ABC Quality Moving & Storage

The whole experience was good. I filled out the on-line quote in the evening and received a detailed estimate the following morning. The price was good and the final cost was on the low end of the estimate. My movers were Patrick and TImmy. They did a great job. They were punctual, professional and considerate. I have no complaints and would definitely use ABC quality moving, again.

The guys did a good job overall. But we gave them a "B" simply because they were pretty slow. We've moved a lot over the last few years, so we know what we're talking about. Other crews would have beaten these guys by a couple hours. But despite that, they did a good job overall. They were nice and courteous. Nothing was damaged.

They were terrific. Very courteous and efficient. Everything was moved to my new home without a hitch. The had to break down a bed and some under bed storage, which they put back together quickly at the new place. The worst part was trying to move so much into a much smaller space - but they were great while I tried to decide where everything needed to go. At the last minute they had to take apart a very large elliptical so it would go down the stairs to the basement. That slowed them down somewhat, but couldn't be happier with the final result.

They did their job well, and were reasonably priced. I'm happy with their service that they did for me.

They were efficient and they were careful with the move. They followed through on the task as we agreed. It was a one day process and it all went smoothly. Nothing was damaged. They did a great job. I would absolutely use them again.

great experience. mocing is stressful and they made it easy. I hope to not have to move again in the near future but if/when i do, i will use ABC and so should you.

From the man who I believe was named Mike who came to do the estimate to the five men who packed and moved our things, each of them was curteous and considerate of our needs. There were five men who came to do the big move and each of them worked hard all day and never complained in our presence about all the boxes of heavy books and other accumulations of over 40 years of married life. (I hope they didn't complain too hard when it was done) We are totally satisfied with this company.

Kevin, Walt, and James arrived on time and worked steadily to complete my move efficiently, saving me money on hourly charges. They don't wear uniforms or drive a fancy truck, and that works out well as the customer only pays for what is important: service. Unlike other movers I have used from national companies, this crew never complained about challenges such as getting a king mattress down a staircase with a sharp bend. At my new condo, though they had to transport furniture from the street down a walkway to my end unit, they managed without any fuss. All three workers were polite and professional, making moving a lot easier.

Nothing was broken or lost. The crew members were very nice and worked hard. I would call this company again.

Very pleased with our experience! Tommy and Bill were our movers...they walked through what to expect for the day and did a physical walk-through of our stuff to get an idea of what was being moved. Bill has obviously been doing this for quite some time; he was a complete pro. He was very curteous and took the time to explain things and ask questions to make sure I got what I wanted. He was so nice and such a pleasure. They really hustled, pretty much for four hours straight. Our new house was about 2 miles from our old one, so they didn't even get much of a break in between. They had to move a treadmill, elliptical machine, and a very heavy king size bed with no complaints. I've heard such awful horror stories about movers, so we were very nervous to hire someone, but thanks to Angie's List, we had a great experience with ABC!

They worked hard and moved anything we asked, even small things. Kevin and James R. were our movers. They were kind, considerate, and helpful. My only compliant was a smoke break that they took close to the house.

Overall, it was great. The guys showed up on time and were very courteous. My husband wanted to have the move go as quickly as possible (to save money), so he helped them the entire time. They were very careful about all of our items and took the time to make sure nothing was dinged-up. The only thing that broke was a lamp, and it was my husband who was carrying it! The guys were all friendly and convivial. I joked with them after they had moved a piano into the basement that perhaps I should put it on the top floor instead. They did take a half hour lunch and it was deducted from the price. They arrived at 9:00am and were finished by 4:00pm. It would have taken longer if my husband hadn't assisted and we also told them they could just start leaving things in the garage as it got later into the day. The total price was $812.00 which seemed quite reasonable to us. My only minor complaint was that I did witness one of the men smoking in the back of the truck while he was loading items and there was a cigarette butt on our front steps that he must have left. I didn't notice any of our items smelling like smoke, so in the end, I didn't complain. I found ABC on Angie's List and feel comfortable recommending them to anyone hiring movers.

It was an in town move with the Angie's List coupon. They were punctual for the most part. Two of the three movers that were there were excellent. The third was primarily there I believe to assemble and disassemble things and I felt like I was paying for two and a half people. He also did a real shabby job reassembling a baby crib. They did come out and correct it but not without the person who was at fault. He was very much defensive as though he did it right the entire time. Two of the three movers were excellent and incredibly quick. They made really short work of things that we have moved previously and had major issues with. I had a really hard time recommending the third member of that moving crew. They took a week and I actually had to call back after the initial contact to get someone to come out and fix the crib. It just happened that we didn't need the crib at that time so we could wait. We feel like we were charged for a little portion of the lunch that they took that we probably should not have been. I would use them again if I could pick the crew.

They had a lot of good feedback on their listing on Angie's List. I thought the quote was very reasonable and the guy was very professional when he came here to give me the quote. He was thorough and knowledgeable. I have a large house with a lot of stuff and the quote was very reasonable. We haven't yet moved. If they didn't have all the good ratings we might have shopped around a little more. The guy who came to the house was a former mover himself so he knew what it would take so that was nice. He said they had 2 trucks and 4 men so that would be nice to get it all done in one day as opposed to 2.

Move was originally scheduled for arrival around 1PM. My daughter received a number of calls from them that morning advising her that the morning move was turning out to be more that they planned. Around noon she was called again and received word that a different crew would be arriving on time, and they did. I originally planned for 2 men and the other crew was a 3 man crew. I was given a discount so that I did not pay for 3 men. They guys were friendly and no problems to report. Move went as well as hoped. Not a big job and went rather quickly, 2 - 3 hours.

Each person was polite and efficient move was without hazard.

When we first planned our move, I had called a different moving company on Angie's List, was visited by the estimator and was told I would be given an estimate via email. The email never arrived, after several days, and I was getting very anxious. So, I called ABC Quality Moving and was given an estimate within an hour. I felt very confident about this company and spoke with the receptionist, who was very nice. On moving day, the 3 men that the company sent, were very quick, friendly, professional and showed up exactly at 8:30am on 9/9/11, as promised. We had a lot of furniture to move from a larger house to a smaller one and they handled everything very well. I would most definitely use this company again!

I emailed ABC Quality moving with an initial question and almost immediately got a reply. I then submitted for a quote online and within 24 hours had an emailed quote. Upon calling the company to setup the move, the gentleman was very nice and professional. The day before moving day, they called to confirm the move and time. The day of moving, the guys (Mike, James, and Carlos) pulled up and went right to work. They were fast and thorough (completely done in under 4 hrs)...and treated the house with much respect. I couldn't have asked for a better group of guys or a better move. I've heard horror stories about movers which is why I went with this company (awesome reviews on angies list)....I'm happy to say no horror stories here! :)

The crew was Kevin, Tommy, Tim and Bill G. This was the first time I used ABC and if I ever move again, I will definitely use them again! These guys could not have been any more pleasant, professional, or efficient. Everything went smoothly and quickly and nothing was damaged. The day of the move was miserably hot, near 100 degrees, and this didn’t seem to affect the attitude or energy of these guys. They were amazing!

The crew (Paul M, James R and Bill W) arrived in the window specified, and after a quick walkthrough got started right away. The crew worked very quickly with minimal breaks on a very hot day. They put everything right where I directed and were friendly and professional the whole time. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We were very happy with this company. Three men (Dennis, Mitch, and Walt) came on Friday to pack up the house. On Saturday, four men (Walt, James, Greg, and James) loaded two trucks and unloaded them at the new house. It was a big move, and both days were very hot, but the men were punctual, efficient, and professional. They were very careful with our belongings and were willing to work with us to make sure furniture and rugs were positioned as we wanted them. They were also very conscientious about putting boxes in the right rooms.

This is the 3rd time this company has moved me and each time the experience has been as painless as moving can be. I had 4 men and 2 trucks in front of my house at 9am. All came up and introduced themselves to me then walked with me through the house, all three floors and the basement. There were some very heavy items and some very awkward items in the upper floors that I still don't know how they got them to the truck. I pointed out a grandfather clock that is very important to me and asked them to pay it special attention. They handled my clock with kid gloves and I appreciated that so much. When we arrived at the new house I pretty much sat on the couch and directed traffic. The unload went very quickly. They put everything where I wanted it and offered to set up my beds, however I wanted to do all that. The entire job was 6.5 hours, including the hour drive time. I am amazed it was done so quickly and so well. This is the ONLY moving company I will use.

The crew ( James L., Bill G., and Bill W.) was great, took the BEST care with our belonings, were personable, and very good at figuring out the best way to move everything.

The moving crew (Kevin, Dennis, Walt & James) was superior. They had the ultimate "can-do" attitude. We had some very difficult pieces to move out and move in, yet they did it all without a problem...no whining involved whatsoever. They made us feel confident and comfortable, which is a huge plus during the stress of a move. They actually seemed to enjoy the challenge! We have moved 6 times in the last 8 years...a couple were cross-country using a major national service provided to us through my husband's employment relocation package. In other words, we are not strangers to the moving process. From all of these moves, we found ABC to be far & above anything we have experienced.
