ABC Quality Moving & Storage

Aside from a glitch with their GPS, everything went very smoothly. They loaded everything with care and paid special attention to anything extremely breakable. They went all the way to Kirkwood and to 3 homes in Florissant. They were courteous, friendly and worked quite quickly moving everything from large clothing cabinets to a freezer and everything in between. I would recommend this company and these guys to anyone and would use the company again myself in the future. The company and the hard working guys they sent were worth every penny. Thank you ABC Moving and Cody, Elvis & Tarus too! We appreciate everything you did for us and at such a reasonable price too! I wish every company and their employees were as great as these guys were....

They showed up on time. The company was responsive to inquires. They were upfront regarding costs. The men were hardworking and got right to work when they arrived. They were pleasant and helpful. It is amazing to watch people move things quickly when they know how to do it. My only complaint with the company is that you have to identify any problems before the movers leave. We knew this off the bat, so we weren't mad, but were disappointed when we noticed a few damaged items after they left. Our Master bed headboard got a very significant scratch that we couldn't see until later b/c they put the bed back together. There was also minor scratches on our footboard and a place on our wall that got nicked. All in all I felt that it went great and accidents do happen, but given how great the company was, I just felt that they should have told us about the damaged areas since you can't be in every room at once when they are moving your stuff in to inspect for damage. Even given the damage, I would chose this company again and recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with the price, service, professionalism, and courtesy of ABC Quality Moving Services. They worked very diligently (we were tired just watching them!) to unload our household goods and place them, in every case as directed, on all floors of our home (yes, despite the fact that we wanted all of the book boxes upstairs!). The two movers (Cory and Steve) were, in all instances, pleasant, courteous, and careful with our items. They arrived promptly (and as promised), took a quick tour of the premises so they knew where everything was going, and started to work right away. We've moved a number of times, with good and (very) bad experiences, and this was definitely one of the best! The cost was fair and reasonable, too.

Excellent. No problems. Three men came to move all the items. They were professional, quick, and thorough.

Everything went well. Arrived on time and worked hard through the entire day. Minded the interior of the house and treated furniture very well. Could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of the move.

It went pretty good. Being a former service wife and moving all over the United States, it was better than any service I’ve used in the past. The only thing is that the medicine chest in the bathroom above the sink, but I also forgot to check that. They did deliver earlier than I expected them.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. JUSTIN EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURES AND RATES AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIOINS THAT CONCERNED ME. THEY IMMEDIATELY GOT TO WORK AND CAREFULLY HANDLED ALL OF OUR LEATHER SOFAS, WOOD FURNITURE (ESPECIALLY OUR VERY LARGE WOODEN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER WITH AN OLDER HEAVY TV) AND OUR MAHOGANY CHINA CABINET AND TABLE. THEY WERE ALSO VERY FAST IN ARRIVING AT OUR NEW HOUSE WITHIN 15 MINUTES AFTER US. THEY WERE VERY WILLING TO PLACE OUR FURNITURE WHERE WE WISHED AND EVEN WENT BEYOND WHEN WE DECIDED THE BIG ENTERTAINMENT CENTER DID NOT FIT INTO OUR LIVING ROOM AND HAD TO BE MOVED BACK TO OUR DEN AREA. WE DID DISCOVER THAT WHEN THEY LEFT, WE WERE MISSING TWO OF OUR FURNITURE MOVING FLOOR PADS OUR DAUGHTER HAD PROVIDED. I CALLED THE COMPANY THE NEXT TWO DAYS, AND THEY ARE TRYING TO TRACK THEM DOWN. BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR THEIR SERVICE.

Another amazing move by ABC. 2nd long distance move in 4 months. They even came a day early to avoid bad weather. The movers were courteous and efficient. Not one item was damaged. Once again making my stressful time much less stressful.

Chris & Ed showed up right on time, actually a few minutes early. They were courteous and professional and got right to work. They wrapped fragile glass and disassembled a dining room set which had been in place for close to 40 years. When they got to the destination, we found that part of the hutch wouldn't fit down the stairs, so they brought it back up the stairs and moved it to another room without complaint, even joking that it happens all the time. We'd definitely use this company again.

Michael came out on 11/4 to give me an estimate for the move--we discussed the need for care because of my new hardwood floors at the new villa. On moving day, Chris, Ed, and Kyler arrived on time. They worked quickly and took extreme care with my furniture. At the villa, they unloaded and placed the furniture exactly where I wanted it. They put floor coverings down to protect my new hardwood floors. They even helped me put floor protectors on all necessary furniture legs. They were very understanding and helpful when I changed my mind about where I wanted furniture placed and were willing to put items wherever I wanted them--even when I decided that the 10 boxes of books they had put in the basement needed to come back upstairs. They were all friendly and professional--I could not have asked for better assistance for my move. Not one item was damaged or missing. The moving cost was spot on with the estimate from Michael. I would recommend this company highly. If I ever move again (and I hope I don't), I would not hesitate to call them.l

The movers showed up on time, listened to my requests (be careful of new hardwood floors in the house, etc.), and worked at a brisk pace. Dan, James, and Will were the movers (so they get credit for a great job). After packing up the apartment, they took a short break and then arrived at the new house, and again worked at a quick pace. They were careful with my possessions and avoided hitting the walls and floor of the new house. They were friendly and courteous the entire time. When I asked for advice on the arrangement of furniture, they helped, and they were also patient about moving furniture around to fit the rooms better. The bill was about what I expected and was reasonable. The whole thing was as low-stress as a move can be. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Let's begin with ABC showing me my business was important even though a small move. The lady with whom I spoke on Friday November 7th told me they could move the treadmill the next day and they had a special reducing the base rate. I checked the website for the normal Saturday rate and I confirmed she gave a $20 discount. Given I was in a hurry and eager to make the move she need not have made the offer but she did and I was impressed. The movers were a 2-man team. I believe Chris was the driver. The other gentleman's name escapes me but the letters wc lt were on the receipt. I mention this because Chris said there was a competition and I want this team to get credit. The disassembly admittedly was not difficult but what impressed me was the care they took to not bump the walls with the treadmill, particularly when moving it into my new home. They were quick but careful.

Awesome!!! Greg and Cody were hard working and efficient. They had a great attitude and made a stressful time much easier.

It went perfectly! Chris, Ed and Steve J. were prompt, polite and quick. After they loaded the truck, they were going to have lunch and meet me at the new house. I stopped at the post office and gas station. While I was waiting to pull out of the gas station, I saw their truck go by! They certainly didn't take much time for lunch and they were at the new house unloading. I did not find any damage to any of the furniture. I would hire them again.

Greg and Tim arrived within the time frame promised. They introduced themselves and had me show them what I wanted moved. They were very pleasant and courteous throughout the move. They took great care to protect my furniture from damage but worked very efficiently. I was amazed at how strong they both were. They demonstrated extraordinary patience in setting up my Sleep Number bed; it completely deflated because the caps to keep the air from escaping were hidden inside the mattress. They had to spend considerable time getting the bed back just right but they stuck with it until everything was perfect. I could not be happier with their performance, attitude, and skill.

I spoke to ABC moving company three separate times regarding moving a pool table. I was told that they moved pool tables all of the time and that the move would be priced based on an hourly rate. Never during these three calls to find out about rates or scheduling was I told that they will not reassemble the table. The movers arrived at the pickup location, took apart the table and arrived at our house with the pieces and then told us they could not put the table together. Then they proceeded to charge us the minimum 3 hour rate even though they had not worked three hours, which they would have had they put together the table as I anticipated. I never would have hired them to move the table had I known they wouldn't put together what they took apart. The customer service offered throughout the ordeal was subpar. Phone calls weren't returned and no apologies were provided. I would NOT recommend using ABC moving company if you expect to have a good moving experience.

We hired ABC to move our belongings from one house to another. This included furniture (such as a large sectional), at least 5 pieces of exercise equipment, and a lot of boxes (we were moving from a 3 BR to a 4 BR house). The crew - Chris, Ed, and Brian - were fantastic. They showed up right on time. Everything was moved into the truck quickly but carefully. Once at the new house, they made sure to ask where to put things. Earlier in the morning, an appliance company had delivered an eliptical machine that they (appliance co. delivery guys) claimed could not be moved to a specific room I wanted. I told the ABC crew and they immediately moved the equipment to the room I wanted! As we've unpacked, I've found nothing broken. These guys worked really hard and really quickly. We could not have been happier with Chris, Ed and Brian and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone we know!

The morning started with the older gentlemen among the movers telling me that there was no way they could fit everything I was moving into the 16' truck that I had. I told him we would figure it out, but he kept repeating it and saying I should get a bigger truck. I caved and called Penske, finding out that there was a 22' truck in Earth City, about a half hour away. I drove out and dropped off the smaller truck, picked up the bigger one, at an extra $500 expense. It's not that I got the bigger truck that irks me now, later, but that the mover was so rude about, and insistent upon, it. The movers brought everything outside while I was getting the truck, and then began loading once I returned, and, all in all, they didn't take very long--the thing that, at the time, pleased me about them. Once they had finished, I got to see what the truck looked like: they had stacked boxes and all square-ish items in the front third of the truck, leaving an incredible amount of extra room, and then dumped a pile of miscellaneous items all together in the remainder of the truck. This bothered me for a few reasons: first, it made it impossible to get to the back of the truck to make any adjustments to the boxes. Second, the pile included items like: picture frames, a bike, wire racks, etc., all of which at different levels of breakability with no kind of protection or padding or thought as to the order everything ought to go in. But lastly, it irked me because they were so insistent that I needed a larger truck, and yet the majority of this one remained unused. I, as well as everyone else involved, thought that the 16' truck would've been adequate once seeing their packing job. It was a lot of extra money spent that need not have been spent. Once I got to unpacking these things, I realized that ABC Movers had not taken any of the instructions on the box (i.e., "FRAGILE" or "STACK NOTHING ON TOP") and had just ignored that and put things wherever, with whatever on top of them. Nearly every picture frame got cracked, of course--they were stacked on top of each other!--but they refuse to take responsibility for breakables OR for furniture they deem crappy--particle board and the like--as well as a litany of other things that lets them avoid all responsibility. Moreover, they were overpriced and generally rude, especially the older man who was so insistent on getting the larger truck. Their names were Don, Jerry, and Undre, but I don't know who was who.

I had used the in the past. They have moved me twice. I used the company for about 6 hours with a crew of 2. I led them around and showed them how to get to certain places. The movers were very nice and young guys. They were very efficient workers. They are great to work with and will move whatever you need moved. They are very careful your things and make sure to not damage any of your belongings. I had no problem scheduling their service.

Movers were very professional. Kevin W., James, Tarus and Undray were superfast, polite, and took great care with our belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My movers were James, Walt and Billy. They showed up on time and ready to start. James quickly ran over the program again since I set up the move several weeks prior. Once they started, they did not stop until the move was complete. Walt and Billy did a great job of getting items out of the apartment and being sure nothing was damaged. Desks, curio cabinets etc. were all shrink wrapped. Wood items were all protected with moving pads. James made sure everything was loaded properly, so to not be damaged during the move. It was a short move, but nothing was damaged and all was placed exactly where I wanted it in our new home. The total time including the one hour drive/return charge was 3.75 hours to move me entirely. I cannot stress how courteous and professional the crew was in moving our furniture. Thanks to James, Walt and Billy for an easy stress free move. Don't rely on friends and family, spend the money and let these guys do your moving!

Great. Cody, James and Kyle were wonderful. They arrived promptly a little before 9 and worked without stopping until 2. Our new home is over 100 years old and has a very narrow staircase to the second floor. The team warned us that our two sleeper sofas might not make it up the stairs but they would try. They wrestled with them and finally got them up and into the rooms - hooray! Our queen-sized box spring couldn't make it, but otherwise they managed to get everything where we wanted it to be. We were so relieved. Thank you all!

Went very well as it did the 5 times prior. We have used ABC all month long. Started on 9/2 and ended Monday with our final day. James Kevin W and Walt were on time and did another great job for us. Would certainly recommend ABC to anyone who has moving needs.

It went great. The crew (Kyle, Will and Steve F) were professional, hard working and really nice guys. They were prompt and did not seem waste any time. They put each piece of furniture exactly where I wanted it and put the heavy oak bed together and the mirror back on the dresser. All boxes were marked by room and they were also placed in the correct locations. This was really a big help keeping them separated. ABC Quality Movers also has really great rates but it is the guys like Kyle, Will and Steve F that will make me recommend using this company.

My reviews are getting redundant as this is the 4th time we have used ABC since 9/2/14. And we used them for the 5th time on 9/19! We have had James the entire time and Walt and Kevin W the last 4 times. The guys are just great. That is all I keep saying. We have had them move a ridiculous amount of storage, lots of furniture, and a packing day and they have maintained a great attitude! We will miss them. They come one more time on Monday 9/22 and no offense guys, but we hope this it!
