CLEARVIEW WINDOWS and SIDING

After getting a recommendation for Marc and Clearview Windows, I reached out for an estimate and got a prompt reply on what I needed as well as contact information for his project manager. Within a short period of time we had the windows measured and ordered and they arrived within the timeframe we were quoted. Marc's installers did a great job removing the old windows and getting the new ones in place, even with needing to work around board and batten siding. The windows look great and are a major improvement over the originals.

Marc came to our house and gave an estimate to replace 12 windows in our home. He was on time, knowledgeable and always professional. He also went above and beyond and gave me an estimate on siding my home when asked, even though that is not what I called him out for. Once we decided to go with Clearview for our window replacement, he came back out to let us know how the process would work. The windows are double-hung and high-end vinyl and operate as smooth as silk and look fantastic. Marc, Tim, Brad and the crew could not have done a better job. Very pleasant folks and they had them installed in about three hours time. We look forward to ClearView installing additional new windows for us and have already recommended then to a couple of our friends.

There is a term in building and remodeling called "best practice". From our initial phone consultation, to on site inspection, to installation Marc hit all the key points. Marc was extremely quick replying to phone and email questions throughout the process. Marc didn't push products, his goal from the beginning was to inform and guide us in getting the products we wanted and that fit our budget. Marc has an extensive network of building suppliers which was a fantastic resource to find the products we wanted. Marc and his crews were always on time, skillful and hard working, and were cautious when working to not damage existing finishes - which can be a concern on any remodel project. Marc and his crew replaced 8 windows, patio door, and repaired the rear siding facade on our house. We wouldn't hesitate to use Marc again on future projects.

The job went very well. Because of the professionalism of Marc Kabak (Owner) and everyone on his crew I asked for recommendations for other contractors in area's that I did not have good contacts. So far I've used his electrical recommendation twice and have also be very satisfied with their work as well.

Mr. Marc Kabac came to my home to discuss the job that I wanted done. He took enough time to be sure he was clear on what I wanted and that I had any questions answered about his company's product and installation. He then followed up with sending me a proposal which was clearly presented and priced a couple different options for me as I had requested. He checked back with me when I did not re-contact him immediately due to my own procrastination with the project. Ultimately, his company replaced 9 windows for me including putting in a new garden window in my kitchen. The windows have a lifetime transferable warranty including warranty for 25 years against accidental glass breakage. The installation included expanding foam as opposed to fiberglass insulation. The work crew was timely, courteous, and easy to have on the job. They cleaned up well after the job. Mr. Kabac came by personally as they were nearing finishing and checked on each installment. He immediately picked up that two of the screens has tiny pinholes that must have occurred in the packaging. He pointed these out to me, as I had not noticed them, and let me know he would immediately re-order the screens and have them in in about two weeks. This was accurate, and he then sent out someone to install them. He also checked back in the next couple days to be sure I was happy with the work completion. Mr. Kabac was personable an pleasant to work with and I am pleased with the finished job.

I've used Clearview on 4 jobs over a 12 year period totaling about $15,000 and was completely happy with their work. A piece of soffit and siding came loose a couple years after installation on 2 occasions and was repaired promptly. Bobby, Justin and Kenny did a great job on 2 homes that had considerable height. The work was done quickly and professionally and the crew was easy to deal with. Marc was out most days to monitor the work. He worked with me prior to installation on an exact color match and type of material to be used. Price was competitive and Marc instills confidence that the work will be done right.

Mark came out on a very timely basis and estimated the cost of the work which turned out to be the low bid I received. Mark's crew were very professional during the installation and cleaned up after the job was done. Because of the way the roof had been installed in parts of the house, we had some problems when we had heavy downpours. The crew quickly came back out and installed some flashing which helped solve the problem. Later this summer, I needed some quick help at my daughter's house on a small item and his crew came out quickly and fixed this problem as well. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs new gutters, soffits, fascia, etc.

Clearview did a great job for us. Marc was very hands on with our project.. willing to meet face to face as often as needed to answer our questions and deliver sample products... punctual in answering emails... and visited the site numerous during the construction.. checking on the progress and making himself available with any of our concerns.

Clearview did a great job with our big job. We were putting a deck on the house at the same time and Marc was willing to work with our Deck company to coordinate tear down and install timing to coincide with the siding installation. We were also installing a new door, which was coming in a few weeks after the siding install job was complete. The Clearview team was willing to come back out to finish wrapping the new door molding 4+ weeks after the rest of the job was done. Very impressed with the level of service & attention. Price was very competitive to the 2 other quotes I got.

Clearview was one of 3 bidders to replace windows and install vinyl siding, soffit, fascia and on our home. The Clearview bid was not the lowest, but was the most comprehensive and most compliant of the proposals I received. Owner Marc Kabak was very thorough in understanding our needs and providing a thorough proposal and was obviously committed to customer satisfaction. Both window/patio door (Ply Gem Premium Vinyl) and siding (Crane Solid Core) installations went very well, and were accomplished in a very timely manner. It went great. Marc came to my house several times. He thoroughly explained everything and made sure I understood what I was getting. He was very helpful in helping me pick out the type of siding that would not only fit my need but also my budget. When I had additional questions, before and after the contract was signed, I just emailed him and he responded within a couple of hours. He kept me informed every step of the project and made sure I was satisfied with the way things were progressing and the quality of the work. We had an excellent experience with Clearview Windows and Siding from start to finish. Mark Kabak came out and inspected our house and prepared his proposal for siding, soffit/fasicia and new gutters. The proposal was very thorough and he provided some options for us to consider. I knew his quote was good because I received quotes from two other highly rated contractors. It was also comforting that Clearview had installed siding, soffit/fascia, and gutters for one of my neighbors. They were extremely satisfied with the work that was done so we chose Mark and Clearview. There was no sales pressure during the entire process. A few years ago another company came to my house, staying here for two plus hours using high pressure tactics to get me to sign. There is none of this with Clearview. We had a hard time deciding on colors. Once we had narrowed it down to two possibilities, Mark gave me the addresses of houses done in those colors that we could drive by to see. The siding manufacturer also had a great website where we could mix and match colors. All this was very helpful. The installation was awesome. His crew was on time, they paid attention to detail and did a great job. Questions that I had along the way were answered promptly and in a friendly manner. The end result is that we have a 30 year old two-story house that looks brand new. We highly recommend Clearview Windows and Siding.

We knew when we purchased our home a few years ago that we would need new siding. We had the fiberboard siding that was part of the big recall, and the bottom couple runs were badly deteriorating as was some of the fascia trim boards along the roof line. The work we wanted to be performed was to install .44 vinyl siding (no real preference on brand) over our existing siding, install soffits and fascia and replace all gutters with high capacity gutters and gutter guards. As part of the siding project, we asked that they replace all window trim and shutters, install new ridge vents, flash over our the exposed brick ledge and install PVC window headers above 4 front windows. We only had them tear off the bad lengths of siding and leave the rest, the vinyl was placed over the old siding. In planning for this project, I scoured Angie's List and got 8 bids from the top A rated companies with the highest number of reviews. It took a couple months to schedule all of the appointments, but it was worth it. The lowest bidder came in around $16,500 and the highest was $32,000. Clearview was one of the higher rated companies that came in with one of the lowest bids. Clearview was on of the earlier estimate appointments, so we were still refining what exactly we wanted. From the initial meeting (which was easy to schedule through Angie's List), i was very comfortable with Marc (the owner). He personally came out to get the specs of the project that would make up the estimate. I walked him around the house and told him our plan. He offered up a number of great suggestions that I had not thought of and had him add them to the bid. The estimate itself took a few days. After receiving the remainder of the bids, it was an easy decision to make. Clearview had great reviews and a competitive bid. Marc came back to the house with the final contract to talk through some last minute details and discuss project timing. We gave him a deposit for 1/3 of the project and he left us with color samples. Over the next couple weeks we had a few changes and clarifications that we handled via email. The project was scheduled to start at the beginning of March, but didn't get started until a couple weeks later. Siding projects are weather dependent, so any delays for weather pushes everyone. Materials were staged in the driveway and we knew this ahead of time. Once the crew got started they worked quickly. They cleaned up as best they could after each day, but there will likely be a few stray nails and cuttings here and there. Any questions they or I had were quickly addressed. All decisions that needed to be made by us were known well in advance through an email or phone call from Marc. Between Marc and the project manager, there was someone available to answer questions and address concerns, and they were always quick to respond. Overall the project was estimated to take 2.5 weeks, but ended up taking about 3.5 due to weather. In the end, the house looks amazing... like new. We've even had people stop by and comment on how good it looks. I highly recommend Clearview to anyone in need of new siding, we couldn't be happier.

The crew from Clearview were helpful and professional from start to finish. Marc guided us through the selection process with great patience and allowed us to have all our questions and concerns addressed before any contract was signed. The install crew were on- time, polite and professional. There were no problems in adjusting their work and equipment placement to accommodate our work schedules and daily activities. They cleaned up thoroughly every day and completely when the job was finished. The resulting work looks and performs great. A very nice improvement to our home. This wasnt the cheapest bid we received but we are very pleased with the final project.

Marc Kabac was very helpful in guiding my choices for this project. He arrived for estimates and follow-up meetings as promised and on time. The cost estimates were spot on with no surprises. The installation crew was polite and thorough. They cleaned up every day and completed the job on time. The finished job looks beautiful. It's really neatened up the appearance of my home and I've seen several frustrated squirrels express their disappointment with their lack of access to my gutters and roof overhang.
