Description of Work: They had a $100.00 Service charge I thought was rediculous, The fuse was replaced and went out again the second time I used the dishwasher. I replaced the dishwasher only to discover a mouse had chewed through the power cable, the tech never pulled the machine out to discover why the fuse had blown. The repair actually cost 50% more than the used dishwasher I replaced it with.

+ -1 moreCharlie was very courteous from the moment he came into our home. He diagnosed and fixed our sensor problem and cleaned up when he was done. Very impressed.
Description of Work: Our 20 year old side by side built in refridgerator wasn't cooling properly. Charlie from Clayton Appliance came out and diagnosed the problem as a defrost sensor problem.

+ -1 moreClayton's sent a young man to repair it and he found that a part needed to be replaced. Amana only made this style refrigerator for a short time and the part that was needed is no longer available. The next day, the owner of Clayton's came himself and soldered the part in question and told me that sometimes that worked but if it didn't, the refrigerator would have to be replaced. He didn't charge me for the second call. The refrigerator worked for another three weeks and then died and I replaced it. I was impressed that Clayton's followed through with a second attempt at the repair even though it didn't work out in the end. It is not their fault that Amana had stopped supporting this style refrigerator.

+ -1 moreOur microwave just up and died yesterday. I searched Angie's List and found Clayton's Appliance repair and gave them a call. They scheduled the appointment around my schedule when Clayton arrived he was very professional. Got right into the beast and found the blown sensor. Repaired on the spot and now the micro is back on line.
