custom cabinets

Description of Work: We had our kitchen remodeled and this firm was on our contractors list to call for cabinets. Our contractor provided them our layout and we were able to get a Saturday appointment with Chris (their hours are not convenient, as they open at 8 and have no evening hours except by appointment). We picked out the cabinets and decided to buy. They do not take credit cards and Chris said they had to have 1/2 down prior to placing the order. He was to meet my wife early in the morning when the store opened (8 a.m.) so my wife could give him the check. For whatever reason, no one opened the doors and by 8:20, my wife left. Later that day we got the check to them and he placed the order. When the cabinets arrived, he called and said they were out for delivery and they sent them C.O.D. We had no idea they were in and were being delivered that day, so there was no check waiting. He said they wouldn't be delivered unless someone was there with a check. Had we been informed, we would have paid him or had a check waiting. They did rectify the situation and the cabinets were delivered. During the remodel, we decided to have a new bathroom vanity installed and we called Chris for that too. He came out, measured and ordered the vanity. The cabinets were received on time and, all in all, we are happy with them, yet there could have been better communication.

+ -1 moreSharon and Steve were fantastic in helping me pick out cabinets and finding exactly what I wanted. When my order arrived, they were responsive and great about replacing anything that was damaged during transit. I would use them again and recommend them to friends. They made the project go very smoothly!
Description of Work: Supplied cabinets for kitchen remodeling project, also cabinets for bath, sink top for bath as well.
