We got the impression from the others that they didn't want to take on the work, they didn't return phone calls, etc. Mike was FANTASTIC - he met all promised deadlines, responded promptly, was always courteous and helped us come up with the best solution for a complicated problem. When they were working they were very clean, used drop cloths to cover floor, etc and cleaned up after themselves when the work was done. They completed the work on time and within budget. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Mike again for any electrical needs!
Description of Work: We had a complicated job - moving an electrical junction box to meet new codes.

+ -1 moreSince 1998, Mike Ashley & Crown Elec. have performed more than a dozen projects for us. They have added outlets where we thought none could be added & installed outdoor lamps & a waterfall feature that were time consuming, yet priced fairly. They also converted our kitchen lights from florescent to modern recessed lights. They completely designed & installed electircal heating, lighting & cable TV connections for a media room that we added. Alll top notch work. They are always available for small jobs as well as major projects. I could not recommend them more highly.
Description of Work: Installed a remote ceiling fan & reconfigured connections.

Description of Work: This is my third call to Mike. His communication and work are exemplary. He returns calls in a timely manner and arrives when he says he will. He and his son worked for 4 1/2 hours, installing four surge-protected motion lights and a GFCI box for a heated birdbath. They replaced a wall light in the living room with the challenge of a heating duct discovered under the sheetrock. An electrical outlet was installed in the basement with the previous light replaced. Most issues were complicated by the age of the house. Long ago electrical work was checked for safety. Many miscellaneous questions were cheerfully answered. These guys are the BEST, and I'm fussy.

+ 0 moreThey are very professional, seemed very competent, and are nice people. They do a job that doesn't die on you. They don't come in and try to make you think you got a deal that you didn't. They were honest about it and seemed reasonable. It's a good company.
Description of Work: They put in my motion lights in the front and back of my house. They also re wired a wall so that I could put a dog door in place of it.
