The experience was excellent! The owner was very helpful from start to finish. He listened to my ideas and was very patient as we worked thru the details. He clearly explained the process so everything turned out exactly as expected. Also, very quick to respond throughout with quotes, answers to questions, etc. They actually quoted a realistic start date and didn’t leave a mess when work was done. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional, no issues and for us this was a big project. We could not be happier with Rusty and his crew. They were respectful, did high quality work and easy to work with. Rusty is very involved in all the details, on site much of the time and always available when needed to discuss changes or modifications. I have been a homeowner for 18 years and we have never dealt with contractors like Exterior Siding Solutions and probably never will again (until we use Rusty and his crew again). Rusty and his team are top-notch! We are very happy with the work preformed and would use them again on other properties. Working through the weather and being conscientious was difficult but Rusty and his fine team prevailed with superior workmanship! All of the details were addressed and really not much to question which makes customers feel good about the work preformed. As Rusty will say “ it not his first rodeo!” And we like that, someone with experience!

First and foremost, Rusty is a man of his word. He is in business for his customers, not to profit from them. He finished the job on budget, ahead of schedule and left us with a beautifully transformed exterior. Rusty had the difficult task of fixing another company’s mistakes and was able to do so seamlessly. Our expectations were exceeded and our experience was fantastic. I cannot say enough about his crew, either. They are good people, and it is clear that Rusty treats them well. Rusty was on site every day...his attention to detail and perfectionism served us well. Rusty picked up the phone right away and was really nice and very knowledgeable and professional. I was thinking of buying a house and we had some questions about the installation of the siding. He said he was going to be in the area anyway so he'd stop by and look at it. I got a call back from him a few hours later and he told me that it wasn't a big deal. It could be corrected without spending a ton of money.

They were prompt, matched our existing siding, and were reasonably priced. Job well done.

Our job went great! The siding and windows arrived on promised date and work started as scheduled. Rusty was very friendly and he was patient and helpful with the selection process and managed the job very professionally. We ordered Andersen French doors that seemed a little tricky to fit into the space of our old doors but Rusty and his installers took the time to make them fit and operate perfectly. We are very happy with the new look of our home!

Rusty (the company owner) came to the house and evaluated the job from top to bottom, asking thorough questions not just about the physical repairs we needed but also appearance preferences and other asthetics that would improve the look of our home. Since we would have all the siding off it would a good time to make some other repairs to the exterior. We were pleased that all the work could be done in a short time and his team did an exceptional job. The old siding had flaws and imperfections even before the storm and now the house looks brand new all the way around. During the work which took only a week to complete, there was no mess or debris, and they kept us posted every day as they progressed through the project.

Rusty Gregory (owner) came out and met with us on a Saturday morning. He listened to what we wanted, and had sample boards for us to choose product. He provided a ballpark estimate before he left. Rusty discussed what was and wasn't needed and what was preference vs. necessary (such as our bay window was protected by the porch and would not require new trim). We decided to recover the bay anyway - so everything matched, and we added replacing vent trim boards on the brick veneer. He also was able to expand the design and width of the trim work on the front of the house to replicate the original design look. Rusty had a good eye for what we would like, and recommended an expanded J-channel in white rather than matching the siding. The site prep was great, and workers were very neat. He laid out plywood to avoid damage, and their cleanup was very good. We have had no issue with this work, and LOVE the finished look!

We contacted Exterior Siding Solutions to provide us a bid on replacing our siding. The owner, Rusty Gregory, responded very quickly and met with us the next day. He e-mailed us a bid that evening. He was no-pressure, easy to talk to and clearly very experienced. Once we signed the contract he had the work scheduled within a month. He continued to help us during this time with advice on products, colors, etc. Before the siding work started Rusty and his assistant installed the picture window, garden window and two sliding glass doors. He was there during delivery of the dumpster and all materials. His siding crew was hard working, polite and respectful. They did clean up on an ongoing basis each day and a very thorough clean up at the end of the job. Rusty came to our house several times each day to check on the progress of the siding crew and to oversee the crew who installed the gutters. He was an excellent communicator during all stages of the project. He spent the final day doing all the detailed finish work on our porch himself. We are extremely satisfied with the finished results. Our house looks great and we have received many compliments from our neighbors. We would highly recommend Exterior Siding Solutions.

Exterior siding solutions did a great job on my house. I was in the market for new siding and windows and looked at three contractors. Exterior siding solutions was the first to respond; the owner, ‘Rusty’ made a personal visit the same day that I called. They provided a detailed estimate and broke down the costs and were very willing to work with me and explain the pricing structure. They were competitive on price with the other firms – one of the lower and much less than the highest. The quality of the work done was good and the crews were courteous. About the only minor nit I can think of is that there were some minor clean-up issues (a few nails in the yard, nothing major). They were also good on following up - there were some minor window install issues on one of the windows that we discovered after the job was finished - Rusty came out the next day free of charge and addressed them. Very easy to work with, competitive pricing, and good quality!

Service was excellent!! Rusty was able to provide helpful product information so we could make an informed decision about such a big project. Performed all work according to detailed estimate with no monetary surprises. Rusty was extremely responsive and easy to work with. He did everything he said he would, from the estimate to monitoring the work progress to final completion of the project. His crew (led by Ricky) was extremely professional and hardworking--they showed up on time everyday, work hard with few breaks, and answered any questions I had along the way. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Ricky even came out on a Saturday so the house was ready for gutters to be installed according to schedule. Rusty really cares about customer service and backs his work 100%. I would definitely recommend his company and will use them again in the future.

The owner answered the phone when I called. He was friendly and informative. He worked quickly and the job he did was perfect. The price was great. All thumbs up on this side. If I have any more siding projects, I am calling Rusty for sure.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Can't comment if price was high or low compared to others as we did not get any other bids. We felt the price was reasonable, Rusty came out to the house to give us an estimate the day after I contacted him via AL message. He advised us to wait on replacing the trim around the windows until we were ready to do new siding. He showed me samples of products and catalogues of trim and gave us a bid on the trim on the front of the house. He said it was a fill in job that they could get to by the end of October weather permitting. He called the day before they were going to fit us in. Rusty and a crew of two finished the job and cleaned everything up in 2-3 hours. They even tacked up a piece of loose siding on another side of the house that was not in the original scope of work. Would definitely recommend calling him for any size job and we plan on calling him when we are ready for new siding.

We had Exterior Siding Solutions replace our siding, trim and gutters. In addition, we worked with the owner and decided to add black shutters to the top floor windows of the house. The work was performed about 1 year ago in April of 2013. Overall they did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. Rusty, the owner, is very good to work with and clearly has a lot of experience in siding. He came out to our house to go through various color options and siding types. At no point did we feel pressured to buy anything, he just provided the pro's and con's to each application. In the end, we settled on insulated siding by Crane and chose the Clay color for the siding and Country Beige for trim. Rusty made this easy as he provided us multiple addresses of previous clients with different color combinations for us to go view. This made the color selection process so much easier. The price for the work was very reasonable at around $13,500. I priced the work out to other competitors and this company was right in the middle. Quality of work was overall good. The installers completed the job in under a week and were overall very good and cleaned everything up really well. The team made a couple of fixable errors and Rusty was very responsive to fix these items and he wouldn't rest until they were fixed to our liking. Couldn't be happier about the work. House looks great and everything is holding up well a full year later. I've attached a before picture and some after pictures so you can see the dramatic change. We had another Company replace the roof and an electrician change the front lighting.

Rusty, the owner of Exterior Siding Solutions and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. We met with 4 contractors in an effort to do our due diligence on this expensive project. None of the others who were all rated highly on Angies's list came close to the level of professionalism that Rusty displayed. Most others were more expensive (especially that company "by the lake") and the one that was not did not give us the comfort level that Rusty displayed in understanding how to properly install James Hardie siding. My husband and I had trouble deciding on a color, the next day Rusty brought out full size pieces of all the colors we were considering. He was never pushy, always professional and extremely patient. He started the job 2 days prior to when he said he would. His teams worked till dark each night. We had 2 areas on our house where the original design encouraged the water to run and stand and eventually rot the wood below. He added gutters to one area that had none and changed the design in the other area to prevent water damage in the future. There was 1 small area by our deck that Rusty wanted the finished product to look slightly different and he made his guys re-do it. It looked fine to us, however his idea was a better one. I wish we had this much success in dealing with other contractors. Rusty is now giving us pricing on siding on a rental home that we own as well. Exterior Siding solutions is our siding contractor from here on out.

Following some hail damage, we were in search of a quality contractor who could replace our roof, siding, as well as accomplish some other one-off items like soffit and trim. A quick search on Angies list narrowed my list to two providers. After meeting with both, we felt extremely comfortable with Rusty at Exterior Siding Solutions. He's been in the business a long time, and he clearly understands all the details. He was incredibly honest, refusing to even look at my insurance claim proceeds until after he had given us his bid. He looked out for my best interests, not his, which I've learned is an rarity these days. I feel he could have charged us more and or made a bigger margin, but that's not the way he does business. For him, it's simply better to drive business by word of mouth as well as reviews like this on Angies list. I never felt like I was being "sold" on anything. He simply gave me the information, and let me run with it, being completely transparent along the way. He gave us a huge list of houses to view to see his previous, and dropped off roof and siding samples when we needed them. He completed our new roof first, and then completed the siding a week or so later. I ended up going with the Craneboard 7in in Aspen White, and it looks absolutely beautiful on our traditionally styled, two story brick and siding home. Every small detail was taken care of, including things I never even thought of, like finishing the trim around our garage doors with neat and tidy aluminum. Unlike other bids, he didn't nickle and dime me for these "extras", but simply included them as "just what he always does." Very refreshing. His team also hung our new shutters and cleaned our gutters, which was definitely not a normal thing. Above and beyond. Through it all, he's been willing to wait for payment as we go through hoops to collect proceeds from the insurance company. I know insurance claims aren't the cleanest for contractors, but he's been incredibly patient, which is much appreciated. I highly recommend Rusty and Exterior Siding Solutions. Great work.

The owner, Rusty Gregory, was personally involved in the project from start to finish. From the time of our initial consultation to the last day of installation, Rusty was there to answer any questions and provide expert advice. He was also available by email and was quick to answer any questions. The crew was very professional and did a great job, leaving the yard clean and debris free at the end of each day. The house looks very nice and I am very happy with the new siding. 5/10/2015 Update Yesterday, mid afternoon on a Saturday, it was raining when I noticed water dripping on the inside of my kitchen window. I assumed the problem was connected to the siding around the window and called Rusty right away. I told him I wasn't sure if the problem was connected to the siding/window wrap or coming from somewhere else. Rusty said not to worry, that he would be over soon to see where the water was coming from. After investigating the problem by removing (and replacing) several pieces of siding around the window and finding no moisture underneath, he confirmed the problem was not related to the siding installation and that the water was possibly coming in from the roof vent above the kitchen. Rusty was correct. I called the roofing company who came out right away to reseal the roof vent. Rusty's customer service and neighborliness are wonderful and very much appreciated!

Rusty and team were very efficient and I felt at ease dealing with everyone at all times. We are extremely happy with the final product of having our home changed from old cedar siding to new vinyl siding. Looks like a new home! Also they did great work on our back porch so we can use it as more living space eventually.

Everything went great. I called Rusty on a Sunday afternoon (office closed). I had a call back Monday morning at 8am and an estimate by 6pm Monday night. All of my calls, emails, and text messages were responded to immediately. Work replacing the siding began the week after I signed the contract, took 2.5 days to complete with work team starting at 7:30 each morning. Ricky and Kyle worked on the project and Rusty was there each morning to help set up and oversee. Ricky and Kyle were polite and friendly. Quality of work done was excellent. My property is in an area with a lot of brick buildings. Rusty went through how buildings in the area had vinyl siding installed and how water would get into the area between the vinyl and the brick. He went through how this would be prevented on my home by filling the area between with waterproof foam and then installing a vinyl board the same color of the siding along the area between the brick and siding. This was then sealed at each end to make the area completely water proof.

The entire process went perfect. I got 4 bids from Angie's List and Rusty was the first with a bid and came in just a hair over the lowest bid (one company never even responded with their bid!). So glad we chose Rusty and his crew. As the owner and the salesman, Rusty could speak to the entire process and I never felt I was getting the round-around (and I'm in sales and know all of the tricks). Once we accepted the bid, they started in 2 weeks and finished up in 6 days (despite a lot of rain). Rusty was onsite every day and, because he knew I was traveling for work, even text me pictures of the progress. The colors and design he suggested are perfect. Then, to top it all of, just when I thought we couldn't work out a way to change up the design with the gables because of the roof line of the first story, Rusty came up with a custom fix that was perfect. We went from having one of the ugliest houses on our street because of the old damaged shingles to one of the nicest. Most of our neighbors and people just walking by have commented on the work. We are extremely happy with the finished job and very thankful we chose to work with Rusty.
