I was returning home in hot weather with a rescue dog from a veterinarian appointment, and I realized when I got to the door that I had locked myself out. Greg was incredibly responsive, not at all far away, and completely reasonable for what he charged. I don’t think he realized it, but he really did save the day. 5/5 would call him again! Thank you so much!
Description of Work: I needed access to my door, which I had locked myself out of. Keys were cut quickly, and I was back in my home in minutes. Thank you so much!

+ -1 moreI called C & R at approximately 10 am on a Tuesday asking if they work with locks on file cabinets. We are a small busines and one of our file cabinets is locked and we could not get in. They said they would send someone out that day. It is now 11 am on Wednesday and we have not seen anyone nor heard from them. We will not be contacting them again.

+ -1 moreI locked my keys in my car while it was running inside my garage. The technician called back within 5 minutes of contacting the company. He told me it would be 40 minutes before he could get there. It was closer to an hour. Once he arrived, the job was completed in less than 5 minutes. He was pleasant and offered me some advice for future reference. I gave him a lower rating because of the amount of time that I had to wait with my car running. I also thought the price was a little high considering the amount of work that had to be done and that he didn't arrive until after 9:00 a.m. which was within normal business hours.
Description of Work: Unlocked car door to retrieve the keys from inside.

Description of Work: The day we moved into our house they came over and changed all our new home locks. Greg called before he came to see if he can come early. Work was done quickly and very professionally. Greg even gave us extra keys at a reasonable price. What made the service special was the advise and his knowledge of the profession. Our family feel a lot safer thanks to Greg. Small company with personal service and genuine care.

+ -1 moreI am very satisfied with the results. Ron, the owner, scheduled the serviceman for when I would be home and available. The serviceman was very professional and knowledgable (Greg, I think), and very helpful. I did call the morning of the appointment to confirm the approximate arrival time of the serviceman. The whole process went quickly and smoothly.
Description of Work: I recently moved to a condo in the Chesterfield / Balwin area. I needed to get all of my locks "re-keyed" for safety, and extra keys made. This included keys to the secure main entry of the building and my mailbox. Entry door to my personal unit had different keys for top and bottom lock. Also, there are two rear entry doors leading to a patio, each with a dead bolt and lock. One of my keys opened only one lock on one of the patio doors, and none of my keys opened the rest of the locks on the patio doors. The service man / locksmith inspected all the locks, suggested what I needed, and changed everything within a very reasonable amount of time. He also made the extra keys I requested that he was able to provide on site. Later I went by the main office and had extras made of the other specialty keys (main entry and mailbox) . The owner of the business, Ron Schwartz, and his daughter quickly, and accurately, made these.

+ -1 moreMy 17-yr-old son locked the car key and remote in our 626, which we had bought used with only one key (and lacking the key code, hadn't tried to make a spare key, yet). My State Farm agent does business with this company and referred me to them. I called about 1:30 pm from work. They had just accepted another car job, called back when they finished it, and met my son at our car at 3 pm. It took about a minute to open the door and he let my son pay with a charge card. It was quick and efficient; I'd use them again.
