Description of Work: Dropped off power washer due to issues with the engine. They told me that they would have done in two weeks and would call. After two weeks and no call, I called them and only got answering machine. Called back numerous times with only answer machine. I drove to store to find that they had left on vacation. I called again after vacation with only answering machine. Returned to store and was told that they were still working on problem and would call in two weeks. Cycle above was repeated. Drove to store after three more weeks and was told that they could not fix machine. Wasted my summer task waiting for them. Only good news is that they did not charge me the $35 evaluation fee. First Angie List provider that disappointed me!

Description of Work: Performed a preventative maintenance of my gas-powered push mower. |They were a couple days longer than communicated, but beginning of Spring was probably poor planning on my part. Graded the price as a "C" because they were average with other companies I called. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. Mower is running great so far.

 + -1 moreThe owner told me the price of the repair before hand and told me when he would be able to pick the machine up. He was there as expected and returned it as expected. The price was correct. I used the machine this summer and it performed perfectly. I will be sure to go back to Aand M again to have my maintenance work performed.

I called 4 days later and the 3 items were ready to pick up. While I was there, I found a zero-turn mower that would suit my needs. I will be back in a couple of weeks to buy a Gravely from him. I had a great experience.

 + -1 moreI called A and M this morning and left a message to see if there was any possibility of getting my snow blower serviced in anticipation of a big snow storm this coming Saturday night / Sunday morning. A and M called back and offered to service it today if I brought it in to the shop. I mentioned that I had no way to bring it in, I needed it picked up. A and M said they'd do some checking and get back to me. They called back a little later and said they could pick it up around noon. They did so. They repaired it and delivered it to me at about 6:00PM. I'm grateful and impressed.

 + -1 moreWhen I brought the tiller to the store, I described it's age and recent poor running condition. I was told they would evaluate the machine and see if it was able to be serviced, or whether it was too far gone. The evaluation charge was clearly posted, and I was also verbally told about the charge. If the machine was too far gone, I'd just have the evaluation charge to pay. If it was worth fixing, they would fix it. Ultimately, it was in fairly good condition. I was called and said it was serviced and ready to be picked up.
Description of Work: I had them evaluate a very under-maintained Mantis tiller. They serviced it and it is running well.

 + -1 moreDid pick up mower on time and return it when they said they would. Did get work done in a reasonable amount of time. Price was reasonable and less then one other place had quoted after seeing mower. Mower is running very well.

 + -1 moreThey cleaned up the fuel system and told me what I should do in the future to prevent it from getting gummed up again. They were pretty quick in that I had the generator back within about 4 or 5 days. I was happy with their service and will use them again when my lawnmower needs a tune-up.
Description of Work: I had a generator that wouldn't start after pulling it out of storage. They diagnosed that the fuel system was gummed up with old gas from being in storage and cleaned it up.
