Description of Work: We were working with this company last fall, the weather was cold and it was not a good time to do the project we were needing done. In Feb I received this email: I hope this email find your family and you well! "I just wanted to inform you of a discount of $250 we are providing until the end of this week. This discount is for providing us a commitment to hire us to completeyour concrete work. The last conversation we had, we discussed it would be best to hold off until the spring of this year. I just wanted to throw this out there for you, as we know every little bit helps! In addition, we only offer the discount during this time of the year. If you have any questions, or if I may be of any assistance, please contact me." We agreed to set up the project as they were offering us a $250 discount. When I reviewed the contract closely right before getting ready to sign and begin the project I see that he had lied about the square footage of our porch. Back in the fall it was 208ft2 and now he was charging us for 225ft2. He also raised the price from $6.00 ft2 to $6.25, the driveway was increased from $8 to $8.50, the piers were increased from $250 a pier to $300 a pier and the roof stabilizing went from $500 to $650 and then he added $882 to remove the existing driveway which was included in the fall! Nice $250 discount. The price increased by over $3000! They are not trustworthy!
