ABC Quality Moving & Storage

I was able to schedule them for the day after my initial call. They gave me a one-hour time frame in which they would arrive. They arrived within 10 minutes of the set time. They did not pull into the driveway until I gave them permission. They were very polite and efficient. They had all the necessary tools...blankets, dollies, etc. Before they stored one piece of furniture, they alerted me to a crack in the back of it. When they were arriving at each of the two houses, they were very careful to avoid driving on the grass and/or hitting any trees. I was very impressed with their service.

I had used the company a few months before for moving home to storage unit. I felt that the movers on the first move were more professional and did not complain. The movers kept making comments about moving to the second floor. I don't remember the names of the men who did the moving but I just did not feel as comfortable with them and how they handle the move. The people I spoke with on the phone were very helpful when scheduling the move. I would use them again because of the first experience.

Greg and Chris P. did an awesome job! They showed up on time, did a quick walk-through to get overall scope of the job, and got moving quickly! We explained that several of the items they would be moving had been in our family for generations and we wanted to make sure they were handled accordingly. They treated these pieces (and the rest of the furniture) like it was their own prized possessions! They were quick and courteous! Very competitive pricing for quality work! We would definitely use them again!

Amazing customer service from start to finish! Christina was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the process. I experienced an unexpected death in the family that required me to travel out of state on my move date. Christina and my moving team were so understanding, supportive, and accommodating. They moved my date and then moved it again due to the snowstorm! I didn't expect this level of flexibility and compassion from a moving company! My moving team was A.J., Leo, and Sam. They arrived to the apartment exactly on time and were efficient, professional, and good humored. They were clear about what they could and could not take in the van, limits of liability, etc. As an additional courtesy, and at my request, they helped me carry my pets (in carriers) out to my car when we left the apartment. The team arrived at the home exactly when they said they would and were great about putting everything where I needed it to be (house was/is being renovated and many items needed to go into basement for storage). Even more amazing is that when all was said and done the cost came in UNDER the low end of their estimate! I would absolutely use them again for any future moves.

We moved all small items and boxes ourselves. This move should have taken only 2 hours but they made sure to drag it out to 3. They even charged me for time to sweep out their truck.There was nothing dirty or anything about the furniture or items moved that would have left anything in the truck that would have to be swept out. I would not use them again.

We are relocating and needed to find a new home for our piano. I contacted our local school district and arranged to give it to them for use in their piano lab. Angie's list help us to find ABC Quality Moving. Owner Mike gave me a price quote immediately - including a discount because it was a donation! Within two days of my call, he had the crew pick up the piano and make the delivery as promised. It was a wonderful experience because the planning was quick and easy, the work was done promptly and exactly as promised, and the price quoted was the price we paid. The school is happy, we are happy and we hope the piano is happy in its new home with students to enjoy it!

We hired ABC moving company to help my Best friend's Mother move from IL to St. Charles MO. We were beyond pleased. the two gentlemen that handled the moved that day (Greg and Tim) Were OUTSTANDING. they went beyond what we expected. they took extra care with all her belongings and were very quick. they had to move a W/D from an old house basement, not an easy task. Helped with getting the refridgerator out and to her daughter's home just down the street of her new apartment and even had to remove a door on the old home to remove a larger appliance and rehung it--non to the wiser it had to be done. We could go on for hours on how pleased we are with thier services and will be recommend to all of our friends and we will use again if needed in the future. A BIG THANKS to Greg and Tim for being so professional and kind during a very emotional moving process.

They did a great job! There were on time and very professional throughout the move. The handled our items with care and followed direction on where the items were to be place at the new location. They even provided tips on furniture placement for aesthetics and to maximize space e.g. turning the curio at an angle in the dining room instead of putting it flush against the wall to make the curio doors easier to access. Our team consisted of Sam, Chris and Tim. These guys worked hard and barely took breaks. We have had other less than satisfactory, self-paid moves with other companies over the years where the movers go to ?lunch? and disappear for 90 minutes and/or take a million (forgive the hyperbole) ?smoke? breaks which of course, runs up the clock and the price. From those moves, we learned to order in lunch for movers and other home vendors instead of having them go out (works well). We ordered in pizza for our ABC team and they didn?t eat a single slice until they were done and walking out the door. I felt badly because the food was stone cold by then but we appreciated their diligence and hustle. We would certainly use them again if we ever had another local move.

Their service was fast, and their price is affordable. They did a good job.

They did an okay job and I'm not really "unhappy" with the job they did. However, the crew complained a lot about how heavy things were, etc. Really? Because you're movers. Also, one guy kept injuring himself. They were sort of slow and talked a lot - including bickering with each other. I also didn't like that they only used the quilts on stuff while it was on the truck.

I highly recommend ABC Quality Moving! The team there is incredibly responsive - came out quickly to survey the house and provide an estimate, and checked in with me frequently in the days leading up to the move. On the day of the move, the crew of four arrived on time, was super-friendly and professional, and got right to work packing up the house. They were very efficient - didn't waste any time (in fact, I was hoping they would take a longer lunch break than they did), and then moved all the boxes into the new location and reassembled the furniture correctly on the spot. They were very positive the entire time - I think moving is a total nightmare, and their positive attitudes helped me to get through it. First, Christine was very helpful answering questions and helping plan the services we needed. She was great. The team they sent out, Kevin and Tim, were incredible. They were very polite and respectful. That is hard to come by and really made these guys stand out. They also took great care of my belongings and home. They even checked my grease pan in my grill before moving it. They were constantly on the move, which I really appreciated. I had originally booked them for 4 hours to keep within a budget. However, after seeing how great a job they were doing and how hard they worked, I knew that they were the best and most economical option to move the remaining items that I had ready to go. I was happy to give them additional work. If I ever need to move again, I will definitely use ABC again. A job very well done!

One guy showed up hungover based on what he said. I had to speak with the owner twice for price adjustments. One guy disappeared for 30minutes and returned smelling like drugs. The owners were great and nice to me in regards to my situation.

Everyone at ABC Quality Movers that I had contact with was wonderful. Starting with the initial phone call for a quote, Christine answered all my questions. She was very nice and professional the whole time. I was pretty stressed since it was a move for my new bosses, but the ABC team put me at ease. Walt, Timmy and Kevin were effecient and easy going even though we had a crazy moving deadline. They pulled it off and I am very grateful for all their help. I would highly recommend this moving company for office moves anytime.

Good experience overall from start to finish: such as making the reservation, the intial walkthrough estimate which was right on target to the finished total, and the actual move. No issues or damages during move. Did a good job and completed in a timely manner. The crew was efficient, fast and punctual. Would request same crew again and would use ABC Quality moving services again.

I think it might help if someone came beforehand to see what I had to move. There was also a little confusion, maybe on my part, about unpacking things. I think I was under the impression that if ABC packed something (like a picture into a picture frame), they would be responsible for unpacking it at the new location because of insurance reasons. I was told this was not the case by the movers. So, again, maybe it was my misunderstanding.

The movers arrived at 9:15 am (within the 8:30-9:30 window we were promised by the company). They moved all of the furniture and boxes. We had already done the packing. The move lasted about 6 hours with the movers taking a 30 minute lunch. During the work, the movers were efficient and did not break anything. They made sure we had everything moved where it needed to be.

The movers arrived on time and went right to work. They moved our furniture with care, no dings, breaks, no damage. They were very professionl. The cost estimate was correct. I would recommed them to anyone. I'm very pleased, I would give them an A.

This was the second time that I have used ABC Quality Moving. My second experience was as excellent as my first. This move was a very emotional one since my mother was moving out of her condominium and getting ready to go to an assisted living facility. Patrick (PJ) and Chris were not only punctual, respectful and capable, they were also very sensitive to the circumstances and sensitive to my mother's feelings. I deeply respect the job that Patrick and Chris did, but even more so I respect the manner in which they did their job. It is wonderful to find competent professionals who are also caring human beings.

We were moving from a three story/3bedroom downtown victorian home to a ranch in the county. I hoped I would be able to get a moving date within 2 weeks of my call. From the start I spoke to Christina who was friendly, professional and efficient. She gathered some initial information and asked when I would like to move I asked if a week from my date of call was possible? She explained about getting an estimate and determining the size of the crew needed and that since I was looking to move soon she would get me an estimate ASAP. I had someone at the house within 2 days! Person who came out was Mike I believe. We walked through the house and went over what was going and staying, the difficult spots in the house i.e. narrow stairs, 3rd floor clearance etc. He was awesome. He was professional approachable and explained how it would work. He told me he thought it would take 3 men 6-8 hours and explained how they bill hourly,men used etc. estimating it at $1200. This is a good price! I have moved MANY times in my life and work with furniture and delivery companies associated furniture delivery and I know what hard work and experience needs to be had in order to be careful with someone's items as well as with their home. Mike also knew I would like to get a date for the following week so he said he would get the info back to Christina by the end of the day so she could book me ASAP. I think an hour later Christina said he had called it into her and got me a date for the following week! All 3 of the moving men were outstanding! Tom, Walt and Billy. They arrived on time and were again approachable, polite and professional. We walked through the house to see what they were in for and determine what they wanted to load first. Through the process they confirmed items that were going/staying and made sure to give me any hardware that may easily get lost. All the tricky spots were easily navigated and carefully maneuvered through. Big kudos to Walt! He really knew his stuff. He also knew exactly how to talk the others through blind spots and tricky maneuvering. Tom and Billy were also great! They cleared the 3story house in approx. 4 hrs. Not a single thing or place in either home received any damage not even a scuff! The new house we moved into had brand new hardwood and they set up pads throughout to avoid any damage. It took them a total of 7 hours and I ended up under estimate at approx. $900. They were thorough, efficient, and experienced! Definitely the best moving experience I have ever had! And let me stress again, I have moved a lot...20+ times alone in my adult life. Thanks ABC! We bought this house so I don't plan on moving soon but I will recommend you to anyone and everyone I can!

Well, I told the story in the above category (describe in detail the services performed). I can add that I was impressed with their attention to detail, and their expertise in doing all the aspects of the job in a very effecient manner. For example, for some furniture they had to take things apart. They did this skillfully and quickly. In one case they had to unscrew a door closer to a storm door which they did and then quickly re-installed it. They got around the narrow confines of the steps to the second floor to my house and moved all the upstairs items with dispatch. At the condominium they had to move things quite a distance from the truck to the elevator, so as not to violate condominium rules which they did with dispatch. They put any items of furniture back together that they had to take apart without incident. For example, they lost no bolts or screws in the process. They did an excellent job and I would use these men and this company again and recommend them.

Keran, Sam and George arrived at the plumbing supply warehouse at the time agreed upon and proceeded to our home right on time. They were careful to assess the job and provided protection to our walls, bannister and the tub. This 325 pound tub seemed to be very little trouble to these experienced movers. They went up the steps, around a turn and placed the tub right where it needs to be. It all took about an hour. We couldn't be happier.

I hired a crew of three for the move and they were amazing! It was very hot and they had to load things from the basement, the main floor, and the upstairs. Not everything was to be loaded and they did a fantastic job keeping track of what was to stay and what was to go. They worked well together, and were very professional. They were experienced, and it showed in the way they handled the furniture, much of which was circa 1930, and in how they packed the items so securely in the truck. I had a separate crew unload in my destination city, and those movers also commented on how well the truck was packed. (I'm writing this review a couple months after the move, and I don't have the receipt handy. The cost listed above is an estimate and also includes some additional moving pads that I bought from the company because I didn't get enough of them from UHaul. For the work, I felt the price was very reasonable!)

This was one of the best and easiest moves I've ever had, thanks to ABC Moving. First - they were there when they said they would be there. I've moved so many times and have been given a window and the movers are usually outside of the window. Not ABC Quality Movers. Showed up on time and ready to work. I had the pleasure to work with Patrick and Walt on my move. They were friendly, professional and fast. I was moving from an apartment that had a narrow door and tight entryway. In less than a minute, they had my full sized sofa out of the door. As a contrast, when I had the sofa delivered, it took the company that delivered it over 20 minutes to get it into the apartment. One other thing, I had to book ABC Quality Movers on short notice and they worked with me to find something that mutually worked for our schedules. I would highly recommend them to anyone
