We went way over his bid of seventy thousand dollars because we hit rock. Any excavation bid is quoted in such a manner that when you hit rock, all bets are off. As far as the quality of their work, he did not read prints accurately therefore he made mistakes. The thickness of the walls was incorrect. He gave me an estimate just to decide whether we were going to put a basement in the spring that was total fiction. If I had an accurate idea of the incremental cost of putting a basement in that structure, we would not have done it because it was probably three to four times more expensive than his estimate. He did not do some of the work because he bailed on the job. He got into a conflict with my general contractor. The concrete that was to go across the basement floor, he did not perform it and they had somebody else perform it. He cost us a bunch of money and the building came out slightly the wrong size.

Atlas Concrete Contractors replaced half of our driveway. They renewed the concrete and did repairs. Our overall experience was good and we will use them again in the future.
