"We have used His Workmanship 2 times with completely different experiences. The first could not have gone better! The crew was exceptional—such hard workers! With this in mind we had very high hopes for this recent visit; however, we could not be more disappointed. This crew did not seem to accomplish a whole lot in the 3 hours. Their work was sloppy—they left trimmings all over the porch and bed, and bushes were not cut cleanly (lots of uneven pieces sticking up). They did not even bring any equipment. The most frustrating part however was how things were handled from there. The His Workmanship website states very clearly that ALL email is answered within 24 hours—Eric, the owner, has always been quick to respond in terms of questions about coming out for a job, and yet, when we emailed him (2 times!) asking to discuss this recent less-than-stellar performance he completely ignored us! It’s been 2 weeks and no word whatsoever. This is unacceptable customer service! Sadly, it seems, they only respond when it profits them. If we could have had a simple conversation, the company might have kept our loyalty and business! As it stands we are upset and especially disheartened from this experience—this is NOT a good reflection of HIS workmanship!! We honestly chose this company because they stand apart as an upfront Christian organization. We really love what this is supposed to be based on! The whole premise of the company leads us to believe they have integrity and are a service that stands by its work, is trustworthy, and one that treats its customers fairly. How very disappointing to be treated otherwise. From this experience we would NOT recommend using this company!"

Kind of cool that he let us vent about our experience with our current fridge, then affirmed our choice of the Cafe model. Nice to deal with a person who listens first, then offers suggestions. The follow through was even better, as Dave, who may even own the store, called to advise about delivery availability and confirmed our time. On delivery day 2 men arrived 1 minute early, took a look at our site, and went to work. Neat, clean, no nonsense, 3/4 hour included delivery, takeaway of our old unit, hook-up water, and demonstration of the features. Impressive operation, great follow through. "Walters acquired me as a customer from LePage in 2020, where I had a 3 year price guarantee that started November 2020. After a year, Walters started increasing my price without advance notice. This quickly got out of control, going as high as a 91.8% year-over-year increase! Overall, my bill increased 140% in a 2 year time period. This is much higher than inflation, which has only topped out at 8.6%. Walters is price gouging on an essential service – this is indisputable. When I contacted Walters, they gave me a line about their costs going up and offered me a $7 quarterly discount. They wouldn’t budge to make any reasonable concession in pricing, even though I offered to pay an inflation adjusted price from my original billing. When I was transferred to a supervisor, he was conveniently out of the office. I had a similar experience with Walters when I was with them previously. At that time, they admitted that they automatically increase their customers’ bills after a year. This is a disgusting, unethical practice and results in bills that raise endlessly. NEVER use Walters. Their pricing tactics are predatory and unethical. Walters should lose their trash hauler license in C*** Rapids due to their unethical business pricing practices on an essential service. I have left Walters and gone to another provider who was willing to provide a reasonable price."
