+ -1 moreI hired Absolute Masonry in June 2020 to do tuckpointing and brick replacement around my property. The initial work was done promptly but some work was not done correctly and I requested they return to finish the work. They returned and did make some corrections. After the winter, one brick they replaced came completely loose and the mortar applied in some areas broke off and chipped away. I have sent multiple emails and left several voice mails to discuss how we can work together to correct this and I have received no responses.

+ -1 moreExcellent Work on our chimney. Price was lower in comparison to two other companies who provided quotes. The workers were friendly, with great attitudes and they performed their task in a timely & professional manner. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: - Set scaffolding to properly access the chimney for repair - Chisel off existing cement crown and top 3 courses of brick - Matching brick as close as possible, rebuild top 3 courses of brick - Grind and tuck point entire chimney from the roof up - Grind and tuck point a few small areas beneath the roofline where mortar is missing - Replace any broken clay flue liners at the top of the chimney - Build new high strength cement crown reinforced with 1/2 inch rebar on top course of brick

Description of Work: Chimney Repair -Chisel off existing crown and 7 courses of brick - Matching brick as close as possible, rebuild chimney back to it’s current height and dimensions - Grind and tuck point cracked/missing mortar joints beneath top 7 courses of brick down to roofline -Install limestone on the top course of brick with 1.5-2 inch overhang to provide for proper water dispersion away from the chimney below - Cut drip edge into the bottom side of limestone as a drip edge to prevent water from dripping down the chimney - Build new high strength cement crown reinforced with ½ inch rebar on top of limestone sill stones - We will dispose of all old chimney brick - Canvas tarps to be placed on the roof and surrounding chimney to protect shingles - Tarps to be placed on the ground to protect from debris

+ 0 moreThe crew came two days ahead of schedule. 😊 The chimney looks great. The guys were friendly. They had a bit of excitement, when bats flew out of the chimney when they were breaking off the old brick! Pleased with the job, even though there was some mortar in the rocks and on the grass. The cost was reasonable, and they were able to do the job quickly.

A quote came shortly after, then the crew came out to take care of the Masonry job. Absolutes Crew did an exceptional job. They were efficient, maintained a professional atmosphere, and workmanship was off the chart. I would highly recommend Absolute Masonry, and will be using their services again for future projects. You will be pleased working with them. I will have to post pictures to the job later, as it is night time as I write this review.

I was very disappointed because Jason contacted me very soon after I searched on Angie's List and his ratings were excellent, so I assumed it would be a good experience.

+ -1 moreOnce I booked the project Jason kept time, called to keep me updated as to the delivery of the stone, and did a fantastic job of completing the project on time and within budget. He even went so far as to vacuum my living room carpet to remove the dust created after he was finished! Would hire him again without even thinking!
Description of Work: Jason took down the old cement mold fireplace facade and replaced it with stone. I would absolutely recommend Absolute Masonry to anyone wanting to work with a top rate craftsman. Jason called within 30 seconds of receiving my inquiry, came out the same day to inspect the project and sent a quotation just a few hours later.

+ -1 moreBricks were falling apart and coming off because of the crack in the crown called Jason and he came out next day and sent me a estimate via email couple weeks later i decided to have the work done they came out on the he said they would and had the job done that day they made sure to cover the roof and when they were finished they made sure site was clean.15 year warranty also.
