basement waterproofing
+ -1 moreTHE HOME WAS BUILT AROUND 1900. WITH THE RECENT HEAVY RAINS, WATER WAS GETTING INTO THE FOUNDATION. THEY CAME EARLY IN THE MORNING AND LEFT AROUND 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON, WITH A LUNCH BREAK. THEY WORKED AS WELL AS COULD BE EXPECTED, PERHAPS BETTER! WHILE HERE THEY DISCOVERED AND INFORMED ME THAT A BASEMENT DRAIN HAD A BROKEN CLAY PIPE. (I GOT A PLUMBER TO FIX THE PROBLEM).
Description of Work: INSTALLED NON-SLIP CONCRETE-LIKE WALKWAY FLUSH AGAINST HOME TO PREVENT RAIN WATER FROM SEEPING INTO BASEMENT AND FOUNDATION. ALSO INSTALLED PIPES FOR FIRST FLOOR BATHROOM AND APPLIED A WATER PROOF COATING ON INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR BASEMENT WALLS.
