They did a great job! I needed to get several windows fixed for the upcoming winter. Since we were out of town for a month I had to leave them with the windows hoping they'd have them done when we returned. They did.

Prices are ridiculous. For a 2-3 square foot insulated window with a leaking seal, I was quoted $250-$350 which is much more than buying an entirely new replacement window! A new custom sized energy star rated replacement window is only about $150.

We noticed a crack in a glazing panel of our fairly recent replacement windows and consequent misting between the glass panes. We were recommended this company by a realtor who had worked with them before. They replied to a message promptly, came soon to assess the job, measure up and gave us a bid;and he explained that because it involved glazing bars it might be a bit tricky but rang back to say that he had consulted his technician and it would not be a problem, so there would be no extra expense. Ten days later the technician came, the installation took less than an hour and you can't tell it was ever done. There is a 10 year guarantee for the pane too.

Overall it went very well. My husband called to set an appointment for the estimate and a rep came out soon after that. The estimate was comparable to others we received. A former employer of my husband had used WBG on a project in the office and it went well, so we hired them. We discussed our installation and hardware options. We had a tough time deciding which way we wanted to door to open and the rep was very patient with our indecision. As we were leaving the bathroom, he stopped and went back, took a measurement and realized that the door swing we finally chose would hit the crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling! We quickly reconfigured our door swing and were very grateful he caught that!!! There was a nice selection of hardware options from which to choose, and we had no trouble selecting hinges and a handle that would coordinate nicely with the vintage style hardware on our claw foot tub and pedestal sinks. Installation ended up being a bit tricky. On the way up to the second floor, a tool fell from one of the installer's toolboxes and dented the tread on our oak staircase. He picked it up and just ignored the damage. It was minor, but I felt an apology/acknowledgment would have been appropriate. Of course, the dent is now something I notice every day. They installed the wall without any problem, but when installing a hinge for the door, one of the tiles cracked. I guess it happens, but it was a frustrating delay. My husband was able to replace the cracked tile over the weekend and they fit us into the following week's schedule and then very quickly installed the door. They had me check the installation and went over the care and cleaning info with me. I was a bit disappointed that they did not clean their handprints off the glass or vacuum up the debris from the floor. But, the guys were friendly and really did a nice job on the installation. Perhaps they were pressed for time due to squeezing us into the schedule... Our new shower wall and door are beautiful and we are very pleased. We would recommend them to friends.

We thought they were very reputable. They did a very good job. We were really happy with them. We asked if we could bring it in, and if we could pick it up and put it in. We ended up saving some money by doing that.

They give good service at a good price.

Initial measurements of both mirror and show doors were off and both did not fit. Took some time to get it right but vendor made it right financially. This stuff happens once in a while. Good people to work with.

Very well. I live out of state, so they took a look at the window the day after I called them. They sent me a bid, which needed signed approval for them to go ahead with the work, and within, 5 days, replaced the pane of cracked glass.

It went very well. They were professional, courteous, and on time with their services.

Fine. Replacement units were the proper size and were installed in a short time. I was very pleased.

They were prompt and they gave me a fair bid. There was a small confusion regarding the billing. When I brought it to their attention, they fixed it immediately. They were very apologetic about it. They were very good to work with. I worked with a particular person from there and he was a great. I’ll definitely work with them in the future.

They came highly recommended to us by several people and we had used them in the past but in this specific case, we were not really happy with their service. They came out to estimate the job and gave us the approximation of when it would be delivered and installed. We were then contacted a week later by the scheduling people who scheduled the job a couple of weeks later. It was custom-ordered glass, and they took a long time to fix the problem.

White bear glass was great to work with, very prompt, and they came out to look at the window without anyone even being home (they could because it was on the first floor). I was able to schedule installation within a week. The actual install took all of 20 minutes total and the finished product was great. Someone from White Bear Glass called back within a few days to make sure I was satisfied and I also received a thank you card with a coupon good for future services. I used them again a few weeks later to replace other windows and experienced the same great service.

They were prompt in responding to our request for an estimate and able to schedule our job earlier than they had originally anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. The individuals who installed the new insulated glass arrived right on time. The previous owner had placed some new trim over the inside area that needed to be removed to install the window. To accomodate for this unexpected circumstance and to avoid damage to trim, they were able to install the window from the outside, leaving the trim on the inside undisturbed.

We had our window broken by kids in our neighborhood a couple weeks ago. I had no idea where to turn. I found White Bear Glass using Angie's List in tandem with our local Dex yellow pages online. I called them the morning after the incident. When they heard what happened, they agreed to have someone come to the house early in the afternoon. The man was at our house on schedule. He told us he would have an estimate to us via telephone if we preferred within 24 hours. I told him this was fine. He called me the next morning with the estimate which came in right where I pretty much expected for a window that size. He told me they would replace the window and take the screen with them to repair at their facility after the fact, returning it to us when it was done. I paid half of the cost over the phone that day and they scheduled me to have the window done a week later. They kept in touch with me on all issues pertaining to scheduling over the next few days. On the day of the work, the worker was actually 10 minutes early. He had the job done in 30 minutes. I told him to charge the remainder of the work to the same card I used for the first half of the job. In less than a week, they called to let me know the screen was done. They agreed to drop it off at my home while I was at work and they had it back to me exactly when they promised. A couple days later, I received a hand written thank you card with a business card and a coupon for a discount on a future job in the mail. These people are extremely professional and courteous. From the woman who answered the phone, to the man who did the estimate, to the man who did they work, everyone was simply top notch. They seemed to genuinely value my business, even though it wasn't a huge job. I would absolutely recommend this group to someone else in a similar spot and would absolutely come to them again for my glass needs.

Couldn't have been better. Such nice people to work with and they certainly went out of their way for me. An absolutely up-lifting experience!

Overall we were very pleased with the product, the estimate, the installation and the price we paid as well as with all the personnel with whom we dealt.

The only thing that I regret about this installation is that the salesman highly recommended a larger shower door and we went with his recommendation. It's a small bathroom and because of the vanity & toilet locations, the large door meant that there is a very small panel of glass on one side of the door. I really wish that we had gone with a smaller door. It would have looked better, been easier to keep clean and I think the shower door would also be stronger. Other then this, the installation went well.

They were very quick and in and out. There was nothing negative about them. They did the job just like they said they would. There was no coating on the glass doors. I don't know if thats their fault or the manufacturer. They immediately re-ordered them for us.

They cleaned up everything, did a good job, and the price was on. I called and they said in the next couple days they will have the guy come out and check the measurements. Then they called the following day and were ready to go. The estimate was the same as the price and they'd be out in 2 weeks. A woman called a week later and they scheduled that the following week they would be out. They came when they said they would and got the job done rather quickly. I think they got it done in a half an hour. After they were done I couldn't tell that anyone was there. There was no broken glass and there was no mess at all.

IT WENT OKAY. THEY HAD TO COME BACK TWICE BECAUSE OF AN ERROR IN FABRICATION OF ORDERING GLASS. IT TOOK THEM ABOUT TWO AND A HALF WEEKS BECAUSE THE GLASS NEEDED TO BE SPECIALLY ORDERED. THEY DID A NICE JOB. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED THEM.

Very well. Only negative was that instead of the 2 weeks estimate to install it took almost 2 months.

I called to ask for an estimate and they had someone out at my house the next day. He gave me the bid within 20 minutes of arriving and I told him to go ahead with the job. I was told that it would take approximately 2 weeks for the glass to arrive. I was called two days later to schedule the install in approximately 2 weeks. The installer showed up on time and took approximately 1/2 hour to complete the install. He cleaned the glass and the area that he did the install in prior to his departure. We couldn't be happier with the windows as they look great. Their price was very reasonable in comparison to others that I had received quotes on, who were also on Angie's List. I would highly recommend them.
