Professionalism is completely lost on Dick's Electric. We were looking for someone to come out and give us an estimate for installing a new breaker panel and hot tub hookup at our house. After calling and leaving several messages outlining my needs, available times that I would like him to come out to our house, and so on, I never got a call back. Finally, I called and got someone on the phone to talk to. The entire conversation felt like he was inconvenienced by me calling and asking for a quote. When I told him about the project, and how I wanted to run a new line for a hot tub, he told me that 'You can't do that in Winona with all the overhead lines". While that may be true in the more residential areas, we don't live in a very residential area, and have no overhead lines anywhere near our house. He didn't even take the time to ask about our house, or situation, just made assumptions after wrong assumption. We finally agreed to have him come out to provide a quote even though he was "So busy, I probably can't get to it for 2 months". When he arrived at our house (1/2 hour late btw), I could tell that he wasn't interested in the project. He kept talking about how other electricians don't know the code, how he's the best commercial contractor in the area, and how he doesn't usually do residential work. I don't know, but I certainly wouldn't want this guy doing any type of electrical work on an office building either. He may know his stuff, but his professionalism is extremely lacking. I would not recommend even giving this guy an opportunity to work with you if you have a residential electrical need.
Description of Work: Came to our house to provide a quote on installing a new breaker panel and hot tub hookup.
