Very prompt and courteous. Professional work and would highly recommend for any home improvement projects.

My project was replacement of rotted deck posts. This was complicated by utility lines running near the old posts and because the posts had been buried 4 feet down without footings. Cross Construction was able to remove the old posts and install deep concrete footings and new posts that comply with current building codes. Cross Construction also took care of obtaining the building permit (which wasn't easy because key city and county people were out of town). Cross Construction finished the project quickly and with excellent quality.

Steve was up to task for re-facing a large wood deck with Trex composite decking. He worked well with my material supplier with the materials needed with very little overage which I was able to return. He took the time to make sure everything was done right and up to Minnesota codes. All the other 5-star reviews are spot-on. I more than highly recommend.

Steve is always on time and returns phone calls promptly. He worked around my timeline, which was great. He was able to take the rough ideas I had about how things should look and he made them work. He made sure everything he did was to code. He created a couple of closets and rebuilt a stairway for us in our house. Everything turned out great. We would hire him again.

Not only did Steve show up the next day after I e-mail him describing what I needed, he also measured all 11 porch windows but gave me 2 options of prices and styles from a local business I suggested. He left the business all the information so all I had to do was ok it. Not only did he install them the day after they arrived , he also drove to the store to get them and took my old ones away. I am very impressed and will have more projects for him in the future.

Steve did an outstanding job repairing and updating my deck. I am very pleased with his work. He will certainly get more jobs from me when I have projects that need completing.
