ABC Quality Moving & Storage

Great. Kevin, Walt, and James R. showed up on time and did a great job. They expertly addressed even a mammoth entertainment center down stairs with a turn! They made sure to arrange everything in my new home to my specifications.

They arrived on time, handled the furniture with real skill, were friendly and professional. Mitch, Doug, Kevin and Walt are all good movers and we were happy with their work.

Eric and James were phenomenal. They were punctual, polite, tidy, and knowledgeable. They showed up on time, made sure the floors were covered (I have hardwoods and they scratch easily), and quickly and efficiently moved out the furniture. Their knowledge and experience on getting large pieces out of a small house really showed. They repeated the process moving the furniture into the new house and really helped getting pieces into place. They exceeded my expectations! I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job. Hired 4 men and 2 trucks. Weather started out drizzly and cold. By end of day it was pouring. They did their best to keep floors and furniture dry. The move included a spinet piano, a heavy granite table and a marble table. Everything went surprisingly well considering the weather. I didn't realize till after they had left that there was a huge puddle on the walkway to the front door they obviously had walked through many times. They never complained about it.

Everything went great. They were very professional, worked quickly, and were careful so as not to damage anything. They finished the job faster than I expected considering that they had to move everything down three flights. I would certainly use them again.

Doug and Bill arrived on time, were friendly, worked hard, and placed everything where requested without damaging anything!

They arrived on time and got to work quickly. They covered all the furniture and made sure they didn't scratch my hardwood floors. It was a very hot day, but it didn't seem to bother them. I had my boxes labeled, and they put everything in the right room. Also, I knew from a furniture delivery the prior day that my queen box springs wouldn't fit up the stairs in the house. They took out one of the upstairs windows and tried to bring in the box springs that way. It wouldn't fit through the window, either, but I appreciated their effort.

Doug, Keith, Rob and Bill were efficient and careful. The move was very smooth, with no less damage.

Great communications prior to move with Mike Munie. On time & timely work at daughter's, very careful of all furniture & related items. Total cost $150 less than expected.

We wound up pre packing just about all of the boxes ahead of time, the only item that the movers packed was an expensive wall mural hanging up in the dining room. There was a little confusion about sealing up the boxes and if an inventory would be performed prior to their being sealed (Ron led me to believe that they would be, but Kevin recommended that the room/area the box be identified by the room it would be going to in the new residence). They were running about 15 minuted late, but apologized as soon as they got to the door (kind of refreshing in this day and age). Everything was out and gone within 2 hours. On the delivery they kept to their promised window (although it was toward the end of the window). Wound up helping Kevin and Tim hump the piano up a flight of stairs since I had underestimated how many steps there were (at Ron and my wife's request). We're still trying to track down a lost box, but it was just food stuff and minor kitchen items, but overall they did a good job getting us up to our new house. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

Overall it went very well nothing was damaged or broken. I could tell they were frustrated with where to place items because we were running out of space because of the downsizing. We have a plumbing job in basement so nothing went in the basement. They did a great job, though.

Overall it went good they were friendly and funny and they worked hard. They were on time and professional. I found them on angies list and I would recommend them to others.

When I accepted an offer on my condo, the buyer wanted to close in less than two weeks! ABC Quality Moving was able to schedule my move on short notice. The movers, Kevin and Tony, arrived a few minutes early and worked quickly. They were very professional and helpful, making sure that all items were placed precisely where I wanted them. Kevin and Tony made a point of asking if there was anything else they could do for me before they left. I appreciated their thoroughness and professionalism.

The move went very smoothly and quickly. We would definitely use ABC Quality Moving again!

We got several estimates from moving companies our real estate agent had recommended. ABC Quality Moving was the least expensive, plus they were able to move my beloved piano. The three movers arrived and picked up the upright grand piano from the basement of my parents' house, then moved us out of our third story, two-bedroom condo unit (no elevator). They then drove directly to our new four-bedroom house to move us in. They were a really hardworking crew. They didn't scratch, lose or break a single item. They were punctual and very conscientious. Once they unloaded the truck at our new home, they moved all the boxes and furniture to the appropriate rooms, and even helped us place the furniture exactly where we wanted it. I've already recommended them to friends for both household moves and piano moves. They made our double move -- which could have been very stressful -- go very smoothly, and we will definitely use them again when we leave St. Louis.

1/2 day move. They did some packing and moving from one home to another. Was a little late arriving, but apologized and they worked really hard. I'd use them again.

Mike Munie provided a very clear estimate/bid for us to base our decision on. There were email problems which caused the bid to be delayed (just by a day), but Mike called to follow up, so I was able to get the bid with time to make the decision. They were able to accomodate our move with less than a week's notice. The team arrived right on time on the day of our move. Kevin did a walk through with my husband prior to starting to load. The rest of the team (James L, Walt and Mike) seemed knowledgeable regarding how to move tricky items and how best to load the trucks. They loaded all of our items, separated into "storage" and "apartment," from 9am to noon. They mentioned minor damage to one piece of furniture and offered to fix it. We probably would never have noticed it, so we were pleased that they had the integrity to tell us. They also loaded some odds and ends that I thought we would have to move ourselves since they were not packed in boxes. After a break for lunch (and a rainstorm) they came to the storage garages and unloaded our items, packing the first garage so well that we have space in the second garage to get to items we may need. They were very accommodating of changes "on the fly" moving items from one garage to the other as we changed our minds. They then loaded our furniture and other boxes into our apartment. They put down moving blankets to protect the floors of the apartment since it was wet outside. They unloaded everything in less than two hours, beating their estimate for the total time by 3 hours. (We did move a few things the previous weekend ourselves.) I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the team worked, sometimes almost running while they loaded. Overall, it was a really great experience.

I could not have been more pleased with the particular crew of James L., Rob, Walt and Nick. They were absolutely punctual, extremely careful with all my belongings and very cheerful throughout two days of extremely hot weather. I was impressed with their professionalism, their amazing sense of spatial relationships and with their pride in workmanship. Moving, for the home owner is a rather difficult and emotional experience and this crew made it as pleasant as it could be. I highly recommend them.

Mike's estimate was right on the money, even though it did rain a little at the start. Mike was very clear, estimates are just that, no guarantees, so despite the rain, the time used was very good. I did appreciate that Mike came out and actually looked at our furniture and layout, not just a phone estimate. My ONLY complaint is that the entire crew smoked in the van with our furniture. This is the reason for my low rating in professionalism.

They did an alright job but lost one of my couch cushions. Also, they told me they had equipment for moving pianos, but when they were here they just had three men trying to move it. When i called the office they said they would check on it and call me back. After a few days of not hearing anything I called them back and it did not seem that they had done much to find the cushion or that they were going to try and even look for it. The movers were fine but the office personnel the second time seemed to have a bad attitude. I will not use ABC moving again.

The movers arrived on time, worked efficiently, were careful and courteous. Arrived at the new location on time and unloaded the same. The whole process lasted 6 hours.

It was the best that it could be. They called a day ahead to make sure all was on schedule. They showed up on time with enough help and trucks and the men introduced themselves. They loaded steadily for four hours without damaging any contents, floors or walls. I was concerned about the piano since it is a player piano that is very heavy but they made it look easy. Unloading at the new house went just as well with care taken not to damage the hardwood floors.

Three movers arrived at first apartment 15 minutes early and offered to wait until agreed-upon start time if customer preferred. Emptied both apartments within approx one hour. Entire move took approx 3 hours (plus 1 hour "drive-time" fee), which I was very satisfied with. Movers were very efficient and accommodating, willing to adjust to changes we requested. Also, when I called to schedule the move, the office assistant was very knowledgeable and made the process quite simple.

The three man crew was fast, efficient and friendly. ABC Moving exceeded my performance expectations and the overall cost was less than I had imagined. I will certainly contact ABC again for my next move!
