We want our homes to be calm and restful. And we want to spend time on things that matter while connecting with those we love. But life is full of unexpected road blocks and challenges. The added frustration of a cluttered kitchen or not being able to find the car keys, a cooking utensil or our child’s tennis shoes can cause us to feel like a failure in our own home. At Perfectly Placed we will eliminate the clutter and find the perfect place for everything in your home so that you can focus on what matters most. We perform home and office organization as well as closet design in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. We are passionate about giving you a better quality of life by helping you declutter and teaching you systems to simplify your life. Your investment in our services is $65-$80 an hour, depending on the amount of hours you purchase.

Fantastic work by the whole Perfectly Placed crew. They did a thorough and thoughtful job of organizing our entire house. We're now a month out from their unpacking and I would say 99% of things are in an ideal location, which is incredible given the short amount of time they needed to assess the house. They also came with organizing supplies that they used as-needed to minimize the need for us to find solutions. Their work de-stressed what I normally find to be a very stressful ordeal. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

This was quite possibly the best money I've ever spent. Moving in and getting organized is tough but, even more so for super busy people. At a certain point after moving in you're either fully unpacked or completely overwhelmed. That's where I was left when we enlisted the help of Perfectly Placed and truly I couldn't be happier. We purchased the "starter" session (2 organizers for 3 hours) and the first session went SO WELL we purchased another 6-hours with 2 organizers. The first session they came while we were home, took a tour, and got to work. The second session was EVEN BETTER because they came during the day while we were at work. When we walked in that night it was incredible (and so stress relieving!) It's been a couple weeks and this far we are LOVING everything! I mean - it's so nice to come at the end of the day and not have to worry about where things are, unpacking, etc. We are planning on using their services again in the future.

Cost above is for all visits - just not the special Susan and her assistant initially visited for 6 hoursas part of this special. We spent time talking about my goals and then dug right in. We got the basement done in that 6 hours. I had them out for 3 further visits to finish the basement, my kitchen, craft room, and started on my bedroom. We established a mail system to deal with paperwork coming into the house. I was so impressed that when I got stuck a few months later, I had them back out a further visits to get me unstuck and tweak what wasn't working. Susan is very professional but very kind at the same time. She's almost part therapist in helping you deal with some of the issues that are behind the clutter and helping when you get stuck to figure why and then come up with ways to break through it. I would use her again in a heartbeat (and probably will at some point).

Susan is amazing. She has brilliant space planning ideas. My closet, laundry room, bathrooms, etc., looked like they belonged in a perfectionist's home (which I am not!). I just wish that I could have brought her to Houston with me when I moved!

It went wonderful, after a few hours I let them just do their work and It is beautiful. They did all of my closets and after a few hours I trusted them 100%. They bring in organizational items. They labeled everything. They had my clothes organized by size, color, and occasion. I even contacted them back after my trial period with Angie's list to come and do my office closet with all of my confidential items because I trust them that much. I have a 3 level home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY LOOKING TO ORGANIZE THEIR HOME OR OFFICE.
Description of Work: They came in and they did the basement and my entire house(bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms). They organized everything and got rid of duplicates. I didn't even know I had a lot of things. They were educated, professional. and trustworthy and very very honest.

It was mostly okay. It was all completed. There were no additional charges. There were follow-up things offered but I didn't want that. She did a really good job of helping me organize some things. When she helped me move something, she scratched my floor pretty badly. Besides that one, she did a nice job. She showed up on time.

For the most part everything was great, both organizers were professional and friendly and I didn't feel embarrassed by all of our mess, so that's good. I wish a little more could have gotten done, but I know that's just an indicator of how much crap was in there in the first place. They really worked hard the whole time they were here. I need a lot of hand-holding to organize because I get so overwhelmed I can't think straight, so occasionally I felt a bit stressed by the owner shop vaccing the walls of the garage inch by inch, but I eventually got over my reluctance to tell her to stop doing that and help me focus on the big stuff, which she of course did as soon as I said that. I would like to say kudos to her for being so thorough! I would love to get the garage really clean after all the excess stuff is completely gone and totally organized. I would hire them again if I had another big "full room" project.
Description of Work: Two organizers (the owner and one employee) came over to help me with some unpacking and much-needed organization after a move. All three of us worked for 3 hours on the garage which had been the collection zone for everything we hadn't found a place for or hadn't unpacked. Prior to starting no actual car could fit in garage. When they were done, one car could fit, Hooray!

They were very professional. They interviewed my husband about his likes and dislikes before getting started, then cleaned, grouped like objects, and labeled. We were very pleased! I would recommend them highly!
Description of Work: Susan and Melissa spent three hours organizing our garage. My husband has multiple health problems, and hasn't been able to do much for a while. Now he can go to the garage and find things! He is so happy!

Both Susan and Holly arrived in a timely manner and got right to work each time. They listened to our goals for the end result desired, and put together a work plan to accomplish those goals. Susan kept everyone on task during each session, which was great. By working alongside us, she and Holly helped my husband and I from getting bogged down in the sorting process. We could not be happier with the results. We ultimately tossed a lot of junk, donated a tremendous number of items, and ended up with our remaining possessions sorted and boxed, labeled and shelved in our storage area. It was a big job, but they were up to the task. Susan and Holly were friendly, professional and hard-working and we highly recommend their services!

I thought Susan was very kind, sympathetic and not judgmental at all. She understands how things get out of control in a small space like mine, and was sincerely helpful. She asked me honest questions about what I wanted, then made it happen. As she was also flexible with her time as she did not have another client after my appointment, I paid for an additional hour as we were making so much progress!! I've scheduled 3 additional appointments to work on other areas of the house as I was so happy with Susan's services (plus I text her to see if there were any cancellations so I can get cracking on the rest, even sooner) :) This type of service is expensive, but still worth the cost based on the outcome. I highly recommend Susan at Perfectly Placed and would use her again (but I'm hopeful that I won't need to as she'll have everything 'Perfectly Placed' and I'll keep up with it from there) :)
Description of Work: 1. Susan helped me to sort/review/organize and/or toss a slew of paper items I'd accumulated! 2. Susan helped me downsize, then rearrange items in our kitchen cabinets, plus labeling so I'm more apt to keep things organized. 3. Susan helped me organize the living room (even to the point of moving large furniture around). 4. Susan helped me take the items I decided to donate, to my car. 5. Susan encouraged me to start a 'to do' list, but the attainable kind, plus set up a paper organizing file folder system, reusing a divider I already had vs. having to buy something new.

Susan and (later) Melissa were very encouraging and helpful with guiding me through ways to tackle small problems first and working around a room to separate things into groups. I learned that part of my problem was the fact that I didn't have "places" for things to go and therefore couldn't find them when I needed them. I was very embarrassed initially but Susan and Melissa took over to help put things in piles and directed me to decide what would stay and what would go. I feel - without their help I would have never completed all the work that was accomplished. I am so proud of the way my home has and is becoming organized. It has made a world of difference and well worth the cost! Ten sessions for 3 hours each gets major things done. Susan also installed light fixtures and other items in order to shed light on and give things a place to go. Susan and Melissa did all the "work" and I appreciate their enthusiasm in doing so. After each session I was given "homework" to do before the next session and was congratulated on my efforts when they returned which was also encouraging. I must say - I was always given positive feedback which helped when they returned with more uplifting comments. I send praises and high recommendations for Perfectly Placed organization & design.

It all went very well. They were very friendly and helpful. We worked the entire time they were here (three hours each for four days), and we accomplished what I had wanted with the additional closet. When I had to reschedule once, it was not a problem.
Description of Work: They helped me organize my office, explaining what I needed to keep and what I could shred or throw away. They also provided me with an office file organization system that I have continued. Finally they helped me clean out one closet.

It was great help. We got all holiday decorations organized, and developed a plan for the rest of the basement, kitchen and all purpose room and garage organization. I signed up for a 30 hour package to complete the project.

I'm a "junky" person and it's hard to get rid of "things/clothes!" Susan sat down with me and we discussed why I bought the Deal on Angie's List, what did I expect, what my goals are and just general questions. Then we talked about things in general in order for her to get a better over-all picture of purpose. After that we decided to go to my bedroom!! Naturally - I apologized before we went upstairs and Susan assured me she gets that all the time from her clients, she use to it, and that's the reason I contacted her in the first place. Well, after the initial shock - Susan told me "this is not a problem - we just need to have containers for trash, donations, move to another place. Susan said look at the "big picture" not the little small ones as we got started. Susan really impressed me in the way she took charge and asked me questions as she demonstrated what she meant by the "big picture." We started at the dresser and completed everything on that wall before going to the next wall and so-on. We didn't quite finish by the time the 3 hours were up but we got sooo much done! I was amazed - the room [even unfinished] looked as if someone actually sleeps there. I've scheduled several more visits because - downstairs I've had my wall-to-wall carpet removed and hardwood floors sanded & stained so it's a mess as well with all my furniture in the LR and DR [vice-versa] as the rooms were done so, needless to say - lots of things got put places I'm going to have a tough time trying find them. For anyone looking for someone to guide you through putting things in a specific place and reduce/eliminate clutter - Susan at Perfectly Placed Organization and Designs is the one to contact. I highly recommend her service. Very pleased!

I was able to send Susan some pictures of our garage ahead of time, and she recommended a storage system that we had ready for that morning. She helped with the installation and organization. We also organized our laundry/mud room, a front closet, and they evaluated another storage area to give us ideas for the future. I was happy with the service.
