Extremely professional. Josh was on time, neat, cleaned up the premises, and the work was done exactly as he had promised. The price was one third another company's bid.

Work was done well, but didn't clean up everything. I had sawdust on the floor and chunks of wood left on the lawn. Les, the plumber was very polite and informative, but I felt the cost was high for what was done. They were there for less than 2 hours.

Mark called me back about 30 minutes after I left a message. I was surprised as I had called at 7 p.m. Nonetheless, we made a date for the next day. Mark arrived earlier than he thought he would. He was very polite and efficient. He quickly installed my new disposal, cleaned up, and was on his way in less than an hour.

They responded same day and were priced less than other companies. The repairman was able to diagnose and resolve the problem (partly operator error on our part - quite embarrassing). We were able to save our dignity and get everything back up and running quickly. We look forward to using Zell Plumbing again in the future.

Job 1: Our plumber came out the day after I called, was flexible and adjusted to my schedule. The work was performed quickly and well. I thought the price was very reasonable. Job 2: The plumber Tom came out the next day, was pleasant and explained the problem well. He fixed it quickly. Price was reasonable.

Excellent experience all around. Quick return call at which time we set up an appointment within just a few days; arrived within 10 minutes of the appointed time; made excellent recommendations when we discussed what to fix and how; was friendly with me and with my two dogs; courteous, professional; did excellent work; did not leave a mess. I don't have the card with me as I write this but I believe it was Mark who did the work. He came so quickly and was polite, professional, personable and the price was certainly reasonable and the area was cleaned up when he left. All in all the experience was great (if any experience with a leaky pipe and valve can be considered great).

My call to them was returned promptly and a date and time set up to come out to the house. Tom arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. He gave me a lot of information and choices about each of the areas I addressed. I would definitely call Zell Plumbing again!

In four hours Mark completed a list of items that would have taken us days to do, even presuming we had the expertise to deal with them. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, competent and fair. When the outside faucet still posed a problem, he returned promptly and thoroughly repaired it, with no additional cost. We can recommend Zell Plumbing and Mark without reservation.

Very pleasant. Mark was great to work with, and explained everything to me. Since we needed to save some money, I performed the concrete tear out myself. Mark provided excellent direction on where to remove the concrete.

Tom called back within an hour of my call to Zell Plumbing. We set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived in the designated time frame. We looked at what needed to be done and he wrote up a cost for each item. Tom had suggested that I might try to tighten a nut on the water line into the house, and if that worked, then the shut off would not need to be replaced. I decided to have all the leaking systems replaced without my attempting anything, primarily because all were original to the house and over 50 years old. The work was done efficiently and neatly. I will call Zell again if I need plumbing work done. Also, there was no "visit" charge. The pricing was based on items worked on.

Due to the extent of the work for the new pipes Les had quoted me for all work that MIGHT need to be done. When they got into it they found ways to avoid some of the costs. Les was very good about explaining options to me and working with me on all issues. Some of the work with the water heater and toilet were investigative and required repair by deduction, meaning they needed to come back and try something else when the first attempt didn't work. I wasn't charged for the follow-up visits and I was extremely happy with their willingness to make it work. Les also followed up with a phone call just to see how things were going. I was very happy and would certainly hire them again for future projects.

Josh was courteous & prompt. He called me back about an hour after I left a voice message on the Zell office phone. He said he was going to be available within an hour & he showed up as promised. Price was $124 for the first 2 hours of work, then $62 for each additional hour.

I was very, very happy with Zell. They arrived at 8:30 am and stayed until 7:30pm to get the job done all in one day. (This was their preference, not mine. I was OK either way.) The job was done to my satisfaction, and they did a very good job cleaning up and disposing of materials.

He was on time, polite, and helpful. Assumed initially that the line was backed up when I talked to him on the telephone call, which I did not think was the case. When I confirmed after talking to my husband that the plumbing was new and that there was no backup elsewhere on the line, I sensed hesitation or disappointment. The price charged was the usual hourly rate, regardless of the amount of the hour used or travel time. The unclogging, unfortunately, took all of about 5-10 minutes. The price did include travel time, but I think that if I had known the hourly rate beforehand, I would have chosen someone else. There are lots of plumbers closer by with fairly good ratings who would have cost a lot less for such a minor deal.

Response on phone was prompt, and he came at the appointed time advising me by cell phone he was on the way. He looked over the problem and discussed options. He gave me a price that seemed reasonable and did the work immediately to my satisfaction. He cleaned up and provided me with instructions on how the newer faucet functioned. I am well satisfied.

The contacts at Zell Plumbing were friendly and helpful, and they called me back to answer my questions in just about a half an hour. They were polite and helpful and came out in a timely manner and on time. The work was quick, the plumber was friendly and polite, and he did a nice job as far as I can tell.

The plumber was polite and completed the work in a reasonable time. He called the day before to make an appointment and called the day of the appointment to let me know the exact time he would be there.

The quality of the work was very high. Mr. Zell and his assistant were professional, clean, efficient and offered lots of advice. I was very impressed with their work ethics, speed and workmanship. I highly recommend them.

Tom the plumber arrived on time, and completed the work in about 1 hour, as he had estimated. He supplied the replacement disposal at a price ($90) comparable to the best price I could find from any plumbing equipment supplier on the internet, which was about 30% below retail cost for the unit I selected. Labor made up the remainder of their charges- so about $150/hour for the plumber. That's reasonable for someone who knows what they are doing. In the past, I've had ''children'' show up to do a job I've arranged with an established service company. He seemed very experienced, skillful, and cleaned up after himself. Tom also answered my other plumbing questions about tree root invasion of sewer lines and a one-way float valve in a basement drain. I highly recommend Zell Plumbing for any service calls (if you can get Tom to do the work).

Since I purchased the toilet separately, we had to work around the product delivery time. They were very nice about working around my schedule. The plumber arrived when he said he would. He was careful not to track dirt into the house, and did the work in a clean and tidy manner.

Mark was very friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring by his confident approach to fixing the issues. He talked about doing things right and taking care of the customer. He also talked about customers who have used his company for years and years. These were all convincing testaments to their work. Mark was respectful of our home with his careful and patient approach to fixing the problems. He was not rushing, and he took the time to clean up when he was done with the work. I would definitely have Mark do more work for me in the future, if the need arises.

I originally wanted the plumber to do some maintenance and install an electronic gizmo I had seen on This Old House. The plumber, Tom Schilling, gave me some different advice and walked me through some alternatives. In the end, I had flood protection on three appliances instead of one for just over half the price. The work was done quickly and spotlessly. You wouldn't even know he had been there. He made sure I had his business card in order to call him if there were any problems with the work. I definitely would go back to this firm for work.
