call saying when they were coming and about how long it would take. The guys showed up and did a great job. Karl was there managing to make sure it all went down as expected. This spring all looks great.

They walked me through all the different options and gave me lessons on how to properly care for the plants. They stand by their product.

They replaced the plants planted last year that died. The quality of the plants were superb.

The person we worked with was very nice and professional. He took an interest in helping us find what we were looking for and helping us with the details as to planting and care of the trees. The large tree was delivered and planted in a very reasonable amount of time, as it was about 9 days after purchase. That is very good because this is a busy time of year for planting trees. The only thing I would grade them down on are the prices. Even though we received a 50% discount for the smaller trees, we were able to go to another nearby nursery and pay full price for the same tree, which was slightly smaller, 5 ft. tall vs. 6 ft. tall. The discounted price of each tree was about $115 compared to the other nursery at full price, which was $79. So even a 50% discount doesn't seem to compare to the other store's full price. Also, since we were getting a discount, we have no warranty on the trees, but the competitor has given us a full warranty on the cheaper tree. Overall a good experience, with quality products, and professional staff. To reiterate, the pricing was the only issue that I had.

They were punctual and dug out some old shrubs. They tilled the part where we had rock and sheeting over the ground and added new dirt in its spot. They planted the new shrubs and then mulched. They did a great job more than I expected!

Mr Sherwood was very helpful when I told my problem of my tree losing leaves a few months ago. He explained how to go the scratch test on the bark to verify if really dead. On a Saturday I went in with my receipt for my dead tree . They helped me pick out a replacement that would work better in my west county clay soil. I got a 100 % credit towards my new tree. They sent me a message Monday saying they could be out on Tuesday, weather permitting. When I got home from work it was beautifully planted , without any damage to my newly seeded grass. I was very impressed and pleased with their work.

Great. All of the plants are top quality and the personnel are very knowledgeable.

Over 3 visits to the nursery we purchased a total of 8 trees and had them planted. They were very helpful in helping us pick out the best trees for what we wanted. They offer a two year warranty if they plant the trees. The team that came to our house were very professional and friendly. They arrived when scheduled and did a great job. They gave us detailed instructions on how to take care of the trees. They all survived the harsh winter of 2013/2014 and are growing like crazy. We will continue to use Sherwood Forest for all of our landscaping needs.

Very pleased with the results. Design was submitted to us and then we modified it to our preferences. Result is very pleasing and easy to maintain. I will use them again for our landscape design work.

They showed up on time, did a totally professional job, cleaned up and left me very thankfull that I called them. They have a wonderful guarantee, and performed better than I expected. I would recommend them to anyone.

Bad they won't answer the phone to schedule a bid I would hate to see what they do after they have your deposit

Bill Minford responded to an email to me immediately after I left a message. I was referred to him by a neighbor with great front yard landscaping. I didn't have a great idea, but Bill suggested a beautiful design. He drove by my office within a week of calling him (a few days delayed due to snow) and had designs to me immediately. He then followed up with a call to meet in person as work was about to start and only then asked for a deposit. Work performed as scheduled and he called a few days later to ensure satisfaction.

The staff was very helpful in selecting the right trees and shrubs for our purposes. The prices were also very reasonable and the installation crew did an excellent job, even under some unexpected challenges.

Our project went very well and we couldn't be more pleased. Bill Minford is a true professional.. We had a large backyard project we needed help with. Bill redesigned the layout, adding new beds and privacy screening areas as well as incorporated our existing plants/trees into the new design. His vision far surpassed what we were thinking our entertaining area could be. I highly recommend Bill for your landscape design project. The pricing compared to others, but what stood out from the rest was the warranty - 2 years full replacement if planted by Sherwood Forest.

The plants was but awesome but a little prices

I would potentially use this company in the future. We received another bid that met our needs a little better.

Pulled down the and quot;oldand quot; wall that was built in July, they scraped all the liquid nail off each block and reused them to make 4 round planting beds that we love. Our designer showed up the first morning(every day) and made sure we did not want to make any last minute changes to the plans we had. Once we gave the go ahead he instructed the crew on what needed to be accomplished that day, they got right to work. The crew was very polite and professional, did not ever see any them just standing around and they completed the task a day sooner than we expected, I am very pleased with the results.

We were very impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and punctuality. We received 4 bids for the project and we were very close to choosing Sherwood, but the price differential for this particular project compared to another bid led us to go with another landscaper. However, I would definitely consider using Sherwood in the future. Several of the landscapers in our area were not particularly prompt in returning our queries. Sherwood was terrific.

I called to see if they had the flower baskets I needed. They said yes. Unfortunately they were sold out when I got there the next day. An employee potted up the baskets especially for me. Another words, they went above and beyond too satisfy my needs. The plants are doing wonderfully!

They are always good, their stock is good, they do whatever they say they are going to do, and they are just good to do business with. Their prices are competitive, they are not overly priced, and it was a positive experience.

We met him and he reviewed the plan with us. Then he took us around the nursery and we examined the plantings he had suggested. It was great to actually see them live instead of on a drawing. There was one plant I didn't care for so he offered another suggestion. What I also like is that he mentioned with me being pregnant I would have to be watering them often in the hot summer - his advice was that it might be better to wait until September to plant so that I'm not out there twice a day in the heat watering them. We will work with them when we do our plantings!
