He is a general contractor. He has subs. The guy that actually did the painting I think has his own business. The cabinet maker has his own business. We did it all through the contract that we had with him. What stood out about him was excellent communication and excellent quality of work. He is a good problem solver. When things come up, you have to kind of adjust and he is very good at that. He never acts like, "Oh dear. I don't know what to do." He always has a solution. He is a great guy. He is very good at what he does. He cleans up everyday. What I liked about him was that he communicates in the 21st century. He has his gmail calendars and sends you dates that certain people are going to be here. He does a project plan and he always knows where he is in the project plan. That was very helpful.

Great! Geoff and his crew were prompt, kind, courteous, clean and knowledgeable. They constructed walls and installed the woodwork for the project. Everyone, especially Geoff, were very forthcoming with ideas and hints to make the space very nice, easy to live in AND within budget. I was very happy with all the work done by Tilsenbilt!

Our experience with Tilsenbilt and with Geoff Tilsen in particular was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of work speaks for itself but the professionalism with which all aspects of the project were handled is what impressed me most. Geoff obviously has a great long standing relationship with his subs and employees and we were always kept in the loop. We will certainly be calling on Tilsenbilt for all our future projects.
