They were punctual, professional and left everything clean. They also checked chimney top.

Chimney was not entirely cleaned and company said that a fire could happen in our house if we did not tuckpoint some interior portions immediately. We had a second and third opinion, both said that indeed there was some work to be done, but no, it would not start a fire and their quote were both a 1/3 of what we were quoted.

Their price was on-par. It was good. It was the same as everybody else. They did not make a mess so that was good.

I left them a message last night but they didn't call me back. I called them again mid-morning. I spoke to a woman who told me that they only do repair work when it is their slow season - springtime. She went on to tell me that the water intrusion was probably just due to the wind. I would feel a lot more comfortable with a service call to conduct an actual analysis of the issue but she refused to schedule one and hung up on me instead. Back to Angie's List to find another option...

They did a great job both times. The man who cleaned the chimney on 10/9/2012 was courteous and professional. He cleaned up his work area after he finished, also.

Ash Wipers arrived on schedule and cleaned the chimney, answered all our questions, and left the room spotless. Very efficient and friendly and very reasonably priced. My daughter and I just wish they had t-shirts we could buy!!!

It was a very good consumer experience. Keith arrived exactly when he was scheduled to. He spent some time looking at the system and answering questions I had. I have not used a fireplace before, so I had many questions. He helped me understand the system and now I'll feel very comfortable using it. He even offered a few suggestions for things I could do myself to improve my fireplace. He moved swiftly and finished quickly, but I never felt rushed. I'll totally be calling the Ash Wipers again.

My husband wanted the chimneys in our new house cleaned right away so that we could have a fire in the fireplace as soon as possible. I called several places which had long waits. Ash Wipers was able to schedule service within a week due to a cancellation. They provided advance pricing and polite phone reminders. The two men who came arrived in the first half of the window provided, went straight to work, and completed their work quickly. They draped the floor, cleaned after themselves and left no mess. There were no extra charges over the estimate.

After ash wipers did the work i had another company come do some repair chimney work for me and they told me that the chimney needed to be cleaned. They showed me that the chimney was not as clean as it could have been and that there were two different ways to clean a chimney and that brush method didnt as clean as it could have been. Ash wipers recommendation for repair was kind of a band-aid fix instead of fixing it completely. I did not have them do the repair job. I would not recommend them.

I call Ashwipers annually to inspect and clean my chimney. Theyre always on time, professional, and they clean up after the job is done.

I paid for 2 guys to do the job when I only needed one. One guy cleaned the chimney while the other guy poked around and pointed out every minor thing that looked like it might need repaired. If you only need a cleaning this is not the company for you.

Our chimney caps were damaged by fallen limbs and as a result we also got an animal nest in out flue. Charlotte was very helpful and friendly on the phone. At first, they weren't going to be able to do our job because we have a slate roof, but once they determined that the chimney was accessible without walking on the roof, Charlotte called me back (after hours) and got someone there much quicker than our second choice company. The sweeps were on time and reasonably friendly, did a pretty quick job, and they charged what they said.

Ash wipers did a good job. They were prompt. They inspected the chimney covers, animal guards, fireboxes, hearths, smoke chambers, smoke shelves, lintels and dampers. They cleaned both chimneys. They did not make a mess.

I was very happy with the prompt service. My furniture was moved away from the soot and my carpets covered and protected. After he was done, he moved everything back. He did not try to sell me extra services, and he pointed out areas that may need to be worked on at a later date. He also suggested the best time of year to get it done is when companies are not as busy and more likely to give a good deal to get the business.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE. RECEIVED NEXT DAY SERVICE. NOT SURE IF THAT WAS A GOOD THING AS THIS MAY INDICATE THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE MUCH OF A CUSTOMER BASE OR I CALLED DURING A SLOW TIME OF THE YEAR. THEY WERE NOT PUSHY AND HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY REMOVED AN OLD FURNACE STACK FROM A COMBUSTIBLE FURNACE THAT WAS NO LONGER NEEDED. THEY LEFT THE REMOVED MATERIALS IN THE YARD. WE DID NOT AGREE UPON REMOVAL SOMETHING THAT WILL BE DISCUSSED WITH THE NEXT CONTRACTOR.

THE WORKERS FROM ASH WIPERS WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND COURTEOUS. THEY MADE RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT REPAIRS MY CHIMNEYS WOULD NEED IN THE FUTURE, BUT DID NOT PRESSURE ME INTO DOING ANYTHING RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION.

THE CHIMNEY SWEEP CALLED TO SAY HE WOULD BE A FEW MINUTES LATE. HE WAS POLITE, DID GOOD WORK, WAS NOT PUSHY ABOUT SELLING TUCK POINTING SERVICES, AND LEFT THE WORK AREA CLEAN.

AFTER MUCH SEARCHING FOR A CHIMNEY SWEEP COMPANY WITHOUT ANGIE'S LIST, I FINALLY SUBSCRIBED, AND WAS GLAD I DID. ASH WIPERS WAS RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL, SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

I HATED THE NAME, BUT THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. PROMPT AND REASONABLY PRICED, TOO.

THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE DONE BUT WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE A BIG MESS.

THEY WERE VERY, VERY CLEAN. THEY CLEANED UP VERY NICELY AFTER THEMSELVES. VERY TIMELY AND GOOD CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION.
