Capital Siding Windows & Roofing

After numerous quotes, Jeff was the only person who came to my house who offered and looked at the attic for possible decking issues. Jeff was extremely prompt in scheduling an estimate. and the bid came in among the lowest. Once I decided to go with Capital, I was able to schedule the work on the day that worked in my schedule within a week. Workers arrived exactly on time, kept me updated on progress, and had the job completed within one day. My yard was completely cleaned up, and the roof looks great! Couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work.

I hired Capital Siding because their bid was comparable to other bids that I had gotten, but they could do the work within a week or two whereas the others had a 4-6 week wait. I was happy with their scheduling, responsiveness to calls, and the cleanliness of their work, as they cleaned up every bit of shingles and nails and left nothing behind. There were two small issues: one, they told me the whole job would be done in a day but they only got the house done and not the detached garage. They came back the next day to work on the detached garage but only did a little of the work and disappeared, only to reappear the third day to finally finish that part of the job. Also, I had asked that the edge of the bay window be sealed carefully because we'd had problems with bees nesting there. Despite my request that it be done it was only really half done and I had to ask them to come back and do it more completely. They were happy to come back and do that small thing, so I was happy too. Overall, they were super responsive to my calls and concerns and I was very happy with the outcome, which looks great.

From estimate and finish, they did a great job. Jeff suggested colors when I didn't know where to begin. Everything came together perfectly.

Crew was professional, did beautiful work, and cleaned up very well. Jeff was receptive to changes we wanted performed in relation to the first estimate and price did not change. He could have charged us more for the changes we requested. Jeff and Sheila were very receptive to all our questions and concerns dealing with our insurance company and helped make our lives easier. Their pleasant demeanor never changed regardless of what we requested. I would highly recommend them to anyone and if we have a need for siding or windows we will be using them.

My husband and I are 60 year old avid " do it yourselfers" and absolutely dreaded ever having to put our trust in any contractor to do work on our home. This spring, we realized our tired old 1986 masonite type siding no longer could be revived with paint and minor repair, so I joined Angie's' List to assist in finding a trustworthy contractor. After meeting with four contractors, all of who had excellent reviews on the list, I met with Jeff Moore, owner of Capital Siding. He was very knowledgeable about products and their application . I felt he had the integrity to do exactly what we wanted and of equal importance, exactly what he said he would do. His final bid was on the low end, which was also a plus. After thoroughly researching siding types, and changeing our mind several times,(Jeff was very patient with all of my questions and indecision) we finally decided on Norandex Polar Wall plus due to Consumer Reports ratings and ease of maintainance. The siding crew of four were professional, friendly, and competant. The crew leader, John, had exceptional attention to detail, and since I was home during the install, he always asked my input on even small decisions and was never impatient with my questions and suggestions. My husband and I are incredibly pleased with the finsihed siding project. Our house now looks awesome-like brand new. We will not hesitate to reccomend Jeff Moore and Captital Siding to anyone who is very particular about getting a quality job. In fact, our next door neighbor, who knows how particular we are about our house, is having Capitial reside their house too.

Jeff was great to deal with and very helpful when dealing with our insurance company. He made good suggestions and was patient with my many call.

Plenty of good communication and quick turnaround on quotes and material samples.The job was completed on schedule with only a few weather related delays (Jeff always kept me up to date on the workers and when to expect them) The work looks great and exceeded my expectations.Materials were removed with minimal impact on lawn and garden.Payment was not due until completion of the project.

I had hail damage from a storm in my area in May. Jeff came out and met the independent insurance guy and spent a long time on the roof with him going over all the areas and being very personable to the agent. When the inspection was completed the insurance adjuster basically said that he would recommend that I get a whole new roof. I am convinced that one of the main reasons for that recommendation was because Jeff was there and very knowledgeable about my roof and roofing in general. So he kept the adjuster honest. After I got the final OK from the insurance company, Jeff had everything in place. The dumpster and siding came along with a great roofing crew. They basically put my whole roof on in a day, working until the sun went down. They just came back the next day to do a fabulous clean-up job around the entire house. They got all the nails, old shingles etc. They left the outside nicer than when they came. The crew was very helpful, easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Also the noise was nothing like it was when I had Sela do a roof for me many years ago. Would use them again in a heart beat and would recommend them to anyone. Jeff pays attention to all the details, even the little ones, which is what puts his company over the top for me.

I used this company in the past to side my house and I thought the overall experience was excellent from start to finish. I was recently in need of a few repairs so I thought I would try them again. Jeff came over my house in a timely fashion and provided me with a verbal estimate which I accepted. Once again, the work was performed quickly and with very high quality. You cannot go wrong doing business with this company and I will definitely use them on future projects on my home.

From the minute Jeff came to the house until the last detail was handled, Jeff was incredibly professional, personable, helpful, responsive and flexible. His crew was exactly the same way. They all went above and beyond the call of duty for me. Jeff was great during the bidding process and was very very competitive and generous. He seemed as excited about updating my house and making it look as good as it could, as I did. He had great suggestions and ideas and always responded to my calls or emails the same day and may times the same hour. The crew always cleaned up every night which was important to me as I have dogs and kids. The job went very smoothly and they were always on top of even the littlest details which I appreciated. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work on my house. Then when we had some hail in my neighborhood, Jeff met my insurance adjuster at the house and by the end of their time on the roof together. I ended up getting a whole new roof which Capital Siding will put on my house in July. It was so good to have a friendly knowledgeable face talking to the adjuster. I think it made all the difference in my claim.

Capital Siding Windows & Construction - (Jeff and crew) got our business in part because of the great job they did on our roof four year ago. Jeff's bid was detailed, prompt and competitive. To date, the deck has been demo'd off the house, new posts put in, the siding is being taken off and Tyvek wrapped. The site is always neat and clean, Jeff's crews are as great as the time he did our roof and information and responsiveness and openness about what needs to be done and how to fix a problem remain Jeff's strength. We can't wait for it to be done, because we think it will be great. We will update when finished.

We thought their price was competitive compared to other people. He was very thorough and dependable. He said he was going to do it and he did it. He sent the building permit in the mail two days ago, everything is all according to the rules and the inspection report is posted. He takes very good care of you. He has done work for us in the past four years ago.

We decided to contract with Capital Siding because we were positively impressed by Jeff's detailed knowledge and professionalism, and by the positive reviews. The work started earlier than we expected, in about 3 weeks after the agreement, but the weather in December was very cold and it snowed a lot, so it took a little bit longer than scheduled. We asked for a few creative solutions for some problems, and Jeff and the crew understood us and came with good ideas. One problem was that on one side, the first floor of the house extended two feet beyond the foundation, creating an overhang that was poorly insulated. They added insulation and fascia to the underside of the overhang and it helped a lot over the winter. We also wanted that rainwater be diverted from flowing on a patio door and John built a small cover on top of the door. Everything worked fine although the weather was very bad, but they still continued their work and finished it in good time. We also admired how the team got along, everybody was in good spirits despite the cold weather and the difficult work. We enjoyed hearing their talk, laugh and listen to music. Now, that the snow melted, we can admire the new siding and door and are very happy.

They spent a lot of time working with our insurance company. The people who did the work were really nice. They were great to work with. They were great and easy to work with. They did a great jot and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Jeff was prompt, professional, knowledgeable. When I chose his company, he brought the team from Eagle Windows by Anderson out to measure and walk me through the process. I didn't think we could get it done before the end of the year for my tax rebate, Jeff insisted they could and they did. Overall they did a great job, but some things were not to my standards, as would be expected in any project of this size. Jeff and Eagle Windows were very attentive to my every concern and stayed with me until I was completely satisfied. The windows are incredible. I am more than happy with the end result.

We had been contacted by several roofers who offered free estimates to repair the roof after hail damage. We contacted Capital to get another bid as their Angie's rating was higher. Their bid was significantly lower. They were prompt, responsive and did great work.

Everything was done, start to finish, in a very effective and professional manner. We will use again when we replace windows. I will recommend this company to my family and friends.

Jeff is extremely attentive and communicative. They will be putting all new windows upstairs in December.

We sought three proposals from the highest rated contractors on Angie's list. We chose Jeff Moore's company because he was the most articulate and detailed in explaining the options and what he proposed to do. He also proposed some intelligent solutions to issues that the other contractors had overlooked. Jeff also was happy to return to the site several times to review details prior to our finally choosing his firm. Our scheduled start date was set back a few weeks because the Marvin window company could not produce the windows on schedule, but once started the work went smoothly. Jeff's crews - window and door installation, painting, electrical, and siding - were all first rate professionals. The siding crew under their leader, John, were efficient, quite, and attentive to minor details. Quality control throughout the project was first-rate. The site was cleaned at the end of each work day. We have worked with many excellent contractors over the years, but our experience with Capital was arguably the least problematic and the most enjoyable. We were particularly impressed that the crew shared potluck lunches on the site.

I had obtained 5 estimates for new windows for the entire house. Jeff Moore (owner) took the time to show me many options, and his quote was absolutely in line with what I was hoping (less than several others). He even got the factory to agree to custom build a huge sliding glass door for us - no other company was able to do that - and they also agreed to guarantee it! The installers showed up on the day he said they would, and they were amazingly respectful with our house. They did a fabulous job putting in the new windows - when they left after 3 days the house was exactly the way it was when they came, except we had beautiful, new, QUIET windows!! I have heard horror stories with window replacement and was ready for just about anything. Not only was this easy, they had arranged for all the trim to be stained at the factory, too, so we were completely done when they left! They even fixed our crooked weather vane while they were on the roof!! I can't recommend them enough - you'll be in good hands with Jeff Moore!

They did a very good job with the windows. The interaction went very well. The person who did the window replacements and cutting two new windows did a very good job. They seemed like they knew what they were doing and cleaned up very well. They were very good and easy to work with. It was a good experience. The windows were pricey, but the labor was okay.

The price they gave us ranged from $1,000-$8,000 depending on what type of project we were looking for. The salesman was very personable and had a lot of ideas. He was very patient and was obviously on a schedule, but seemed to have a lot of time to discuss my concerns and questions. That was very helpful because we have never done a project like that before. He was a very nice person and was very accommodating and came back twice. He was also able to give us quotes after we changed our mind and we think that he went above or beyond.

It was excellent. They do great work and are easy to work with. I am very pleased with the service.

I am very impressed with Jeff and his entire crew. From start to finish, I was impressed with their customer service, professionalism, knowledge, cleanliness, great communication and punctuality. They left our home cleaner on the outside than it was before they did the work! They even replaced a broken motion detector light at no extra charge! Jeff's customer service and communication skills are phenomenal. He explained everything that they were going to do and more. He was very honest and extremely knowledgeable in all things having to do with the gutters, soffits and fascia. He also explained other work that would be good to get done (insulation and painting) and gave me contacts. He listened to my concerns of waking up my 2 year old from her nap and he and the crew made sure not to work on that side of the house during her nap time. The crew was always on time, polite, professional, and listened to all of my concerns. They communicated with me everything that would be going on for the day. They were quick, too. They actually finished their work ahead of schedule! It was wonderful! And again, they left the outside of our house cleaner than before the work was done! I would use this company again and I have already told my friends how wonderful they are!
