Description of Work: We tried to get a quote for painting.

Description of Work: The team was responisve, courteous, knowledgeable, timely and neat. And while they were more costly than other painters I had used, I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Painted the interior walls and trim on a short notice. We decided to rent a small house and had only one month before painting was needed. I searched for someone who appeared to have good ratings and who could help on a short notice.

Description of Work: That was interior painting. They have 2 quotes of quality paint, a very good quality contract. But there are free bedrooms, living room, kitchen, cathedral type ceilings, and 3 bathrooms. They painted the garage and a lot.

Description of Work: I called Shane to see about having his team paint our condo unit, not realizing his business is about 2 hours from where we are. He was very helpful and resourceful about how to find (blindly) a good local painting company. He also said that if we don't find someone we are happy with, to call him back, and that he'd be willing to work out an arrangement to get his guys to our area.

Description of Work: Mr Garrett was prompt in returning phone calls and giving us a written bid. He was straightforward and frank in discussing the project. He said his bid would probably be higher than other painters and told us the quality of his work was excellent and we could verify that with the paint supply company. He was right on both counts. A paint store employee told us that he does good work and we would be happy if we hired him. Unfortunately his bid was high, and since cost was a limiting factor for us, we decided to go with another painter.

Description of Work: I requested a bid from Garrett Painting to paint the exterior of my home. While Garrett's bid was the highest I received, the scope of the work was more than other companies. My old home has paint peeling off ... a LOT ... Garrett's bid included sanding the siding boards smooth where paint peels left ridges from the old coats of paint. "Shane" explained to me that the sanding would likely add quite a bit to the price but that I would be much happier with the results. I believe him ... if you've ever seen a home repainted without sanding the potholes smooth, you know what I mean. Shane came to my house about a week after I requested a bid [by email]. It was another week before I got the bid physically in my hand. Shane was courteous and obviously knew his business. I only wish I could have afforded Garrett's services as I believe it would have done the best job ... but as it is, even the lowest bid I received was twice what I could afford. I'm going to have to do the job myself simply because I can't afford to pay anyone to do it.
