He knows his stuff. The painters came and were also courteous and professional and talented. The results were gorgeous! I am so pleased and would gladly recommend and use CertaPro of Minnetonka again.

He understood we were in a hurry as we had moved into a new home and were living in the basement until work could be completed. We were promised an estimate by email that day. I called the next day when I had not received it. I left a message and it is now 5 days later with no response.

Certa Pro Minnetonka was able to get one of their best interior painters scheduled and the job completed on time. I called a few other painters, but they didn't have the resources to get my job scheduled in the time frame that I needed. I would use Certa Pro Minnetonka again in our new home.
Description of Work: painted several rooms and a ceiling in my home. Repaired holes and cracks in the walls as well.

+ 1 moreJeff Tetzlaff was great to work with, his employees were friendly and punctual, and I appreciated them doing all the proper prep work to protect and take care of the surrounding areas. I had not contracted to paint the ceiling after wallpaper removal, but when I realized it should be done too, they were very accommodating and it was easy to reach Jeff, get it approved and quoted. The walls needed a bit of repair work in order to be repapered and Dmitriy went above and beyond to make them perfect. The kitchen required a lot of careful prep work and some rather tedious painting. The gal painting was very particular and did a great job. I will definitely use this group again - prices were very fair, prep and clean up were great, and the quality of work was very good.
Description of Work: Certa Pro did some wallpaper removal and then painted ceiling in a bathroom. Had them do ceiling and walls in an adjoining bedroom, and also painted a large kitchen.

Description of Work: Work started with a crew that paint was dripped on our new couch, older blinds were folded in half, paint splattered on other woodwork, ceiling ruined - that 's just to name a few things. That crew was dismissed from our home and we waited on another. The next painter, Chris, was very good. He corrected (or to the best of his ability) mistake after mistake after mistake left by the first crew and stated ours wasn't the first house he was assigned to do so. I would not recommend CertiPro to anyone. The ceiling was fixed, paint still remains on our new couch, and the blinds the owner told us were old. But, to us,they were old but still functional when taken down. He was only willing to take $100 off custom-made patio blinds with the verticals inside the sheers. Paint/splatters were on our newly finished wood floors, too, along with light fixtures. All the bad of this report is due to the first crew and only 2-3 days in our house to cause the damage. Their truck also dripped oil over our newly paved driveway which we will have to wait until Spring to see the remains left behind. The job was to take only a week and stretched almost out to four. We were greatly inconvenienced by the length of time it took to complete the job. Chris deserves a raise for always having to fix other co-workers mistakes. The owner did take some money off the top as our final invoice total but felt it really wasn't enough for being left now with no drapes and paint on the couch. The company and first crew are the poor marks. Chris would get an A.

+ -1 moreThey’re not the cheapest but they do high-quality work. They brought the paint and it was the right color and texture I wanted. I would use them again and recommend them. They were the only ones that were able to get in right away, so I was happy with the responsiveness.

This project had certain challenges (high vaulted ceilings, recently removed wall paper and the like) and the team took care of everything to our satisfaction and at a very reasonable price. Jeff provided good advice before the project and worked with us to get the job scheduled as quickly as possible and at a time convenient to us. He maintained good communication with us before, during and after the project. I recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

As a do-it-yourselfer, Certipro of Minnetonka was the first contractor I've hired - I'm on my second fixer-upper - and I couldn't be happier. During Jeff's first visit - project estimation - he took the time to understand what me and my young family were looking for. I was looking for a company that would allow us to do the prep work (to keep within budget) and then come in and take care of all the painting. Not only did he support this, he priced accordingly where the two other bidders did not. On top of this, both Jeff and his crew gave me some helpful pointers. Then during the painting and afterwards, Jeff stopped by to make sure my expectations were being met. His onsite crew was also good to work and took the quality of their work seriously. Well done.
