glass repair, replacement windows

The church contacted MO leaded glass to do restoration on the windows. There is no local business which provides that service. The owner, Mr. McArthur was very interested, very thorough, gave detailed procedures of what he would do. He was paid travel expenses to drive about 360 miles to the church and look at the windows personally. He hired a local contractor, over the phone, to do wood work preparations. At the end of the first day of work, Mr. McArthur paid the contractor and gave him directions for the remaining work that needed to be done while he returned to Raytown with the stained glass windows. When McArthur returned, a week later, he basically "threw a fit" about the wood work preparations. He did not have to redo any of the contractor's work and he did not have any more preparations to do. Church members who were present during all working hours, vouched for the wood work preparation, but Mr. McArthur refused to pay. Reason: Performed unauthorized, poor quality work. From that point on, he complained about every window, the company that first made the windows, the way the church was built, the way the light was reflected, etc.,etc. He gave the impression that he would rather be anywhere but there. Upon completion of the Church project he left 2 windows with no reinforcing bars and one broken stained glass pane. All of the protective plastic lexan panes began falling out within one week and had to be stripped because he had scantilly siliconed them in place. He will not answer phone calls and will not respond to phone messages, e-mails, nor a certified letter (which he did sign for).
Description of Work: Restoration of 12 leaded, stained glass windows of a church to their original condition and put in new, protective lexan panes with UVB filters and vents.
