We hired The Construction Group Inc. to replace our roof and gutters that were damaged by a hail storm that came through. (The company was referred to us by a friend) We met with the owner Scott who was a joy to work with. Scott spent a great deal of time inspecting our home and even met with the insurance adjuster to make sure nothing was missed. The work was completed about 3 weeks later. His roofing team was very nice, and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. The gutters were replaced a few days later. What a difference it made. Scott recommended a new kind of shingle in a color that I just love! Later in the year, we decided to make some upgrades to the inside of the house in preparation for a move. (Our kitchen and bathrooms still had that 70's look,) Scott came back out this time with his remodeler "Bill" who had some great ideas and was wonderful to work with. Bill and his workers remodeled both of our bathrooms and the kitchen. The work took about 6 weeks in all. They did a great job putting up plastic and keeping the house clean given what they had to do. We love the work they did and wonder why we waited so long to do it. I would certainly hire Scott and his team again.

I have to say, we were very impressed. My husband and I bought a new home this summer and it was a bit of a fixer upper. Some of the work we could do ourselves but many projects were just too big for us to take on. We knew from our home inspection that the roof and siding were in desperate need of replacement plus some windows and gutter work too. The Construction Group Inc. was one of 4 contractors we contacted for the various jobs. After meeting with each company we chose Scott. He wasn't the cheapest but I have learned from mistakes in the past that when it comes to construction projects you get what you pay for. Scott provided a detailed inspection of our home and even pointed out a few issues that were missed by our home inspection. He was patient with our many questions and provided a very detailed estimate for the work to be done. The work started about three weeks after we agreed to the proposal and took about 5 weeks to complete which was about a week longer than Scott estimated, but we had several rain storms during the project and the workers showed up every day they could. The siders found some framing damage that looked like carpenter ants. Scott and his carpenter looked over the damage and quoted a price for the repairs which I thought was reasonable and took care of it right away. Scott was good about keeping my husband and I informed as the project progressed. When the work was done, Scott walked around with us to make sure the work was done right. We found only a few few small items that needed attention and Scott was good about taking care of them quickly. I would also like to note that they took the extra step to hire a pest control company to come out and spray for ants to be sure we did not have more damage in the future. Over all we were very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Scott was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Provided and explained quote and answered all my questions as a first time homeowner. Completed the project in a timely manner and at a fair price. He even called after the job was done. Overall, we were very happy with them and would use them again!

Scott was wonderful to work with, I would highly recommend him and his crew. Very responsible, reliable and professional. We got three bids for our gutter install and he was comparably priced and used higher quality materials. After the gutters were installed, we had a couple minor issues with water runoff and Scott was quick to get his crew out here to resolve the issue. We are very happy with the service we received and we wouldn't hesitate to call on The Construction Group for future projects with our home.

We interviewed six different roofing contractors, and Scott impressed us the most. He was very professional, did a great job in explaining what he thought our roofing problems were, and was able to communicate clearly his plan for how to address those problems. He was very good at educating us about roofing! After tearing off our roof, evidence showed that his diagnosis of our roofing problems was correct. He looked under the decking in certain areas of the roof just to make sure there were no additional problems with insulation or venting. He uses high quality products, and the workers did a great job both with the roofing and the gutters, as well as the cleanup! He is also very responsive in answering phone calls and emails promptly. It all went smoothly and the work was done in a timely manner. It was a pleasure working with Scott and his crews, and we would highly recommend The Construction Group!

Answering service left the impression that he would call back sooner, but later found out that he was out for a week. Finally made connection. Provided a detailed proposal in a very professional manner. Opted to go with another vendor.

They did a great job. Came out when they said they would and were done quickly. Would definitely recommend.

orScott did an excellent job of letting us know when his team would be at the house to do the work. The crews were very professional. They did a great job of making sure none of my plants were damaged. They make sure that the area where they worked were clean before they left. This has not been the case with other contractors I have used in the past. I highly recommend them. There are awesome. I give them an A++

Mr. Campbell came on time and was a very nice, friendly and professional. But the job estimation was a little higher than our budget that time, thus no job was performed last year.

I tried to get an estimate from this company -- first appointment time we had was cancelled and later they stopped by my house when I was not home and sent me an email saying they would decline to provide an estimate because they said i have asbestos siding -- I have been told previously by my insurance company that the siding is not asbestos. My negative review is due to the manner of communication. The person who was supposed to come out (I don't know if he is the owner) not only cancelled our first appointment but then didn't bother to even call me with his decision not to provide an estimate-- but sent his response by email. This all seemed very unprofessional to me. I am glad he declined the job because I later hired the best company I have ever had do any work at my house. The company ultimately used was top notch -- and I found them on Angies list.

We had a bid that was cheaper from someone else so we decided to go with them.

I was very impressed with the job they did, especially the clean up. They worked quite awhile on clearing the driveway to make sure no nails or trash was left behind. My driveway hasn't looked that clean in a long time! They also had to fix a hole that was in the roof from the previous owners gas stove which was never patched, just tiled over. When they did the estimate, he knew that this was the area that was most likely causing a leak in the garage while another company that came out for an estimate said there was nothing wrong with that area - said he walked on it and it was steady so was trying to tell me that it was where the roof met the porch and would have involved more money. They were very professional and did what they said they would in the timeline that they presented. Would definitely use them again!

The Construction Group workers were very professional and delivered as promised. Scott Campbell came to our home to quote the job and did not try to oversell.

It went very well. They were very knowledgeable, we went with them, and everything went out really well. We had them do some other work as well, so, it was an addition. They helped us to figure out what the problem was, what we needed, and knew a lot. We had several different issues that we were working with and they were very helpful in giving us advice. My husband was very impressed with the person who came out. It was really good.

I recd and estimate from this contractor and 3 other estimates. All others were significantly lower, as much as 40% lower.

Scott explains everything carefully, is thorough and professional and on time. I would definitely contact him again. We are very happy with the work he did.

Received prompt contact from provider for an estimate. Estimate was provided but we decided to use a different provider.

Too expensive and not clear with measurements.

Blew insulation into the knee walls of my 1 1/2 story. They also provided quotes for future work in the attic space. | |Cannot give them an A as they required cash or check . . . it seems a bit odd they do not take debit or credit cards. I lost out on the points and had to find and dust off the checkbook.

Quote is 2 times higher than other competitive proposals. Even with the $500 coupon, we would still be paying a few hundred more than the regular price from other vendors.

The initial communication of getting and estimate went well. I have done research on this type of service and talked to several people in the industry. This company was unique in informing me not worry about any ventilation and during the estimate. Scott said, that they would just spray foam in all space in my soffits! Unheard of. I researched this more and it did not add up. I didn't get the estimate for almost 2 weeks when finally I contacted them. Scott said, it was emailed to me (I back checked and have any record of it, but was emailed the estimate immediately Scott called me). At this point, I found everything questionable and was not comfortable pursuing any service with them and I would not recommend them to anyone based on the communication issues and the lack of concern of proper venting.

Scott came out to give an estimate on replacing insulation for our attic and while the bid came back as a fair price, it was higher than what I wanted to spend at this time.

Called the company to set up an apt. They came on time, reviewed what would be needed to bring the R-rating up to R-50 (they recommended). The additional cost was $1898.00. I wasn't interested in going forward. Requesting $99.00 refund.

The person from Construction Group came and inspected the attic for insulation and told me he would e-mail me the cost. His name was Scott Campbell. He did send the e-mail and the cost was $3131, which was minus the $99 I paid. The $99 for $500 worth of attic insulation was the tip of the iceberg and I cannot afford $3131.
