 + -1 moreWe agreed on $70 and I paid that. They later sent me an invoice of $190 telling me that this is the labor charge for searching the Water meter for 2 hours using a metal detector. This cost was never discussed, they just invoiced me out of the blue. Since then, I have emailed them 6 times and called them around 7 times to discuss this however they have not responded in anyway. I finally am leaving this review for you all to share my experience. As of today, I am still waiting to discuss hear from them.
Description of Work: I hired them to winterize my irrigation system.

 + -1 moreI never received a cost estimate for #2 above despite sending an email and a letter requesting the information. Then recently we had a leak in the system and called him 2Xs and left 2 messages and he never returned my calls
Description of Work: 2 things #1 to open up the system for the season which I paid him for even though he said no money was needed as he was going to include this cost in performing #2 - which was fine #2 to survey the feasibility of expanding/modifying the current system which he indicated was easy to accomplish and would not be very expensive

Description of Work: Koray was great . Had a valve box issue and saved me about $200 as all it needed was a valve. Other companies would probably charged over $250 to re-build the box. I will definitely do more business with BIS

 + -1 moreI have used Koray for basic service and he is always prompt and responsive. This time I needed a bigger job do to some landscaping working I needed done. Koray repaired damaged lines, changed out heads, and extended current ilnes to cover more area. While other companies explained I might need a whole new system Koray assured me this wouldn't be the case and he was right. I have recommended Koray to friends and family and will continue to do so.
Description of Work: Service the system, backflow test, repair broken lines, extend current lines, and change broken heads.

He worked steadily, wasted no time and thoroughly explained everything he did while educating me on the functions and operation of the system. I requested that he add me to his customer list for winterizing the system. I enthusiastically recommend Ballwin Irrigation Services. Capable, quality service providers need to be acknowledged and supported.
Description of Work: I selected Ballwin Irrigation from Angie's List and made a call to describe the perceived problem with my lawn irrigation system. I spoke with Koray who listened carefully, offered an alternative opinion and suggested that the issue was easily corrected. I arranged for a service call, he called on the appointed day to confirm, arrived on time and corrected the initial problem in under 5 minutes. Thereafter, he checked out the operation of the system and discovered a leak in one of the zones. He repaired the leak and improved the connection to the irrigation head, provided me with a tutorial on the operation of the system (I just moved here from out of state) and was done in about an hour.

 + -1 moreThis was the second time that they did a job for me. They were excellent. The owner was the one who came out and he was very professional. He explained all of the steps that he was doing. He explained what could have caused the problem and what to look for if it happens again and he fixed it. He did well in terms of communication. He was very respectful and polite.
