Steve was very responsive to our call and squeezed us in before our carpeting was installed. He was friendly and professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again.

Steve was very easy to work with, completely professional. He was enthusiastic about his work. He did what he said he would do and more. He was always on time, worked carefully and efficiently, paid attention to details. He was accommodating when I had to ask him to come later on the last day and he finished the job on schedule. I felt safe having him here which is important to me, living alone.I would definitely recommend him to others and hire him again myself.

Working with Steve was a joy!!! He is truly a professional and a gem to find. I would definitely ask him to do future work in our home and recommend his work to family and friends. I contacted Steve for a painting consultation and he arrived on time to quote the work a few days later. Steve struck me as a professional, friendly and very skilled painter. He asked appropriate questions and provided me with a detailed, itemized quote including paint, supplies and labor prior to leaving our home that evening. We scheduled the work a few weeks later and Steve came out to the house the week prior to go over last minute details with me including specifics about colors and which hardware would go back on the walls when the painting was finished. When Steve left I was confident that the work would be done the way we wanted. Steve performed the job while we were out of town the following week. He was trust-worthy and cared for our home as we would have. He even brought in packages the UPS person left on the front steps. Upon arriving home, nearly half of our house had been re-painted to excellent standards. He was attuned to details and made sure all the paint lines were precise. I am a perfectionist and was very happy with the work Steve did for us. Steve will be our first call for future painting projects! Thank you Steve!

Steve did a great job. If you ever wonder if it's worth it to hire a professional, hire Steve and you'll know that the answer is yes! He painted two floors of my townhouse including a very high wall on the open stairway. The colors he covered were dark and the new colors were light...it worked out quite well. Steve is prompt and fastidious. He moved the furniture and put it back. The work area was well organized and hardly impacted my living space as he moved from room to room. His estimates are accurate and he is friendly and trustworthy.

We were very happy with the service. Steven was a super guy to work with and it was a great experience. We would recommend him. He did the work alone and the scheduling was wonderful. He gave us a quote based on the floor plan and he worked on the job for more than a week. He was easy to work with as he worked around the carpet being cleaned. He was clean and neat with the work.

Steve was hired to paint our second floor ceilings, window trim in the bathroom, bathroom cabinet, two corner cabinets and the stairwell. He also repaired all drywall on our second floor so we could paint the rooms ourselves. Steve came the day after Christmas when we were away for the holiday. He is professional, punctual and trustworthy. I appreciated the time he took everyday to clean up after himself and also the tips he freely gave for us to paint the upstairs ourselves. It was a pleasure to meet Steve, and I would hire him again!

Steve was professional, from the start we had three bids from other companies but went with Steve because of his professionalism and knowledge. He was able to complete the project in a timly manner. The hose looks clean and the paint colors we picked make the house our home. Thanks!

Steve was punctual, professional and efficient. He did a very nice job and I would hire him again. I did not get bids from other vendors so cannot compare his rates. I have done a lot of painting in the past and it was worth it to me to have it done professionally this time.

Overall Steve did a very nice job for us. He was professional and provided quality workmanship. On day two we allowed Steve to work in our home while we were at work. My wife and I never do this, but we felt comfortable enough with Steve to give him unsupervised access to our home. I would use Schultze Paiting in the future.

I need some popcorn on my ceiling but he didn't do that work so I had to use someone else. He was very polite, nice, punctual and I did like him.

I wish I could give Steve an A+. After getting bids from 3 other painters I chose Steve Schultze to do the job. Steve came out to give me a free estimate and then deducted 10% off the job due to an Angie's List coupon. I needed the kitchen, master bathroom, and guest bathroom painted. First Steve had to remove all the wallpaper in the guest bathroom and repair and wash the walls. He also helped me to choose a color for the kitchen. Steve is a perfectionist. He is a skilled painter. There is not one area that I would consider sloppily done or needing touch ups. He treats your house like his. He cleaned up after himself and didn't get any paint on woodwork, counters, etc.. He is very personable, professional, prompt, respectful, and considerate. While he was here my neighbor asked him if he would have time to remove some wallpaper borders in her bedroom. So while he was waiting for my paint to dry he went between the two condos and helped her out too. I can't say enough nice things about him. I am already telling everybody I know that when they need a painter they should call Steve.

Our experience was wonderful. Steve was able to give us an estimate quickly, and committed to a project start date that was perfect for our project timeline. Steve arrived on time, understood our needs and gave us a very competitive estimate. We did receive other bids, but they were higher and we weren't as confident the others understood exactly what we needed. Also, the fact that Steve was able to do each piece of the project was a big plus. We spoke to others who could do the drywall repair work, but then would have needed to hire a separate painter, and vice versa. The project spanned over 4 days due to the need to repair the ceiling, scrape the popcorn, re-spray the popcorn and then paint. Steve arrived on time, or a few minutes early each day, was always very courteous and the work is beautiful. I could not be happier with the results!

Steve responded to my Angies list request very quickly and came out the same day to provide me with a quote. From quote to finish was less then a week. He was great!

He started and finished the job on time. He was working in my home for 5 days. He's a true professional painter. He was respectful of my family and our living spaces. He cleaned up every day. He left no messes for me to contend with. His painting was impeccable. I wish I had known Steve years ago. I will hire him again.

Overall I am very pleased with the work that Steve did in our house. We have popcorn ceilings and the precision that Steve had from the ceiling line to the wall is fantastic. You can tell that Steve has a high level of expertise with every room that he painted. It went very well. Steve was great to work with and very professional. The painting was done on time and very nicely, especially the vaulted living room. Steve took great care with our furnishings and everything looked perfect when he was finished. We would definitely hire again or refer to others.

I found Steve on Angie's List. He was able to come out an provide an estimate for the work shortly after we talked. I explained to Steve the tight timeline to get the house painted, flooring installed and house on the market. Steve was able to work within our timeframe and get the job done. He was very professional, kept me updated on status, and even provided me some tips on painting! I would definitely use Steve again!

The most important thing to know in this review is that I am hiring Steve again to paint my new house. I hired Steve after calling three Angie's list contractors. He returned my call immediately and was able to fit my time schedule - it was tight because we were getting ready to list our house for sale. I particularly like that Steve personally estimates and does the work himself. I am a DIY painter for the last 40 years and I am particular about quality results - Steve exceeded my standards! Thanks to Steve's great work and that of two other Angie's List contractors, we sold our house in 8 days. Steve's work was mentioned by several of those looking at the house.
