+ -1 moreIt went well. We've had a bad experience with a different repair situation but they were on time. They were pleasant and accurate. They got it right the first time. The cost was reasonable.

+ 4 moreI have been employing Dan on a regular basis for approximately 10 years. He is very trustworthy and courteous. He is able to do quite a variety of jobs: plumbing, painting, electrical, floor installation, and more. His prices may seem a little higher compared to others, but he is definitely worth it. I can always count on him to respond quickly and work professionally.
Description of Work: Dan refurbished 4 closets and installed new shelving in each one. He also replace 2 bathroom vanities. He purchased the new ones for me, conducting research into various options on his own time. He also provided electrical and plumbing service for minor problems.

+ -1 moreDAN'S NAME WAS GIVEN TO US BY A RELIABLE NEIGHBOR WHO SPOKE VERY HIGHLY OF HIM CONCERNING HIS BROAD RANGE OF ABILITY, HONESTY, AND REASONABLE, AND FAIR PRICING. WE FOUND HIM TO BE JUST THAT. HE HAS FINISHED THE WORK MENTIONED HERE BUT WE HAVE GIVEN HIM A TWO PAGE LIST OF OTHER MISCELLANEOUS HOME REPAIRS WE NEED DONE. INSTALLING ELECTRICAL SOCKETS, CEILING FANS, REPAIRING BROKEN SLIDING DOOR LATCHES, CEILING TILES, AND MORE and VARIOUS. I WILL REPORT ON THOSE WHEN COMPLETED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAN FOR ANY HOME NEEDS. HE IS WONDERFULLY RESPONSIVE TO PHONE CALLS, PROMPT COURTEOUS, AND CONSCIENTIOUS. AS WE ARE OUT OF STATE FOR A FEW MONTHS IT IS WONDERFUL TO FIND SOMEONE WE CAN TRUST TO DO THE WORK, AND NOT WORRY ABOUT IT.
Description of Work: CAULK SHOWERS, REPAIR LIFTING VINYL BY BATHTUB, AND VARIOUS GENERAL MAINTENANCE. I LIKED THAT DAN NOTICED A PARTICULAR PROBLEM BY THE TUB NEEDING FIXED, HE DID. I WAS SO HAPPY BECAUSE I FORGOT TO TELL HIM ABOUT THAT SPECIFIC THING. IT WASN'T 'MAKE WORK', BUT DAN HAD COMMON SENSE TO KNOW THAT IF WE WANTED THE REPAIRS WE LISTED DONE THEN SURELY WE'D WANT THE VINYL FLOORING TACKED DOWN WHERE IT WAS LIFTING BY THE TUB. WE HAVE NOT BEEN BILLED YET AS I GAVE HIM A TWO PAGE LIST OF MORE WORK TO DO AFTER WE SAW HOW CONSCIENTIOUS, AND WELL HE WORKED. HE JUST TOLD US TO WAIT, AND HE'D BILL ONCE. IS THAT REMARKABLE? WE EXPECT THE TOTAL BILL TO BE AROUND $500. FOR WE HAVE GONE OVER THE WORK BY PHONE. I WILL UPDATE WHEN FINALIZED.
