 + -1 moreI initially found Countertops and More in a flyer. I sent an email asking for an "estimate" based on a picture of a kitchen in a home we hadn't even moved into yet. Paul was on the project and communicated with me via email until I was ready to make my decision. Once we moved in, he came back, estimated the countertops, talked to me about his concerns, sent his partner back, and finally the measurements were taken. A few weeks later both Brian and Paul came to install my top. They were first-class, professional, and stayed until the project was complete. They left the kitchen neat and clean. When we had an issue with the refrigerator after they had gone, they gladly came back to help me out.
Description of Work: We recently moved into a new home with an all white kitchen. We decided to add a coat of paint for color and a new countertop. Unfortunately, we didn't have the money for granite or stone. We choose a beautiful laminate which was installed by Countertops and More.

 + -1 moreOverall, craftsmanship is OK. There is a small chip at the bottom of the joint. My pet peeve though is that they did not bevel, or smooth off the bottom edge of the undermount sink. The templating was done fine and the joint is well fitted. The big problem was in the coordination of the work. The estimated 3-4 weeks for completion ran about seven weeks. The irritating thing was that we were blamed for the delays instead of CounterTops & More, taking ownership of the problems and just getting the work done. While the owner can be reasonable, at times of anxiety, he has a temper and is quite argumentative and abusive.
Description of Work: We had them install 75 sq. ft. of granite countertops on our new cabinets.

 + -1 moreThis is only a 2 man operation. Both Paul and Brian were very polite and respectful, punctual and had a great work ethic. Their goal was for my wife and I to be no less than 100% pleased with the job. Paul uses e-mail, so it was always easy to contact him. He always responded to us quickly. They cleaned up after themselves nicely.
Description of Work: My wife wanted new granite countertops in our kitchen to replace the original Formica. Paul first came out as scheduled to measure and followed up promptly with a detailed email of the installation procedure and options for consideration. They were the only company we looked at that offered to do the tear out and disposal of existing tops for a very reasonable price. Therefore, we did not have to either find someone else or try ourselves to take off the original countertops. By them doing the tear off the same day as installation, we were able to use our kitchen up until the day of installation. They arranged for us to pick out the granite slabs we wanted, measured and templated for fabrication and installed in 1 1/2 days. Beautiful job. My wife is thrilled with the result and how easy it was to work with Paul and Brian. I highly recommend Countertops & More.
