Thank you, Christina! Even though I couldn't afford to go with your quote, you saved me from a scam. I highly recommend Christina and ABC Moving for all people who can afford their high quality services. They saved me from being scammed and possibly being robbed.

It went really well. They were prompt and really friendly. They even took boxes that weren't closed yet. They were so helpful!

SUPERB!!! A company that believes in service! I began my search for a moving company by obtaining candidates from Angie's List----where else would a person start? I "interviewed" eight different moving companies by telephone. ABC Quality Moving was the only firm that didn't "blow me off." I had very particular requirements, i.e., my furniture and belongings had to be packed and moved and unpacked at my new home within eight hours. I was willing to pay for whatever combination of personnel and equipment necessary. ABC Quality Moving was the - only - company willing to send an estimator, i.e, Matt, to physically come to my house to see what I wanted packed/moved. Some of the companies thought I was being unreasonable with my stated time-frame, and were unwilling to allocate the appropriate resources to get the job done. I first spoke with Christina in the office and she gave me a "ball park" figure, but said the estimator needed to see the contents of my move before quoting a more accurate price. Throughout my dealing with ABC Quality Moving, she was the "anchor." Always knowledgeable. Always helpful. She anticipated the job required six movers and two trucks. Other firms rattled off hourly rates for personnel, moving vans, etc. None of them had any idea exactly WHAT was to be moved, nor how long it would take to accomplish! Other firms just spouted dollars/numbers. Matt arrived, as scheduled, a few days after my initial conversations with Christina. He proceeded from room-to-room to assess the extent of my furniture and effects. He gave me a written estimate, and we arranged the scheduling. On the day of the move, Matt called me to say they would be a little later than anticipated due to traffic. I appreciated this "heads up." I continued to use the extra time to "stage" the move for the men. Greg, Undray, Tarus, Cord, Michael, Randy, - AND - Matt, arrived shortly with the two trucks. In about three hours, they worked tirelessly to pack and load the truck. A short trip to my new house followed. They then carried in my furniture, and per my request, stacked all moving containers of personal effects in the garage, where I would unpack them at my leisure, even though they offered to do so! The workers never took a break. Never "slacked off." Never took a meal break. I don't think they even took a bathroom break. They worked until the job was totally completed!! It's been a long time since I've seen such a hard-working crew. I'm accustomed to moving, having served 30 years in the Army, with frequent moves. NOTHING was damaged. NOTHING was lost! No time was wasted! This stressful event was made absolutely enjoyable compared to previous moves. THE CREW WAS OUTSTANDING! I hope I tipped accordingly, which each man seemed most appreciative. This move could not have been any more perfect! The total cost was LOWER THAN THE ESTIMATE!!! The only complaint I could lodge would be: THEY MAKE ALL THEIR COMPETITION LOOK BAD! If you need a moving company in the St. Louis area, there is absolutely only one you should consider: ABC Quality Moving. Their name says it all!!!

ABC Quality Movers did an awesome job moving my residence. Stephen and Timmy were very nice & professional. They moved everything very quickly and carefully. I would definately refer them to others and would use them again without a doubt. Thanks Stephen & Timmy!!!!

We loved working with ABC moving company through our entire moving process. They were very accommodating to us when we were making our deposit & when the crew shoes put o load the truck they were so polite, courteous & fast. They were very careful with our belongings, & we were nervous, some things are irreplaceable! They did a fantastic job. When the truck arrived at our new house, those poor boys worked in the rain, wiped our things down when they came in, carefully protected our white carpets and we're very cautious with the walls. They were wonderful. Taurus & Thomas were very polite, I was just so happy for that! They are good boys & ABC is a wonderful company to work with, affordable & professional! Thank you!

I hired ABC to pack my 4 bedroom home, move the items to the ABC storage facility, and then move the items to my new home. I was told the home could be packed in one day, and the move to storage could be accomplished in one day. I stated I wanted the house, garage and storage shed packed when given the time and price estimate, and was assured all could be done. Four movers were sent to pack my home. I ended up helping them pack from 9:00 until approximately 4:30, when I had to leave to pick up my sons from school. I continued to help pack upon my return. The movers left the house at 7:00, but the garage and shed still needed to be packed. I later learned that not all the items in my home were inventoried, only those packed on the first day. BE WARE OF THE COMPANY'S FAILURE TO INVENTORY ALL ITEMS! Further, even though ABC sent an estimator to my house to view the items that needed to be packed and moved, I was not told until the day of packing that ABC could not legally pack or move certain items. This would have been nice to know beforehand, especially since the estimator viewed the items, and said nothing. The next day the move took place. Two moving trucks were sent, but only one was actually used to move the items to storage. As a result, there was a large block of time (for which I was charged) when the first truck left with a load that no one was loading the second truck. We lost a lot of time as a result of the movers waiting for the first truck to return, even though a second empty truck was sitting in the street. The movers moved items until 11:00 that night. They had to return the following day to move the rest of the items (none, we learned were inventoried by the movers). When the items were removed from storage to be moved into my new home, I was told the move would take one day. The items were moved in one day, but I was asked to sign off on a document that said I had inspected every item and saw no damage. I do not understand how I am supposed to unpack and inspect all my items for damage in one day, when 4 of their professional movers could not pack the items in one day. Regardless, I indicated on their signature sheet that I had not inspected the boxed items, so I could not verify whether there was damage. I was able to go through my packed items over the course of the following 3 days. I contacted ABC to advise that a box labeled "Laptop" actually contained pillows, and my laptop was missing. I advised ABC that other items were missing as well. I was told to do this when I questioned how I could certify that all items had been delivered in satisfactory condition. After my report of missing items. I was told they would contact their insurance carrier and get back with me. I called back 2 weeks later and was told the same thing. I was then told "we will call you once we know something". To this day (4 months later) I have not heard anything from ABC. I would not recommend their service. They do not accurately bid the job. They send an estimator to the house, and still can't accurately estimate the time needed to pack or move. This means the price quoted is significantly less then you end up paying. Many of my large items of furniture have scratches and some are even missing wood (these are solid wood items; not press board). Several items are missing permanently (cover for foundation for Sleep Number bed, laptop, one of my furniture dollys, etc), The packing was confusing to say the least. Items were simply dumped into boxes, boxed items were unboxed only to be boxed again by the movers, items that were still in factory packaging were dumped out and into moving boxes, etc. And the most egregious part is that my laptop was obviously taken, pillows were placed in the box to attempt to trick me, and this after I tipped the movers.

Greg and Tim were the best. Very professional and detailed. They wrapped everything with blankets and stretch wrap. Got it all done in one trip and very timely considering the workload. Thanks!

I have used professional movers 7 times in the past. This is the first time that I have not given them a tip. It went that badly. I picked abc moving because of their reviews on Angie's List. I ended very disappointed. The woman on the phone that made the reservation pushed repeatedly to get me to hire 4 men and 2 trucks. I told her multiple times that wasn't necessary. (I've done this before). Considering that I've already packed all of the boxes myself, and a large majority of my belongings were being donated, therefore not being moved, I wouldn't need a 2nd truck (I was asking for the 3 men and 1 truck to speed things along.). She continued to push that "based upon her estimate" I would need the second truck. I didn't want it. I told her that more than once. Again she told me I would need 4 men and 2trucks. I told her that my house is in the city and there wouldn't even be room to park 2 trucks. She actually said, " well they can park it several blocks away and that way it's there if they need it." I told her that I didn't want to pay for 2 trucks when I wouldn't even come close to filling the first. Besides why would I pay the additional fuel charges?. I just wanted the 3rd guy to help speed things along. It was actually one of the stupidest conversations I've had in while. Finally she grudgingly completed the reservation for 3 men and 1 truck. I should have listened to my gut and called back to cancel them. They were punctual in the beginning. Showed up in the morning when they said they would. Watching the truck pull up in front my heart immediately sank. Out came 2 scrawny looking older guys in their 50's with cigarettes dangling from their mouths. ( these were my professional movers). The driver was younger, quicker and more professional. He was the only one all day that pulled his weight. These guys took FOREVER. I was so quickly annoyed watching them work. One small piece at a time would slowly walk out of the house. Then there would be the cigarette break in the truck. Over and over throughout the course of the day I would say to myself WHERE ARE THEY?, and they were clustered in the truck smoking and playing on their phones. The third guy that I paid extra to have there in order to make the entire move go faster stayed in the truck the entire time. I'm not kidding. He stayed in there folding and refolding blankets and smoking. I only saw him out of there once or twice. One of which he went into the bathroom at the storage place and was in there for 45 minutes. I know this because I needed to use it and was timing him. I have a lot of antiques which the woman on the phone assured me would be professionally wrapped in shrink wrap and blankets. She told me that the quilted blankets were 7 dollars each. When I noticed that the movers were not wrapping or protecting my antique furniture, I said something to which they only wrapped a piece with the shrink wrap if I reminded them to (if I didn't visibly see them take a piece out, then they put it in the truck without it. Then they made a huge deal out of telling me that the (obviously used and re-used) blankets they had were "50 dollars each "and since "that adds up quickly" that they wouldn't charge me for the few that they did use. They made a huge show out of telling me that they weren't going to charge me for these crappy blankets several times in an obvious attempt to make me think I was getting something for free and tip them large sums of cash at the end. If I hadn't been so annoyed at how slow they were at this point I would have just laughed in their faces at them thinking I was that stupid. Did I mention how slow they were? One guy would carry a single dining room chair. A very light chair. 2 can easily be carried at one time, but no, back and forth with one chair at a time. And a cigarette break in between. Then one box at a time. Never saw a dolly. They were determined at the beginning that they were going to milk this for the entire day. The owner of my storage place even mentioned to me that I was being ripped off. When it was time for the payment at the end which, amazingly took 8 hours (surprise surprise), the guy even had the nerve to say they " worked 8 hours with no break." Considering they were on one perpetually long cigarette break and cell phone break, I just rolled my eyes internally. I honestly really just wanted them gone. There wasn't any point in saying anything. Abc Moving turned an already stressful situation was turned into a major hassle and my stress was quadrupled. I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I rated them an F for price because although their quoted rates are reasonable and competing, the entire job took TWICE as long as it should have.

They were not efficient as they could have been. It took an extra house longer than what my daughter's normal move took.

We used ABC Quality Moving & Storage through ABC Quality Moving & Storage. The service in July was okay but November wasn't so great. We did two moves. They moved the rest of our stuff in November. The price was fair. They broke a couple of things and they did take money off of our price. The second crew was careless. They were not as careful as the other crew, they broke a couple of things. They got the stuff here. I would use them in the future but I would ask for the first crew that did work for us.

It was a super cold day, but Thomas, Undray, Tarus and Mike D. worked well and quickly. They laid down the floor protection I requested and were careful with our items.

Thomas, Steve, Billy, and David were the movers. We had had many poor experiences with other companies in the past. The ABC crew was amazing. I only wish the rest of the world had the high standards of courtesy, hard work, and customer service that these four men demonstrated. They went beyond all expectations. They not only put the beds back together, but repaired one that had been losing the slats. They took extra care with the many fragile antiques. I highly recommend this team of movers.

A crew of four arrived on time and were professional and courteous. They worked with us to include even last minute additions and did quality work without breakage or any issues whatsoever. The crew we had were experienced and it showed

Three men came for the service and they were very professional. They were very efficient and it took 3 hours for them to complete the job.

ABC Quality Moving called to confirm that morning, showed up in great looking trucks, had plenty of energetic movers, a knowledgable leader, & efficiently move my things without a glitch. One negative, they sent an extra truck. However, they adjusted the charge since we didn't need it. I recommend them.

They did a nice job. Very professional and helpful. They took a bit longer than we anticipated; however, they were very careful with our items.

First let me first tell you that this was our 8th professional move... 7 of those were long distance. So we've been through this ordeal and know how much stuff we have and how much work it is. Fortunately this one was not long distance, as I am sure everything they packed would have been destroyed. This time we moved less than ten miles. The packers arrived on time bringing five men instead of the arranged four. We only paid for four. Things started a little odd when signing the starting paperwork and the head packer suggested tips be given in cash and not added to the paperwork! The packers were EXTREMELY slow and their work just as poor. (Thank goodness we did the kitchen.) The first box I unpacked was a dish pack (an expensive box to be used for HEAVY items) had pillows stuffed in it and at the bottom a dried flower arrangement ... which I had to pitch since it was now crumbs. The latest box I unpacked had an antique vase with fine sand, barely wrapped in paper and stuffed upside down in the box -- needless to say sand everywhere. The delicate handmade items made by my grandfather, not wrapped, just dumped in the box now broken. Items in a shadow box were not removed and packed, delicate items now damaged. We had hired two trucks and six men for the move as we didn't want to be moving until midnight .. we didn't ... it was 10:00 pm :-( The movers worked much harder and faster than the packers. We had a couple of items scratched but didn't report it as the driver took an hour off the cost. (They must get penalized for damage.) By the end of the day they were putting anything anywhere. Many of the boxes were not marked by the fabulous packers. I was told by the estimator and the head packer that they handled sleep-number beds and our beds would be taken down, boxed, moved and set up. The movers did NOT box mattresses but dragged them across the floor, did not mark the boxes with the pumps and said they didn't set up sleep number beds anyway. So after two grueling days of moving we had no place to sleep! It took us two days to find the pumps. I wasn't going to write a review on Angie's List because after opening that first box, I called Mike, the owner and explained all the problems we had with the move. He asked what he could do to make it right and let me chose two men to come back and help me do whatever needed to be done. I really appreciated that and the two guys that came back were wonderful... as long as I was watching them. It is only because of Mike's response that we did not rate F. If you do decide to use ABC, I would make sure you requested the employees other reviewers have named.

The team of Steve H, Cody, David and Billy arrived punctually at 8.40am (we were informed arrival between 8.30 and 9.30am) They took a look at the furniture, the rooms, the boxes and assessed the work, made their plan and got to work right away. They kept us informed of their plan and gave regular status updates. They were friendly and kept good cheer through the day. The made sure they packed or moved things that we wanted to and also made recommendations on some of the more delicate items. I had packed about 100 boxes prior to their arrival and they handled the moving of those well, with proper placement as required in the rooms of the new home. They took their breaks appropriately and in a timely manner. They came well prepared with necessary packing materials, loading equipment and assembly and disassembly tools. They took good care of our furniture, a lot of it being heavy solid wood, of our paintings, some delicate canvas, some with glass, and of our belongings, however large or small, however precious or basic. The team worked hard and took about nine hours to complete the job. They were professional in the closure of the job, the billing (we used the coupon on Angie's List) and ensured we did our checks, as well as had furniture etc in the places we wanted them. We had two trucks for the job and they made sure they did not obstruct the driveways and moved the trucks as required. We were very happy with the service and the team, and are grateful to have them help in our move.

It was a great experience. The trucks arrived at 8:00 am as scheduled and we worked straight through until 11:00 that night. We they left, every room of our new condo had furniture intact. All applicances and electronics were properly placed. We slept like babies in our new home and had guest for dinner less than a week after the move!

I cannot recommend this company more highly! They came out promptly for an estimate and got right back with me for a firm estimate. They told me exactly what to expect and they provided on-line info which was helpful. I used them for some packing of very fragile items, mirrors, art work and the like. They had a team that worked very efficiently and carefully and shrink wrapped a lot of my furniture to protect it. On both moves they showed up when scheduled and were very polite and professional. Nothing was damaged or lost. The same guys who packed and loaded were the ones who drove the truck directly to Santa Fe and unloaded and did some unpacking. Wow those guys are hard workers! The office staff and estimated were of the same top quality, very helpful and a fair price, especially for the long distance move.

Movers were Thomas,Walt and Sam. They did a very good job including taking two couches , washer-dryer and the treadmill down a narrow flight of stairs into the basement. Highly satisfied with this company.

I've unpacked everything from my move and am giving this moving company a solid "A" They arrived earlier in the morning and started boxing and packing. They packed things I had forgotten about or didn't even remember I had! The "Guys" were: Stephen H., Darrell, Steve S.; and Walt. All of them were courteous and polite. By the time the truck was loaded and packed to the nth degree it was only afternoon. They had an hour and a half drive to my new place; unpacked before it was dark. A very full days work. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly.

Excellent. Met all expectations. The work ethic of these guys was incredible. They worked all day, sweating hard, until past sunset. Billy, Sam H, and Dan O were great. One initial worker had to leave for a family emergency, and they had him replaced with another worker immediately. Prices were fair. Nothing was broken. Then later on, I happened to bump into the gentleman who did the initial estimate while I was on a raft trip. He and his wife own the business. Started it years ago with one truck. They work 7 days a week and take great pride in their business. I applaud them for finding movers who share their same tremendous work ethic. Very respectable company, hard working family - I'd hire them again in a heart-beat.
