Would highly recommend. I worked specifically with Tom and he was VERY responsive. I phoned him a few times after our initial discussion and quote to ask his opinion on toilets I was researching. Tom was prompt on the day we scheduled and was very patient with me while I watched, learned and asked questions. I'd gladly have him do work for me again.

Cost was higher than estimate, but Josh did a great job! Everything works great! We love having water pressure. We had one small leak and Josh came back and fixed it, no problem. We also had the toilet fixed as an add on.

I was surprised at how expensive this job was. Granted, the plumber worked a 10 hour day, but then that works out to about $160 per hour (estimating materials at about $200). I took comfort in his knowledge of codes and the fact that he is a licensed plumber and therefore knows his trade. But man! I can't help wondering if I had looked a little further, if I couldn't have found someone whose rate was more reasonable.

My husband recently noticed water damage on the basement ceiling. We called Zell Plumbing and they were able to come in a week (the wait was longer than what we had hoped for, but we had used Zell before and were pleased with their service, so the wait was worth it for us). Josh arrived right on time and immediately diagnosed the problem as a leak around the base of the toilet. He removed the toilet, replaced the wax ring and anchors. Everything now is in perfect working condition.

They was a leak after he left so we called them back and within an hour they came back out to fix it.

We liked them a lot. They were great. It was a small bathroom in the basement, and we bought a new tub that was bigger because it was cheaper, and they did what they could to make it work and it looked good in the end. The worker was very good about telling me what needed to be done about licensing. He was up front and honest and very good about talking to me and being respectful.

The work went fine. I was satisfied with the work, timeliness and the price.

I noticed water in the basement and called Tom at 5:30pm on Friday. Tom called me back right away and gave me a few troubleshooting tips to get me through the weekend. I turned off the water to the outside of the house and made an appointment for him to come out on Monday. I wasn't totally sure about the source for the leak, but Tom found the culprit right away. He replaced a pipe that had burst, told me why it happend, how to prevent it from happening again and replaced the pipe and outdoor faucet. He also spent some time looking over the water damage and suggested I call a water restoration company. I appreciated his advice!

It went extremely well. The owner explained the alternatives very well. He also took the time to explain out problem. He really made an effort to make things cheaper. Of all the service companies I think they are very exceptional.

He did extra work and did not charge any extra. They were very professional. The estimate was right on. He was very helpful and clean. They were very courteous.

I was very satisfied with the experience. Their straightforwardness and honesty was nice, and their commitment to getting the job done was great as well.

They were phenomenal. They showed up two hours later. He was here less than one hour. He was very professional and thorough. He explained everything and told me the cost before he started.

They have been very nice and helpful. Their prices are good and we like them. We have been satisfied with their quality of work. We will continue to use them in the future.

I found Zell Plumbing because of Angie's List and when I gave them a call and told them about the problem, she said a plumber would call in the near future. Josh called me back in about an hour or so and was extremely helpful. He asked a bunch of questions and when I told him about how this issue had perplexed all my handyman friends, he suggested I try soaking the aerator in bleach and see if that would help. I ended up trying this and noticed it helped some, but not entirely. I then ended up working from the "top down" as Josh recommended and went to a home improvement store to replace the aerator and the small flexible hose line that attaches the cold pipe to the facet attachment. And you know what? It works and I don't have stinky cold water anymore! If it wasn't for Josh's help I would still have stinky cold water and an upset wife! Thanks Josh and thanks Zell Plumbing. When I have a plumbing need I will definitely call you in the future.

Les was there on time and very pleasant while working on the faucet. This was not an easy job because the faucet could only be accessed from the inside and it was located behind a finished wall. Les worked diligently to find the faucet and was able to make the replacement without any damage to the interior. He left a small hole in the ceiling which has been covered with a vent and looks great now. He also installed a shut of valve so this will not be an issue in the future.

Tom is our go-to guy for plumbing, he always does a great job--he does what is needed and not more and he offers good information and advice. Plus, he puts up with our dog, who brings him toys while he's trying to work.

Les Zell was knowledgeable, efficient, very cost effective, and I can not recommend him highly enough. He was timely and wonderful to work with. He was open, honest, efficient and explained thoroughly what he was doing and checked everything to make sure it was in working order before he left. He's also very neat and clean.

Les was so good to work with. We talked about each part of the job to determine the most affordable way to complete the work. He was willing to to explain the pros and cons of different options and then give his advice. He arrived when he said he would be there, was flexible when there were issues around water service and gas lines, and made sure that I understood everything before he left. The entire experience was very positive.

I called 3 companies. Only one of those even returned my call! By then, I had already called Zell Plumbing. I talked to Zell Plumbing at 9am Wednesday morning and by 12:00 noon the same day I had a new water heater installed. I very much appreciate the prompt service that was provided. Tom was also very straight forward with me on the price and what to buy. I am grateful that I did not have to go the holiday weekend with no hot water! The coupon offered on Angie's List was given. The price was a bit high for a water heater but considering the service, I am very pleased with the outcome. I would rate the overall experience as A.

They provide the itemized list of what they did and how much it cost when I asked them for it more than once. They did a pretty good job but I needed that list. I would not use them again.

I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They were very courteous and professional. He answered all the questions that I had for him. He kept a clean work station. He worked within my schedule. He cleaned up after himself when he was done.

We contacted Zell plumbing on Thursday asking for a plumber to come out soon. We had water in our basement from what we thought was a leak in the exterior faucet. We were able to turn off the water so it was not an emergency. I received a call back from Les within an hour and made an appt for Monday. He was willing to work around our schedule, which we appreciated. He called before arriving at our home, came on time, did what he said he would do and offered suggestions for improvement. His price was reasonable and we would have him back again any time.

They were always on time and very professional. They were uniformed and fine to be in the home. They responded very quickly.
