XTREME TREE TEAM

In removing the Mother Tree of our neighborhood in a neighboring yard being prepared for a tear down, a team from this company has succeeded in knocking out our phone service. They are only focused on completing 'their contract', not on the impact of their behavior.

Both trees were cut and removed with minimal impacts to other nearby trees. I liked that they put down a sheet of plywood under their boom truck on the driveway to catch any oil drippings from their truck. Previous service providers would always leave oil spots or even spill gas from their chainsaws on the blacktop.

He did a great job. He cleaned up after himself.

Fantastic - I would recommend these guys to anyone. Our willow tree was over 4 stories tall and had started rotting in the middle of the huge trunk base. Two of the 6 trunk bases had fallen in the last couple of months and we were very concerned that if more fell, they would damage either our house or the house next door. In addition, the willow was situated in the back yard (not an easy place to get to with equipment) and about 4 feet from a pond. In one day, Pete's team was able to remove everything. They also took extra care not to damage any of our yard or our neighbors yard with their equipment. They did a great job of cleaning up all the lose stems and leaves from both the front and back of your yard.

This is a long-overdue thank you to Xtreme Tree (Pete and crew) for their great service with snow removal. I serve on the Board of the condo association which has contracted with Pete for several years, and we?ve not been disappointed. The crew is timely after a snowfall, and sends the plow as quickly as possible to clear the lot and driveway so that owners can leave the garage as soon as possible. The sidewalks are shoveled to the point of being without snow and ice when Xtreme Tree gets done ? and they provide ice-melt as well. The one time when the crew did not give attention to their work, the management company phoned Pete (the owner) and Pete himself came to finish the job to our satisfaction. (What other business owners offer that type of service?!) In the growing season, the condo association always hires Xtreme Tree for pruning trees; and the staff arborist is always ready to offer assistance if a tree is having a problem. Many thanks to Pete and his staff. You are appreciated, and the neighbors envy our pristine sidewalks and driveway during the snow-filled months.

SUPERB! Pete, the owner, made a very competitive proposal and my wife and I accepted it. His crew arrived on time and did a beautiful job. They accidentally snipped my underground sprinkler wire. Pete is a man of principle and he paid for the repair by my underground sprinkler contractor. He also applied the Angie's List coupon. BOTTOM LINE: I HIGHLY recommend Xtreme Tree Team as a VERY professional company, one that will go to "xtremes" to satisfy the customer! They do outstanding work and they stand behind it. Kudos to Pete!

Extreme Tree did a fantastic job of both $estimating and completing an extensive tree removal job for me in August 2013. I was on a tight schedule, whereby I needed to bid the job on a specified day, then complete the job within three days after that. I scheduled these days with Extreme two weeks ahead of time. They did an incredible job, the workers were friendly, helpful and they cleaned up debris afterwards.

They were great! They were amazing. They came on a Saturday at the last minute. Professional, they worked quickly and pushed through when it started raining and didn't stop until the job was done.

They were timely, friendly and did a very nice job. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would absolutely use their service again.

I met with Pete and got an estimate for tree trimming. He was professional and described what he would recommend. I hired him and asked that we wait a couple of weeks until the ground was frozen. Once we hit December he called me and said he could be out the following day. He and his crew showed up right on time and they trimmed 7 oaks and 1 maple tree. They hauled all the brush to the curb and put it through the shredder. They raked up the leaves and cleaned up after themselves. After talking with me, Pete had the crew remove some Buckthorn on the side of the house and also removed some brush that was already down, at no additional cost. I was happy with the result and will definitely use Xtreme Tree in the future.

The owner is extremely dependable and an all around good person. His prices are very fair. He returns calls promptly.

Very well. The owner gave good instructions to the folks on the job. They were courteous and did the work to our satisfaction, checking with us periodically and sometimes going back and retouching if needed.

Contacted Xtreme because they had done work for others I know, and while they said he does good work, they said to expect poor communications. That was an understatement. First call I actually got Pete on the phone, said he'd be out that week to scope the work. He never showed or called. I called again the following week, left a message to call. Never got a call back. So I called someone else (Absolute Tree Service) who was great to work with. Never did hear anything from Xtreme.

This was the second time I went with Xtreme Tree Service. This time we had to postpone it several times because of the never ending winter. Kept getting snowstorms. Xtreme tree handled scheduling the power shut off with Xcel. They did good job of getting the trees down and cleaning up. They had to open up part of my chain link fence and got it back together okay. I am happy with the service, happy with the pricing, and will use them again.

I'm sure these guys were flooded with calls, but they got the tree off my power line in three hours which is pretty awesome! I am assuming they'll be back in a day or two to finish since I haven't paid yet! :-) They said removing the tree parts and giving my tree a little trim to make it look less damaged would be about $200.

They came and checked out the tree to see if they could remove it. We had a really bad storm, so they came out and cut it down a few day's later. They hauled away all the debree.

Never used them because we waited so long

I found Xtreme Tree Team on Angie?s List and due to the positive customer comments it was the first call I decided to make. I left a message and Pete called back within a few hours and was out that afternoon to give us an estimate. Because a power line needed to be dropped in order to get the trees down, the work had to be scheduled around the electric company?s availability. Pete coordinated that with the electric company and the work was scheduled within a few days. The 5 trees in a cluster to be removed were really big and very tall (Pete said about 50 ft. tall, it looked more like a 100 ft. to me, but what do I know?). Pete and his team removed the trees and ground the stumps and when they were done it was like the trees had never been there. Their clean-up was perfect. When they arrived we asked about a few other tree situations in our yard and Pete and his team did those items as well, at a nominal price. They arrived at 7:30 and were done around 5:00 that afternoon and they were dedicated to the work continuously the whole time. Pete and his team are professional, hardworking, have great attention to detail and are really nice people! I certainly would recommend them to anyone and Xtreme Tree Team is definitely the only tree service I will call in the future.

Xtreme Tree was a no-show. Poor customer service.

Arrived early; worked through extreme heat and cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris. Crew was polite, totally knowledgable and checked every so often to make sure the work was going as we expected. They cleaned everything completely.

Called and left a message saying that I had a tree that needed trimming and to please call me. Waited two full weeks, no call back. Called again, saying that I had previously called and that no one had returned my call, still had a tree that needed trimming, please call me back. It has now been another three full weeks with no call back. They "may" be an alright company according to the comments on Angie's List, but how would you know if they never return phone calls?

Poor follow-through. Not impressed.

My wife and I tried to contact Xtreme Tree Team after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List and a recommendation from our neighbor. We called and left messages on their answering machine no less than four (4) times over about a one week period. At this time (06/29.2012) we have still not had a single response. On one of messages we even explained to them that we understood they might me too busy to work with us but to please just let us know so we could look elsewhere. We also sent an e-mail stating our disappointment of not getting a call-back and once again did not get a response. Not returning phone messages of potential customers is a horrible business practice and we would have to give them a resounding "F". It makes us wonder what their follow-up would be like if we would have had the chance to hire them.

Went great. I removed a section of my chain link fence (it saved me money if they didn't have to deal with it) for the equipment to get in my yard and Xtreme Tree Team ground out the stump, raked up the chips. No issues.I gave Xtreme Tree a B in responsiveness as I didn't get a response to my initial call for close to a week and had scratched them off the list. But when Pete did arrive, we talked and I got a quote, it was well worth the wait. Professional and efficient. I already have another request into them for some tree trimming.
