 + -1 moreIt was extremely pricey. I was not happy with the company, but the person I worked with was very professional.
Description of Work: They came out to help with the decorating of the office. They helped with the design of the desk, the bookcases the overall design of the storage area. They also worked with our carpenter on the overall design.

 + -1 moreShe did some upholstery work on the drapes, covering the cushions and re-covering the cushions. My designer is extremely helpful and very wary of price and tries to get the best quality and workmanship for the best price. She does quality work and she also matches my style, which made it easier for me to work with her.

 + 1 moreBe warned that if you work with this design company, even if you are willing to pay them a retainer for their design expertise. They really just want you to buy over-priced furniture and other decorative elements from them. If you're o.k. giving them well over $1,000 and possibly having to walk away with nothing to show for it if you don't like what they propose, then go ahead and use them (the retainer fee doesn't include sharing the fabric or furniture numbers, etc.). I really wanted that "everything looks complete", designer look. What I got was ideas for layout, furniture and window treatments with a loose promise that the details of pictures, lamps, etc. would come later (after I bought the furniture and window treatments, to which my "retainer" would apply, in pieces, so not all if I didn't buy everything they proposed). Time to complete that part of the design would have been even more. Perhaps I misunderstood what value to expect, but be warned and check the fine-print.
Description of Work: Complete interior-design service for main living and dining areas and purchase of furniture and window treatments.

 + -1 moreWHILE PRICEY, THEY WERE EXTREMELY GOOD TO WORK WITH. I HAVE WORKED WITH A COUPLE OF OTHER DECORATORS AND NONE WAS AS GOOD AS ELLEN WORTHAM. SHE HAS EXCELLENT TASTE AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT I WANTED EVEN WHEN I DIDN'T! IF I DOUBTED ONE OF HER RECOMMENDATIONS AND HESITATED TO GO ALONG WITH IT, BUT DID ANYWAY, I WAS NEVER DISAPPOINTED. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS AND OUR DECORATING GETS MANY COMPLIMENTS.

 + -1 moreWE WERE DELIGHTED. WE LIKE THE INTERIOR DESIGNER. SHE KNEW WHAT OUR LIKES WERE. SHE PRESENTED NICE FABRIC, EVERYTHING MATCHED.
Description of Work: A DESIGN OF A STUDY AND SOME OTHER ACCESSORIES IN THE HOME. THE BATHROOM WAS PAINTED AND DESIGNED.
