We have three dogs which always make maintaining a pristine yard a challenge. On top of that, we had our the siding redone over the winter, which meant they were throwing all of the old siding onto already weak grass... unfortunately our lawn wasn't salvageable. We brought Tom in, and from the start he was terrific. Gave us an extremely fair estimate for new sod, his crew were beyond professional and my wife and I were amazed with how clean the site was when they left in the evening. The lawn looks incredible and we're excited to bring Tom in on future projects. (He even mulched in areas that we weren't anticipating... so great!) We've got garden projects that we were going to tackle on our own this year, but now we're going to save them for next year and get another opinion from Tom. Very highly recommend to all friends and family!

Tom and his crew worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They understood that the project was out of necessity and not choice and so they worked hard to make a tough situation better. They did this by adding fixes that were also visually pleasing. They really went the extra mile to ensure that we will no longer have water issues. Tom was communicative and responsive and went into helpful detail with explaining the project each step of the way. He was also knowledgeable and trustworthy. Not only was the end result functional, but they made it look great and we appreciated the extra thought that went into helping remedy our water issues and beautifying our yard in the process.

Everything went well. Tom immediately responded to my initial call, met with us with no delay, went over the project and delivered what we asked for. his work was exactly what we expected, his communication was great, and anytime he came across a problem he offered a solution at very reasonable cost or no cost to us.

I couldn’t have been happier with the work and how beautiful my yard looks. Every step of the way from our first meeting, to the design discussion, the installation, to the customer service and expertise were just outstanding. The work looks fantastic and Tom increased our curb appeal. Our neighbors and friends tell me how much they love what we have done to our yard. I am impressed with how efficient and thorough his team was and the quality of the plants. Tom knew exactly how I wanted my yard to look. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job! I called Mr. Sirek, to receive a quote for a fairly large project, a wall system in our sloping backyard. He was on time for the first visit, spent a lot of time telling us how much better he is than other landscapers. We made an appointment for a second visit, at which we were supposed to get a bid. On the day of the second scheduled visit, he called to say he couldn't make it, and we rescheduled for a different day. Somehow, between that call and the rescheduled visit, OUR landscaping project apparently became my husband's landscaping project. He had only my phone number, so would call, and give me messages for my husband. Send me texts, to forward to my husband. When he came for his second visit, that was the last straw. We were in the midst of a garage sale, so I was unable to be out in the backyard with them. But they then came back, and stood just outside the garage. I commented, "I would like to be a part of this discussion." My husband acknowledged that. Mr Sivek made no move to come into the garage, or to even acknowledge my comment. He added insult to injury, though, by texting me on Sunday morning at 8 am (I happened to be up), with a message for my husband, that he'd be there at 10:30, and that he had some ideas he was sure my husband would like. We had, actually, already engaged a different company, so I texted back that he didn't need to come. I have no idea whether Sivek Landscaping actually does good work; he DOES have good reviews, although only a handful. But to treat one half of a couple, BOTH of whom will be making the decision to hire or not to hire, like a secretary for her spouse is a bad idea. As is spending a LOT of your time telling people how good you are; I don't want you to tell me, I want you to show me, with photos of projects you've done.

Basically if you have a plan for what you want done this company can do that (purchase materials and install plants etc) very well - they are not a design company and I think the owner would be honest about that - but the work was very well done - he contracts out to good people - be sure you have a price firmed up ahead of time......

Tom was great to work with. He listened to us and made sure he understood what we wanted. Tom would check back often to make sure things were looking the way we expected. The project turned out fantastic. We are very happy. We've already had many comments on how nice everything looks.

Tom was very responsive and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. I was very impressed with the quality of work by he and his crew. They finished in an amazingly short amount of time. Just two days! Not to mention, he threw in extra Cedar chips and limestone fill for future seasonal maintenance. I highly recommend his services.

Tom was out right away after I contacted him, understood completely what needed to be done with the walkway, gave me options and explained them, from lower price but not as permanent to somewhat higher price but won't sink in the future. He was very conscious of making sure that I was pleased, and changed anything that concerned me (sump pump drainage took some creative thinking on both our parts). He added sod in places that I hadn't even asked for, but that he thought needed it, with no up-charge. He strikes me as someone who really wants to take care of the customer, and will do what it takes to make sure that happens.

Tom fit our small project into his schedule between two other larger jobs. He and his crew started and finished the job the day after it was bid. They were pleasant to work with and went beyond expectations, like shaking out the and quot;goodand quot; soil from old sod so we could use it elsewhere. The work was completed as we had discussed. They were prompt and quick to return phone calls.

Tom's crew did a great job. I was lucky to get him between jobs because he was able to start the next day! It is amazing on how the removal of the old shrubs improved the curb appeal of my house. I plan to sell my house next year and this will more than pay for itself when I list it. I should have taken a before picture because the old shrubs were set in DEEP. I went at the old yew shrubs with a shovel, chain saw and even with a 4x4 truck with a log chain. I didn't even budge them! And Tom's crew took them out by hand! The root ball on those shrubs were HUGE. I was glad he didn't use any backhoe or bobcat and dug all by hand. The reason was that I just sodded my front lawn this Spring and I didn't want to damage it. It came through without a scratch. I was great working with Tom (he knows his stuff), and his crew work very hard! I have proof of that! I would hire this team again.

I was impressed that Tom made sure to communicate with me at each step of the process so that I knew what was happening and that there were no questions or problems. Tom's crew arrived on time, if not early each day and worked very hard. His team was courteous and professional, as well as skilled. They first removed the grass and hauled that away while Tom arrived with the different products to go in: Black planting dirt, mulch, and Aglime for the pathway (neat product Tom recommended that they use to line bases of baseball stadiums). Then the plants we had picked out came in the second day and we arranged were we wanted them to go as they were being put in by crew members. Tom brought over the beautiful trellis and we added the solar lights. They cleaned up and even left us enough mulch and other product to add as needed. Tom is a sincere business man and we were extremely pleased with the entire process and results.
