Over a week later I had not heard a response so I had to email to ask for an update. After that email I received another email saying they wanted to come out to give a better estimate. When they aren't excited about new work or customers that's all I need to know.

Description of Work: The only thing they did was constantly turn on and off water. Took off faucet to replace. Found there was a leak and I said "this is a repair. Not a replacement". He said "no. It's not a repair". All he did was turn off and on. Said he wouldn't charge me for this call. Never got back to me. I got someone else. Ends up it is a major repair. Leak down wall behind shower. Had to have someone else go into shower wall to repair leak. Everything else not repaired yet. I'm very disappointed

Description of Work: The job was to reseat a toilet that was rocking and leaking at the base. The plumber came and seemed to fix the problem. The next day the toilet was rocking from front to back and was not very secure to the floor. The company did respond quickly to send another crew out and it was found that the wax ring had not been replaced, the old one had been reused and another part was not in correctly. The second crew did a good job fixing the problem and it has been fine ever since. However, I would not use them again not being confident that it will be fixed right the first time.

Description of Work: I called to ask about having a garbage disposal replaced. A gentleman named Jeff answered the phone and was very helpful. He said he'd just had an opening come available for 10:00 the next morning if I was interested. We set the appointment, but 10:00 came and went the next day with no call or show. Finally at 12:40 I received a call from someone asking if I needed work on my garbage disposal. I explained that I'd expected someone at 10:00 and since they were a no show/no call, I wasn't interested in using their service. I don't know what happened, but this company has a great reputation on Angie's List so I'm guessing there was some sort of mix up.

Description of Work: I knew a water heater in a mobile home I own was on its last legs. I purchased the coupon anticipating to have it replaced using the 2 hours of labor. I was going to purchase my own water heater. After a summer of travel, I was ready. When I called J+E to schedule, they told me the coupon did not apply to water heater installation, even though 2 hours labor was enough. They offered to take $50 off a full replacement job and gave me a bid that included their brand of water heater plus labor--over $800. I am getting a second bid.

Description of Work: J & E Plumbing was great in getting me quick response and the plumber did a good job. The problem is that the Cupon did not cover the emergency response for 5 hours of unclogging kitchen sink and lateral to big stack. It ended up costing $675.00 and I can't afford to leave the $122.00 on the charge when paying the $675.00. Thanks for the quick service.

Description of Work: Provider was a "no show". Was supposed to arrive at around noon. They called and said they were running late it would be between 1:00 and 1:30 but nothing. We tried calling several times but no answer. We need a big deal refund. Buyer beware...they will waste your day.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken water heater. They came in, replaced the heater and installed connections for my humidifier units and and overflow tank. While the owner did not do the work, he did stop by while it was being done to check on the process. I would work with them again.

Description of Work: I first used J & E Plumbing for their emergency plumbing service. I discovered a crack drain pipe partially in a wall that I needed repaired. And my plastic "bathfitter" type tub (install by the previous home owner) cracked as a result of my water leak that caused the floor to move. Jeff, the owner of the company and my emergency plumber the first time, came out again to give me an estimate. He suggested, that since I was going to have to have the wall opened up, I might want to make some updates to the bathroom. They installed a new tub in one bathroom and ended up basically totally remodeling the half bath. Gary mostly took care of installing the tub, the drywall and the tile. He's very meticulous and likes things done right. Mike mostly took care of the plumbing repairs and raised my shower head up about a foot so I can now rinse the shampoo out while standing up straight. You would be amazed how happy that will make you if you're a tall person who's spent their life bending over to do that!!! I am ecstatic, over the moon happy with the results!!! Jeff, Rochelle, Gary and Mike were all true professionals. I felt very comfortable leaving them alone in my house. They completed the job as promised and then some!!! And for a great rate!!! They have left it paint ready for me. I now have much higher quality items in my bathrooms that I feel really increased the value of my home. I know just redoing the bathrooms made me like my house a whole lot more than I did! I plan to have them back to redo the kitchen!!!

Description of Work: I needed an emergency plumber for water spraying everywhere from behind the toilet in a spare bathroom. I spoke with Rochelle at J & E Plumbing, and Jeff came out that evening to take care of the problem. The problem was a pin hole in the pipe before the cut off. The time from my having to turn the water off at the main to having it back on was just a few hours. Fast, efficient service at a very reasonable rate.

Description of Work: Jeff from J & E Plumbing came out at last minute to help reconnect our kitchen faucet and parts after we had granite put in for the kitchen counter. We needed the plumbing service while the granite company was also at our home to align things correctly.Jeff was extremely responsive to our request. He arrived within the hour and was very professional and coordinated well with the staff from the granite company.

Description of Work: Jeff Eise and his assistants installed a new water heater in my basement and removed the old water heater. They were careful with the removal and didn't damage anything on the way up the stairs and out of the house. Installation involved knowledge and skills associated with water pipes and natural gas pipes. When the installation was complete, the men mopped up the water that had leaked out of the old water heater.
