Description of Work: These folks are OUTSTANDING!! My daughter and her family used this ABC Quality Moving Services on 5/28/16. We were HIGHLY IMPRESSED with their service on several levels. So, when on 6/15/16, we also needed a quality mover we called on ABC for our own move. From start to finish, EXCEPTIONAL! The temperature that day was 99 degrees and these guys worked 8 hours non-stop never complaining, always a pleasant smile, and kind words, even when we changed our mind about placement. Tarus, Cody, and Merio, are a wonderful crew! We don't do this often, moving that is. We have not moved in 28 years and then we were young enough that we did it ourselves with friends. Description of Work: I moved to a much smaller rental, without room for all my furniture. I engaged the service with two trucks and five men. They packed and unloaded efficiently at two locations. They loaded one truck with furniture and household goods for the rental, then unloaded the second truck at a storage facility. They were friendly, prompt, hard-working, and reasonably priced. I will hire them again.

Description of Work: I have used these moves several times and was very pleased. Once they moved two different households in one day for 1700.00. Very professional, pleasant and accommodating. Were very careful with the furniture. Wrapped couches in plastic and moved a large glass dining room table without any damage. Will use again.

Description of Work: Moved a 5 br house with a basement that was full. Also had 3 massive pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled. Kevin W , Walt ,Dave, Tim and Leshorn did a great job.

Description of Work: Moved contents of a 3 BR home to truck,stored for three days, then unloaded. There were some damages which were immediately and professionally repaired. Staff was lovely, hard working and professional.

Description of Work: I called this company in order to get an estimate of the cost of moving my parents' living room and dining room furniture, along with a few other pieces of furniture in other rooms, to my house. The only price they would give me was the hourly rate they charge for 3 men to do the moving ($128), plus an unknown cost for mileage, speed/slowness of traffic, and other "incidentals", which was not calculated or disclosed to me. That hourly rate and the unknown cost of incidentals and mileage tells me absolutely nothing about the total cost of a move. No one makes any kind of purchase, whether a product or a service, without some sort of general estimate of the total cost. Hiring anyone to perform any job or make any product under such circumstances gives a consumer no idea whatsoever of the cost. (Imagine doing that when you order a new car, or have a piece of furniture made, or even purchased a house. It would be untenable.) I asked that someone meet me at my parents' house to look at what needs to be moved and to give me an estimate of the moving job, but this company did not do that. A job or product purchased with no estimate could soar into the thousands, and the consumer could easily be in for a shock and without recourse. Failing to give a customer even a general estimate for a job is unfair and can lead to all kinds of problems for the customer. Also, this company considers one "room of furniture" to include only 2 or 3 pieces of furniture. I asked the receptionist if she knows anybody who has only 2 or 3 pieces of furniture in ANY room in their home. She did not answer. I like the idea that this company allegedly wraps furniture and covers upholstery, but without any kind of general estimate for a moving job, I can't hire them.

Description of Work: We had ABC Quality Moving and Storage pack our house and move to a new location in St. Charles County. The teams doing the packing and moving were great- they worked very hard, were always courteous, on time and took care with our belongings. The only negative thing was our new house has a very steep driveway which was communicated to the person bidding the job as well as during our first contact. The trucks could not make it up the driveway and our belongings had to be shuttled by pickup. This resulted in some delay and extra cost. Since this was a local move someone should have checked the driveway before submitting the bid.

Description of Work: They were amazing! Very professional and courteous, and very careful with my belongings. Arrived on time on both ends of the trip with no surprises!

Description of Work: |would absolutely hire again. Only reason for not overall "A" was a late start. To be fair, they had to drive 100 miles to reach pick up point nonetheless, were not there at the time they said they would be there.

Description of Work: I had the guys (Michael,Tim,and Chris) move all my belongings from a two bedroom house in south city to a two bedroom townhouse in St. Charles. They arrived promptly at 8:30 and got straight to work. They helped me tape up the last of the boxes and they wrapped all my furniture with moving blankets so nothing was scratched. It took a total of 3 and a half hours with drive time, they actually beat me to the new house. At the new place they put everything where I wanted it and even set up my beds for me. Would definitely use these guys again in the future.

Description of Work: They moved a three bedroom apartment with a washer and dryer from on the 3 floor to 2 story house. The guys quick, efficient, and careful. They did an excellent job for the price.

Description of Work: I had to move equipment and furniture from my office to my house and to a storage locker and to another office. All pieces(and some were very heavy) were moved carefully by Steve and Justin. All stops were completed efficiently. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: They packed, stored and moved for us locally. They stored our belongings for 30 days and moved us to our new location. They were accurate in their bid, consistent in their customer service and on-time and ready to work on packing and moving days. All in all, we had a great experience with ABC Moving and would recommend them to family and friends.
