CITY & COUNTY TREE SVC

This company does not return phone calls when they know there is a problem. This company does not protect bushes and trees that might be in the way of falling limbs. This company does not clean up all the wood shavings that come from cutting down a tree. They disrupt freshly laid mulch and make no effort to put back in the order they found it. This company knocks down wires and makes no apology for lost internet service. This company kills bushes and cracks branches off trees with no apology. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. The actual service was done on my neighbors trees and my yard was violated. If you wish to keep good relationships with your neighbors, do not hire this company. If you hope to keep your adjacent trees, bushes, and/or wires to the home safe....do NOT hire this company.

You don't get scheduled you get a call the day they plan to come. The crew was very good, making short work of the tree and guiding each branch to the ground safely. They laid down plywood to protect the yard from the machine used to take it away. The stump probably should have been cut shorter to reduce grindings left behind but the stump was ground down the following day. I think the grinder did a good job. I can't really tell just yet because a week after being told guys would be sent back to clean up, I'm still working to remove the grindings myself. I'm talking cubic yards of grindings. The mistake was paying in full before the whole job was done. Lesson learned.

George and his team were total pros..they came in emergency situation and worked from 6pm till 1am. George is a reasonable and honest man..I would hire him again at the drop of a hat...he also did our neighbors tree service the week before...

The bid and cutting process went well. However, there was a hawk's nest in one of the trees prohibiting work from being done. I paid in full, and owner George MacDonald signed paperwork saying he would return five months later to finish the final tree once the Hawks had left. Now, it is 5 months passed his promised return date, and he will not answer phone calls or return messages. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. Use them at your own peril.

First of all City County Tree Service was the low price bid out of five others by $300. They showed up and went right to work. It's fun to watch people that know what they're doing. The cutter up in the tree was quick and efficient and knew his stuff whittling this huge tree down to size. Two others on the ground kept moving limbs and logs into the grinder. Plus two more later to grind the stump and roots. They worked a solid six hours until dark and cleaned things up pretty good that day but returned the next day and spent a couple more hours according to neighbors just cleaning up and hauling away excess debris from the site making the ground as flat as possible. I came home to a completely cleaned up yard, driveway, street and even my neighbors yards were cleaned up of any stray wood chips. A divot where the tree trunk fell was filled in as well. I have another Sweet Gum in my back yard that I hate and when the time and money come these will be the guys I call. I don't usually write reviews but maybe I should especially when they are as deserved as this one. There is nothing sexy about an expenditure like this to have something removed. You don;t get to bring home anything shiny and new but when its done well it makes it more fun than you might think and at least makes you feel it was money well spent. Great job!

Great. They do really good work. They don't do anymore less than what they talked to you and agree on what they are going to recommend. They won't do anymore than what you authorize them to do. They're quick and efficient and their clean up is great. You can't even tell they've been here. Definitely we will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Highly recommend this company! We've hired George on 3 occasions to help us with our high maintenance yard. He is an incredibly knowledgable arborist and clearly loves what he does. Very fair pricing with prompt service and quality work. We have no reason to go to anybody else!
