 + -1 moreCraig was fantastic. We had to move the date a few times because I was installing a new roof and the roofers kept getting backed up. No problem for Craig, he was super flexible and when he finally got the ok to install, he was super professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I couldn't be happier with the work Craig did, he will be my Dish technician as long as I have a TV.

 + -1 moreWonderful job done by Craig! Do yourself a favor - bypass those kiosks in the retail stores and call Craig. He will give you excellent service and ensure that you are happy with every aspect of his install. I can tell he has pride in his work and it shows - I will tell everyone about Craig! I'm very glad I found him on Angie's List.
Description of Work: WOW! I was moving into a new home and I had spoken with the DirecTV reps in Menards/Costco. Then I found The Satellite Store on Angie's List. I contacted Craig and explained my concerns about the installation/price/etc. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he would make sure I was happy with every aspect of my experience with him and DirecTV. He arrived at our home on Friday morning right on time and was happy to get my install complete even though it was -15 out that morning! We walked through the house, and then we walked around the outside. He had a cool app on his phone that showed him where the satellite could be placed. I did not want the satellite on the roof or mounted in a visible area, he quickly pointed out an area on the foundation that he could mount it and I agreed. He ran the cable under the siding and then was able to enter the home through the basement and he neatly silicone the hole and dressed the cable perfectly. I didn't have a Coax jack in my loft area but he said he'd take care of that for me - he was able to access the coax from the other side of the wall. He cleaned up everything and didn't leave any evidence - very clean! He labeled each remote, programmed the remotes for the TV's and tested out the system. I had a few questions on some of the functionality of the system a few days after the install and I was able to call him direct - he happily answered my questions and said to call anytime. It is so nice to have a direct person to call rather then a large call center! He installed the Genie whole home DVR with 3 receivers, and added an additional coax. I am very impressed and would highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for satellite service!!

 + -1 moreThe service was outstanding from start to finish. Craig and his assistant were on time for the appointment and did a great job at installing the dish and the receivers. He had his laptop with and did all the the rebateforms for us. It was a much better experience than calling the DIRECTV 800 number. I will hire him again for my own house to run some coax cable to different rooms. He was very professional and easy to work with.

Description of Work: Installation of a new Directv system including one Home Media Center (HR34) and 3 H25 systems. Configured whole home DVR system. Installed Commdeck on roof. Installed Slimline dish on roof. Installed cable outlet in bedroom that previously did not have wiring/outlet.

 + -1 moreCraig is very busy and he got to the job as soon as he could. It's hard to find good help for dish work nowsdays. Dealing with DirectTV is a real joke, so I am glad we found Craig to do this work.
Description of Work: Craig installed a stronger dish base and realigned the dish. The dish had been reinstalled after a roofing job some time ago and kept getting worse and worse reception.

 + -1 moreI am a very particular professional service buyer. I use Angies all the time and don't touch people who have only one report. I was referred to Craig via another AV company. Craig came out, did a site visit promptly. We discussed using the Comcast cabling was important. He mounted the dish, connected everything, make it all work. I did need to cancel my DirectTV order and repurchase through him. Easy as I had not done the install yet. He is a dealer. Happy to give him the business. His service is free if you sign up with DirectTV. He blows away their techs.
Description of Work: Had purchased DirectTV ..directly from them. they sent a tech out who didn't want to go on roof, couldn't get signal, etc. etc. Didn't want to get me hooked up. Satallite is a tricky business... I wasn't about to mess with it.

Craig and his assistant were on time for the appointment and immediately explained to me what they would do and what my responsibilities were as a new subscriber. I was impressed with how efficiently and quickly they did the installation. After the installation, Craig did a thorough job of explaining all the facets of the equipment and walked me through the entire procedure for obtaining reception. Since I had signed on during a rebate campaign by Direct TV, he helped me verify my rebate status on the computer. Just as he was finishing the tutorial, I received a phone call regarding a tragic death in my family. Craig immediately withdrew for a few minutes to allow me to process the personal shock, and then quickly and quietly completed his presentation and left. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service provider. And now I'm enjoying excellent TV!
