Zell Plumbing & Heating

I contacted Zell's office and they had Josh call me back later that day to briefly discuss the work I wanted done. Josh scheduled time to come out that Friday. He called me that day and said he had gotten stuck at another job that had gone bad and asked if he could reschedule (he offered me the option). Since I had another shower I could use in my house, I agreed. Josh was about 20 minutes late for the appointment, but when he arrived he was professional and courteous. He quickly diagnosed where the leak was coming from and recommended replacing the entire drain apparatus at the tub all the way down to just beyond the p-trap. I agreed to do that work. Josh had to get a part at one point and was gone for a while, which led to him finishing the job after I thought he would, but still in a reasonable amount of time. The shower drain works great now. I would use Zell again for my plumbing needs based on my overall expereince.

They were very good about responding to my phone calls. The people who came out were very friendly, helpful and polite. I would definitely use them again in future if need be.

They are fair in their pricing. They have been very accurate and on time. They are informative about how they are going to do the work before starting it.

Tom and I had to play phone tag for about two days to get the initial estimate (which was only $20 off) - this was due to my not being available - not his fault. We set a time early in the morning - 7:30AM and he showed up ready to go at exactly that time - the work was complete and he was out of the house in less the 90 minutes.

They have reasonable prices. I had three different things that needed to be fixed and he was able to get it all done within an hour. Afterwards, something didn't seem to be fixed right, but it turns out it was a miscommunication on my part. He then came back out and fixed it for no extra charge except the cost of material.

They go the job done beut I thought the price was to high. I also needed to change out my water heater becuase the old one had a leak. This company would take to long to replaced the old one so I ended up going to Lowes and had them do it.

Tom arrived ontime. One spigot was replaced and the other was repaired within 45 minutes. He was polite, and professional. Also answered some questions I had.

Another plumbing company estimated the job at $600 to $800. Josh was able to complete the job for both parts and labor for around $200.

Josh came out, scoped the job, said he would e-mail me a quote, but never got back to me. He was prompt, and curteous when he came to our home (I actually liked him), but he just never returned any of my e-mails, and basically never followed up. If he wasn't interested in the job, he should have just politely declined. (I would have understood) Honestly, I was dissapointed because expected more from a company who was rated this highly.

Josh returned my initial call to Zell, as I was told he would, and we set up an appointment for service. He called the day of service to tell me he would be about 15 minutes late, which I appreciated. He completed all the work I requested and explained what he did. The areas where he worked were cleaned up when he was done, which I also appreciated. This employee's and this company's customer service impressed me : )

We would definitely use them again. Highly recommend Tom Schilling.

The plumbers from Zell were very prompt. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away. They were very knowledgeable and convenient. They were very kind and did the job really quick.

Excellent service, helpful tips and tricks to avoid having to call anyone out for simple problems, detailed instructions and descriptions of problems, solutions, and things that could be done. Indicated things we may want to do ourselves which he would not be allowed to do due to codes requiring complete replacement if he worked on it. Felt that he was cost effective, very good plumber, wanted us to not pay too much for items, explained cheap things we could buy to resolve things like clogged drains. No sales pressure on toilet to replace (he provided several options and allowed us to research what we wanted and get back to him). He spend a lot of time, finishing toilet chocking so that it looked very nicedly done.

Within a couple of hours of calling someone to come out, Josh arrived, looked at the situation, listened to my concerns, and helped me to understand what happened. Very professional and courteous.

Josh, the plumber on my job, called back timely and arrived promptly on the time we scheduled. The job posed a challenge in that to get to the burst pipe in the crawl space, Josh had to climb through an access door a little bigger than a keyboard. So even with having to crawl in and out of the space many times and having to eventually use a plastic pipe because a metal one wouldn't work, Josh was able to complete the work within 2 hours. I am very happy with the work that was performed and at the right price.

Josh called right on time and was able to arrive early. He had everything he needed with him and was able to complete all the repairs very quickly with quality parts. He even gave me some DIY tips to save me some money. Excellent work

I think they did very good. They explained things to me clearly and the service they provided was very satisfactory. They were punctual and very responsive and considerate.

Les was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. He fixed the pipe quickly with only the necessary holes in the sheetrock to get to the leaking pipe. The fix was done well at a reasonable price. I would use them over and over again.

They did a fine job. He gave me an estimate and that is what the final cost turned out to be. He was able to finish the job in one day. I felt like the cost was a little high, but he was able to complete the work in a timely manner. I would consider using them again in the future.

We got hold of him late in the date on Good Fiday, and he was able to come out first thing the following Monday. Very responsive given the Easter weekend conflict.The first repair was fairly straightforward, but Les had to do more investigative work to remedy the second. He was thorough and was able to markedly improve water pressure without having to knock a hole in the wall and replace old galvanized pipe. We appreciated how communicative Les was about the issues, possible solutions, and work done. We felt confident from beginning to end that he would remedy the issue in a time sensitive and cost effective manner. A pleasure to work with.

I've had a leak in my bathtub faucet for quite a while that has needed repair. Les was able to fix part of the problem, but had to make a trip for additional parts specific to my faucet. Due to my schedule, we arranged for him to come back in a couple of days to finish the job. Since he was making the trip, I had him buy a new improved handle to replace the old one. Les is a quentisential professional. Although I hadn't expected the glitches in the process and no one could have forseen the extra expense. He also checked my water heater. I am glad to have this chore behind me. I would hire Les again in a Minnesota minute.

The amount of work he did for the price I paid was great. He was absolutely excellent and deserves all A's. Zell was there on time and on the specific date that I asked him to come. I would definitely use Zell again in the future.
