ADVANCE CARPET ONE

The company pre cuts each room's / hallway prior to having the installers arrive. They should have reviewed where the seams would be going in each part of the home with us in advance. We would have NEVER agreed to have a very long seam -about 20' long to be placed at our entry way, the main traffic path in our home down the length of the main family room. The seam is very visible in low light. In fact, it looks like a mole run. We called the company and they asked us to wait 30 days to see if the seams would lay flatter. They have not. They sent out someone who looked at the seams to determine if they where joined properly. He used a carpet tractor and cut some of the carpet pile with scissors to make the pile shorter at the seams. His opinion is that "it looks fine." People that come into our home mention how noticeable the longest seam is because it is peaking like a mole run. The "repair" person the company sent out told us to call our sales person back, but she was curt when we initially called to complain. We purchased very expensive Saxony plush carpet and I am very unhappy about the appearance of the longest seam, as well as a few others which are also noticeable. We plan to call another highly rated carpet company to get their expert opinion on the seam work, but I would Never use this company again.
